With the COVD years, I was one of those men that stopped shaving regularly and grew facial hair. It was partly a new thing to try and partly just laziness. And once you grow it out, shaving even occasionally becomes an even bigger chore, its a self sustaining cycle. This shaver/trimmer though has made me like shaving again. It sounds cliche, but the ease with which I can get a clean shaven look from a full grown beard is a great trick to have in your pocket(bathroom). I have had some electric shavers before which left you feeling a cat had scratched your face, so I was pleasantly surprised by the smooth feeling I had after my first shave with this. I have tried it with and without water, and there doesn't seem to be a great deal of difference in the effect. I did try it with shaving foam once, and that was a big mistake, unlike a razor once you glid this through the foam, the foam doesn't automatically come off with the blade, it just mixes in, so its really hard to gauge what's going on under there, if I am leaving patches or getting a good clean shave. It even left multiple little nicks which caused blood to drip out. I could not feel any of it at all till I wiped it off with water, but since there was still foam after multiple rounds on the same spot, I could not guage my pressure or work clearly. I don't blame that completely on this device, but perhaps shaving foam not the best idea with this. The biggest surprise for me though is that it actually looks better than a normal razor, again I am no expert in the art of facial hair shaving, but since you move this both ways, you are shaving both with the grain and against the grain simultaneously, giving you a cleaner look. I might have to do some research if that's actually good for me in the long run. Now, coming to the accessories and the charging. All you get in the box is a USB cable without a wall adapter. So you need to have your own. Not the biggest complaint, but I hate the trend Apple has started. In the name of accessories all you get is a 5 length comb, which is just OK for different uses. Its not the best at arm pit or other sensitive areas since you can't get as close as you might want to. Overall its a good device, but you might end up needing to but a few other helping items to complete your set.

Handy and powerful, pocket sized facial trimmer

The Philips Norelco OneBlade is a handy pocket sized facial trimmer, not much larger than a conventional razor. It has a simple, ergonomic design in a color that you aren't going to lose, a fluorescent green color! It comes with a single blade, a protective case for the blade, a 5 setting trimming guide, a USB charging cable and the main unit itself. I charged the unit fully before using for the first time. Inserting the blade is very simple, slide it in place and click to secure. There is a quick release button to be able to remove and change the blades quickly as well. According to Philips, the blades last up to 4 months, based on shaving twice a week. That is about my shaving cadence, so we'll see how that works out. My initial experience, after shaving with a close wet razor for years, was a little challenged. I haven't cut myself shaving in many years now, but the very first time with this OneBlade, I did end up cutting my neck with it. Totally could have been user error, getting to grips with the new razor, but just wanted to let it be known. I've tried dry shaving and wet shaving with this OneBlade. So far the results are decent, not perfect, but decent. It does give a close shave, just not quite as close as a regular razor, and I've found that shaving my neck, I have to go over it several more times than I do with a regular razor. The packaging also states, 360 blade... technically, you can get to and use both sides of the blade, so you can get a shave both ways, but the blade does not swivel 360º if that was an assumption you may have had. It does move in and out, it pivots in place, it does rotate an amount as well. The 5 setting trimmer feels a little bit of a novelty on this razor, I am not sure I would trust it 100%. It feels like it could pop off at any moment resulting in a comedy shaving error. I will state that hasn't happened to me, but that's what it feels like with the attachment on the OneBlade. Overall, this is a nice, compact facial trimmer, enabling you to trim down an unruly beard, edge it all up and make it neat, or to shave it off. Just be careful if you are switching from a regular blade to the OneBlade, the transition may take a moment, but overall, a nice product.

I’ve used a OneBlade razor as part of my travel kit for about five years. I appreciate the small size, long life between charges, and included attachments. My only complaint about my previous OneBlade was the clip-on accessories (e.g., beard trimmer) were fixed in size, not durable, and tended to come off while in use. This version fixes this issue with an adjustable trimming blade that locks into place for use. This attachment is sturdy and simple to use, once you have it set. Note that while the setting for beard length is ostensibly a thumbwheel, I needed the leverage of a small screwdriver to adjust it. I actually prefer this, as it makes it nearly impossible for it to re-calibrate on its own during travel, meaning my beard will remain the length I intended. Another appreciated feature is the new swivel shaving head (at least it’s newer than my original model). This head pivots around your face, and I even use it to trim off ear and other unwanted hair. Whether you’re looking for a travel razor of one for your home, this is an excellent update to a product I already rely on. I strongly recommend this.

The Philips Norelco OneBlade 360 Face hybrid electric trimmer is simply fantastic! One of the best features of the OneBlade 360 is its versatility. It can be used for trimming, edging, and shaving, making it a perfect all-in-one grooming tool. It's also very easy to use - the ergonomic handle fits comfortably in my hand, and the adjustable trimming comb ensures a perfect trim every time. The blade is very sharp and does an excellent job of cutting through even the thickest hair. Battery life is another impressive feature of the OneBlade 360. I can use it for long periods of time on a single charge, and it charges up quickly, which is a significant advantage for those who travel frequently. The waterproof design is another plus point, making it convenient to use and clean. Overall, I would highly recommend the Philips Norelco OneBlade 360 Face hybrid electric trimmer to anyone looking for a reliable and versatile grooming tool. It's easy to use, gentle on the skin, and has a long-lasting battery, making it a great investment for any man's grooming routine.

The shaver is packaged without a power adapter, and I guess we are expected to use the one from our phones, except many phones are now USB-C! It does include a power cord and it comes with one attachment, I think for hair trimming. The shaver is unique in the way that the head is very thin and has no real cover as others. At first I wondered if it would 'pinch' but it has been very efficient and works well. Great for eye brows ! Also allows flexible shaping, and very maneuverable. The whole blade and head flexes and tilts. I am quite impressed actually, and may never want a conventional shaver again. Rechargeable battery built-in and charges quickly but I think it depend on which adapter you have. The shaver feels good in the hand. Has rubber grips and neon green color, so very fashionable as well ! My wish list would be a few more attachments of different depths, and maybe that power adapter cube. All in all an improvement on other trimmers/ shavers and very nice and easy to use. I think maintenance will be less as there isn't anywhere to collect debris.

    Excellent electric razor!

This is the most comfortable electric razor I have ever used. Usually I have significant irritation from every electric razor I have tried for at least a week or more. With this razor I had zero irritation from the first use. The design of the blade system is genius. It doesn't shave quite as close as my regular razor blade, but it's close enough that I'm the only one who knows the difference. The trimming attachment is so simple to adjust, and it will stay on the setting you put it on unless you actively change it. Ive had some trimmers that if you accidentally barely touch the adjustment for the setting it will switch mid-shave. It adjusts from 1 to 5 millimeters. It charges really fast, and then holds a charge for a long time. You can use it wet or dry, and it works well with a thin layer of shave butter that I like to use. Cleaning the blade is simple, and it's easy and relatively cheap to replace. Even though this is not the body version, you can use it to trim body hair. It's just not super efficient for that. I would highly recommend this razor.

I love my new Philips Norelco OneBlade 360 Face, it gives a great shave on both wet and dry skin (I even tried it on a small part of my arm first, without the guard). I preferred how it feels after using with shaving gel/cream vs dry, but both methods left a close to the skin shave, without razor burn. Make sure to hold the head "flat" against the skin for best results (I tried to use the edge at one point, however, nothing was really happening). I have also used it to shape and trim my goatee. It did a great job leaving it even, and without any loose strands, on the level 3 setting of the guard. Although it came with charge, it asked me to charge it a certain amount of time before use, so I did. So far I've used it about 4 or 5 times since that original charging session, and haven't needed to charge it again yet, so I would like to think the battery is a pretty good one. I am very pleased with my experience so far, and am looking forward to see what the Philips Norelco OneBlade 360 Face is like in the longer run.

    Great travel trimmer/shaver

I've always loved norelco products and this is one that is definitely going to be added to my arsenal of grooming. If you're like me, you hate having to purchase overpriced razor blades that aren't guaranteed to get the job done, or leave your skin irritated, or nicked looking like a murder scene when you are trying to walk out the door. This Phillips norelco trimmer eliminates most of that in a simple to use and ergonomic form factor. Right out-of-the-box you get the razor handle in a cool neon green color with a Navy blue inlay. You get one razor blade with a travel razor guard, an adjustable guard with five length settings, and a usb charging cable. There are a set of instructions that I actually read before use because I wanted to make sure I got the most out of this shaving experience as possible… So with that, it says to fully charge the battery, it must charge for 8 hours!?! I was initially put off by that fact and realized it comes with NiMh battery that lasts only upto 45 minutes on an 8 hour charge. I am not happy about that fact but I guess when I’m not using it, it should be charging. Also, there is no low battery indicator by light or any signal other than the blade operating more slowly. These two points I can get over if at least it proves to be a good shaving experience. The handle is very light and the blade once attached pivots and flexes fairly easily. It fits into the hand very nice and the power button is easily pressed. It is a little noisy for such a small device but no more than a typical hair trimmer. It took a little practice for the first couple of passes to get the proper use of the double sided trimmer blade which allows you to shave in both directions. You’ll have the feeling or need for speed when using this thing but it is best to take your time and move slowly and smoothly over the skin. As it will not cut you like a normal straight razor, I did get caught up on some coarse hair and a little nick but nothing compared to a typical razor. The blade is also fairly small which makes for the long haul but precise cutting. When cutting thru longer hair and not using foam or water, it is thrown out with no regard and does require a cleanup afterwards. So to avoid this you can actually use shaving foam in conjunction with this blade. I do love the fact that I can use it wet or dry which makes it especially handy for travelling. The shave is pretty close but does not give that baby face feel as it leaves a slight stubble but a clean look. I found myself trying to angle the blade but it is not made for that as I read in the instructions. It is either flat running or 90` to get that precise edging. I shave my facial hair down pretty low most of the time so I could not tell you how well the adjustable guard works for longer beards, but I did use it for my low cut and it makes for a worry free cut evenly across the plane of haie. Overall a great product for the traveler or the guy who wants to get precise edging without the irritation and nicking of the traditional blade. Economically I can see this saving me a ton not having to purchase blades so often but only time will tell.

So, over the past few years since I started working from home all the time, I will say that my normal shaving cadence has stretched out quite a bit. My electric shaver does great after two days, but once it gets past that, there are some comfort issues unless I go over my entire face once going with the grain of my beard (to allow the middle trimmer style blade to reduce the size of the stubble), then the normal shave. This was a better alternative than using the pop-out trimmer to do the first pass as that wasn't the most comfortable. While I had seen the original OneBlade before and was intrigued, I just wasn't sure if I really needed something like that. Now, with the new OneBlade 360 series, I figured I would give it a try. The handle for the OneBlade 360 Face is a good size. It has the push-button on/off and an single LED battery indicator (to give you a basic idea on how much charge is left). There is a textured rubber grip, which is nice (but can make it a little harder to clean the trimmed hair off). On the bottom, there is the charging port for the USB-A to proprietary port cable (and by the way, it does not come with the USB charging block, so hopefully you already have one available). The blade on the new OneBlade 360 is very similar to the previous version, but now it has added side-to-side tilting along with front-to-back tilting with the idea to allow it to follow the contours of your face as you use it. While I understand the idea, I personally don't see any benefit (at least for the side-to-side portion) as it takes quite a bit of pressure to get it to tilt and it actually gets a bit uncomfortable (the corner areas outside the cutting blade edges will start to push into my skin). Just a general guiding along my face to trim everything is all that is really needed. It does come with an adjustable comb for keeping your beard at just the right length. Now, the main functionality of the blade, the beard trimming, is great. It isn't designed to give an extremely smooth shave, but in my experience, it does get it down to a 10-12 hour shadow. It works fairly quick, and as an improvement over my previous process, it doesn't really leave any missed hair. I've tried using it several times, with the beard length ranging 3-4 days, and there is not an issue with the length. With using it as a pre-shave trim down, it allows me to get the final pass with my regular electric shaver done very quickly (about a minute). While I'm not too keen on the "360" aspect of the blades (which you can get the non-360 replacement blades that will still work with the handle), the overall functionality is a great first step in my lazier shaving process.

    Philips Products Don't Disappoint

Philips is a brand I trust and I personally own several Philips health devices, from my CPAP Machine, to my Sonicare Toothbrush. To be honest, I'm not too fussy about shaving, but I do have a goatee and mustache. This OneBlade from Philips Trims, Edges and Shaves in one easily used convenient device. It's also waterproof, so you can use it the shower. Out of the box, you need to charge it for about 8 hours. I was surprised to see it uses older NiMH Battery technology as opposed to Lithium Ion, but even though NiMH is older, it's still reliable and safe. Once charged, it can provide up to 45 minutes of use (so says Philips). I can't confirm that as I won't ever find myself in a situation which requires using this for 45 minutes. And when not being used, it will be plugged in to charge for the next use. This is very simple to use. You get a 360 Blade, with fast moving blades, which move 200 times per second and moves in just about any direction to adjust to the contour of your face. You also get a 5 setting cutting comb, which you can use to trim hair, such as a beard or mustache. It comes with a USB (standard USB A, not USB C) cable, but no charging brick. Most of us have loads of charging bricks sitting idle in a drawer, so not an issue. And you get a cover for the blade, which protects it when not in use. Blades are said to last up to 4 months before needing to be replaced. Philips suggests as you use the shaver, over time a replacement symbol will appear, which when fully visible lets you know it's time to replace the blade, which you can order from Philips or your BestBuy Store. It comes with a full two year warranty, it's from Philips a name you can trust and is a nicely designed, simple to use grooming device.

This has to be by far not one of the best shavers but one of the best products by far. Ive owned one fore about 4 years now. It still works perfect and although im sure phillips would recommend agains it I’ve only bought maybe 2 replacement heads in that time frame and use it almost every day. I charge it like once a month if that and has more life in it than a toyota. Definitely recommend if you’re in the market for one. Anyone with any negative reviews either doesnt know how to shave or have been paid by another company to thrash this majestic product.

I have mixed feelings for the Philips Norelco OneBlade 360, most of which puts me in the minority based on the reviews I have seen. On the surface, the OneBlade is high on features and low on cost. How it performs is another matter. For me, I found it only useful for touch up work around the ear and side burns. I could see the same for those who have a beard. When using the blade, it feels like is could cut or pinch you but that did not happen to me on flat skin. For other areas of the body, I would watch out . Trust me, you fill in the blanks… With that said, let’s look at the pros and cons . Pros Long battery life. The battery lasted longer than the 45 minutes than advertised. Lightweight. Main body is (not including head and attachment mechanism) built surprisingly well. Small size is good for finishing work. Inexpensive initial cost. Waterproof. Cons – You have to make several passes over the same area to remove all the hair. Where the blade attaches is very flimsy and probably will not hold up. Awkward feeling during use. Blade life is questionable, replacement blades can add up fast. The trim length attachment is nearly useless. Difficult to use and cheap. I used the Philips Norelco OneBlade 360 for a week and it is just not for me. I am not sure what the demographic is for the OneBlade 360 and what is purpose. The reason I say that is there are far better trimmers made by Philips that do a superior job in everyway and cost nearly the same. The only advantage the OneBlade 360 has is when you are doing very fine detail work. Sorry Philips, you make great products ( which I own) and this is one I do not like.

I've had this unit for... maybe 4 years now, for occasional use. While it doesn't trim as closely as a "lift & cut" system, it is Great for taking down light beards first, then finishing with a regular shaver. Of course it also works great for trimming short beards, etc., especially with the attachments.

    Kinda Clumsy and Awkward Trimmer

This OneBlade for the face tries to solve the issue of needing various cutting lengths without having to keep an assortment of different blade guides. They have come out with other more expensive variations of trimmers using the same basic style of blade, this trimmer's blade is attached to a plastic cradle of sorts that pops into the guide length adapter, which uses a tiny rather tedious little thumbwheel to raise or lower the guide for the whisker length you desire. You are better off looking at the resulting edge of the blade than the numbers on the wheel, they are that tiny. The action of this trimmer is a little clumsy, the actual head that holds the blade and adjustable guide sticks out off the end of the trimmer in a precarious way and looks easy damaged to me. Trust me--these blades do not survive a tumble to the bathroom floor. I have another Oneblade product and learned my lesson to be careful, as these replacement blades cost 50% of the price of the trimmer. It did provide a nice neat job but not what you call a slick easy device to keep a beard, 'stache or goatee neat.
