Does a very poor job shaving. Even with multiple passes, it couldn’t do a clean job. It also uses a proprietary charger.

Doesn’t work very well. I use it to trim my neck and cheeks around my beard every few days. But it’s tough to finish the job. Even with a new head it takes a long time.

Does not work very well. I have short stiff hair, I am not trying to trim a whole beard but still require 4 passes against the hair for a complete cut. Will not cut if the angle is wrong. Take too much time.

The Philips Norelco OneBlade 360 Face does a great job. It's very quiet compared to other trimmers I've owned! The main unit feels really sturdy and it's 100% waterproof, so you can use it wet or dry. It seems to do a fine job in either situation. The blade mechanism has decent contour movement. It does take a bit of practice figuring out which way to hold the unit for the best angle depending which area of your face you're trimming. I found it easiest on the front and sides. The neck area took a little playing around to figure out. The little area right under the nose I couldn't quite get the hair length to match with the way the comb sits on the blades. I had to pop the comb off and do a little fine adjustment to the length of the hairs for it to match the rest of the mustache. If you want a smooth shave in certain areas, you'll want to go over those areas with a normal shaver. When using the trimmer without the comb in the neck area under the chin I did experience a decent amount of irritation afterwards for a little while. This should lessen as my skin gets used to the new shaver. The rest of the face area was fine no irritation, so I think it's probably partly the angle of the blade I was using. The device is really light and would be quick to grab and take with in a bag while traveling. The power is a little interesting because it plugs into a USB port, but the end that plugs into the device is not USB. You'll have to supply your own USB port as no charging brick was included. The battery life with the Nimh battery is pretty good and will get you several shaves from a full charge. They say for a full charge to leave it charging for 8 hours in the manual. There is a light on the front of the device that lights up when it's charging. Replacement blades are pretty reasonably priced at 28 dollars for a 2 pack at the time of this review. I haven't had the trimmer long enough to have a good idea how before I'll need to change blades. The unit also has a little plastic cover for the blades that pops on if you want to keep the blades protected between trims. Overall, I'm pretty happy with the trimmer. For the price I think it's a great deal!

First off, I’m not someone who’s used many electric razors. I have a Philips Norelco 7000 and it’s exactly what you’d expect from an electric razor. Given this razor was less than half the price, I had pretty low expectations for this razor. I really like this product. It comes with a few heads to adjust trimming length which is a really nice feature. It’s very simple to use this razor. Personally, I prefer to shave dry and it does a great job for that. I’ve also used this razor with shaving cream and it did a fine job with that as well. Honestly, if I wanted a nice, smooth shave, a regular razor is still better than this product. But it does a fine job. But I’d probably recommend it more to people who just want a rough, quick shave. All the non-functional parts of the razor are as expected. It charges up quickly. Battery life is good. It’s a nice size, easy to store or take for travelling/etc. Can’t say I get the 360 thing though, the razor tilts a little bit but nowhere near 360. Good product though.

It is a good size for getting around the ears and fine trimming. It works pretty much like any other trimmer but with the smaller design it allows you to fine tune a little better. I have no complaints. Easy enough to figure out how to use. Nothing terribly surprising. Does not bog down, trims through nicely. Solid choice. The ability to rotate the blade is helpful to work around angles. Charge holds long enough to get the job done. It is able to get the job done in fewer passes. There is always the 45 day risk free trial to make sure it is right for you. There is a two year warranty which gives an additional sense of security. You can choose to use it wet or dry. It is waterproof and the blade is replaceable. The cord uses a usb charging cord. There are five length settings to choose from. Overall decent product. Nothing is perfect. This can help you look cleaned up and put together. Obviously best to keep things shorter and trimmed up, not for clearing up once it is long and straggly.

Great shaver but missing a few key items in the bo

With the COVD years, I was one of those men that stopped shaving regularly and grew facial hair. It was partly a new thing to try and partly just laziness. And once you grow it out, shaving even occasionally becomes an even bigger chore, its a self sustaining cycle. This shaver/trimmer though has made me like shaving again. It sounds cliche, but the ease with which I can get a clean shaven look from a full grown beard is a great trick to have in your pocket(bathroom). I have had some electric shavers before which left you feeling a cat had scratched your face, so I was pleasantly surprised by the smooth feeling I had after my first shave with this. I have tried it with and without water, and there doesn't seem to be a great deal of difference in the effect. I did try it with shaving foam once, and that was a big mistake, unlike a razor once you glid this through the foam, the foam doesn't automatically come off with the blade, it just mixes in, so its really hard to gauge what's going on under there, if I am leaving patches or getting a good clean shave. It even left multiple little nicks which caused blood to drip out. I could not feel any of it at all till I wiped it off with water, but since there was still foam after multiple rounds on the same spot, I could not guage my pressure or work clearly. I don't blame that completely on this device, but perhaps shaving foam not the best idea with this. The biggest surprise for me though is that it actually looks better than a normal razor, again I am no expert in the art of facial hair shaving, but since you move this both ways, you are shaving both with the grain and against the grain simultaneously, giving you a cleaner look. I might have to do some research if that's actually good for me in the long run. Now, coming to the accessories and the charging. All you get in the box is a USB cable without a wall adapter. So you need to have your own. Not the biggest complaint, but I hate the trend Apple has started. In the name of accessories all you get is a 5 length comb, which is just OK for different uses. Its not the best at arm pit or other sensitive areas since you can't get as close as you might want to. Overall its a good device, but you might end up needing to but a few other helping items to complete your set.

Handy and powerful, pocket sized facial trimmer

The Philips Norelco OneBlade is a handy pocket sized facial trimmer, not much larger than a conventional razor. It has a simple, ergonomic design in a color that you aren't going to lose, a fluorescent green color! It comes with a single blade, a protective case for the blade, a 5 setting trimming guide, a USB charging cable and the main unit itself. I charged the unit fully before using for the first time. Inserting the blade is very simple, slide it in place and click to secure. There is a quick release button to be able to remove and change the blades quickly as well. According to Philips, the blades last up to 4 months, based on shaving twice a week. That is about my shaving cadence, so we'll see how that works out. My initial experience, after shaving with a close wet razor for years, was a little challenged. I haven't cut myself shaving in many years now, but the very first time with this OneBlade, I did end up cutting my neck with it. Totally could have been user error, getting to grips with the new razor, but just wanted to let it be known. I've tried dry shaving and wet shaving with this OneBlade. So far the results are decent, not perfect, but decent. It does give a close shave, just not quite as close as a regular razor, and I've found that shaving my neck, I have to go over it several more times than I do with a regular razor. The packaging also states, 360 blade... technically, you can get to and use both sides of the blade, so you can get a shave both ways, but the blade does not swivel 360º if that was an assumption you may have had. It does move in and out, it pivots in place, it does rotate an amount as well. The 5 setting trimmer feels a little bit of a novelty on this razor, I am not sure I would trust it 100%. It feels like it could pop off at any moment resulting in a comedy shaving error. I will state that hasn't happened to me, but that's what it feels like with the attachment on the OneBlade. Overall, this is a nice, compact facial trimmer, enabling you to trim down an unruly beard, edge it all up and make it neat, or to shave it off. Just be careful if you are switching from a regular blade to the OneBlade, the transition may take a moment, but overall, a nice product.

I’ve used a OneBlade razor as part of my travel kit for about five years. I appreciate the small size, long life between charges, and included attachments. My only complaint about my previous OneBlade was the clip-on accessories (e.g., beard trimmer) were fixed in size, not durable, and tended to come off while in use. This version fixes this issue with an adjustable trimming blade that locks into place for use. This attachment is sturdy and simple to use, once you have it set. Note that while the setting for beard length is ostensibly a thumbwheel, I needed the leverage of a small screwdriver to adjust it. I actually prefer this, as it makes it nearly impossible for it to re-calibrate on its own during travel, meaning my beard will remain the length I intended. Another appreciated feature is the new swivel shaving head (at least it’s newer than my original model). This head pivots around your face, and I even use it to trim off ear and other unwanted hair. Whether you’re looking for a travel razor of one for your home, this is an excellent update to a product I already rely on. I strongly recommend this.
