This item definitly has its flaws. It nicks and pulls your hair, so you have to glide very slow to avoid hurting yourself. I think its unsuitable for coarser hair especially in the groon area!

Trims very close. Take several passes but does a great job.

Bought this & sent it back for a return it was UNOPENED Best Buy sent it back opened & DAMAGED & now they won't refund or send another replacement. Customer Service is awful & Not Caring. Expected better treatment from Best Buy I'm a Total Member & they are not even supporting the warranty. BEST BUY opened my UNOPENED Return & WOULD NOT REFUND OR SEND ME A NEW ONE. THEY SHOULD HAVE NOT OPENED IT & SENT IT BACK THE WAY IT WAS SENT TO BEST BUY. NOW I'M OUT OF A REFUND. IF THE ITEM WAS UN RETURNABLE EVEN UNOPENED SO BEST BUY SHOULD HAVE SENT IT BACK TO ME UNOPENED NOT OPENED & DAMAGED.

It will just slow down as an indicator before dying. -SkinProtect Blade replacements. The plastic guard can get lost and then you will not have the "intimate" part. Bought a brand new one. Opened it, tryed to get it assembled and find out the blade guard is smaller than the blade. Making it impossible to fit or use. Returned it.

When buying this, I assumed it was like the ads and what everyone else had said. A simple way to shave downstairs without worrying about cuts nicks and all that. Upon using this, I got a lot of grabs where it kinda just got stuck on my skin without actually cutting me…. HOWEVER, after continuing to shave I cut myself pretty badly with this, worse than any ofher blade or electric razor has ever cut me down there. If you’re reading this and was under the same impression I was going into this, take my advice and stick to a normal razor for a cleaner and much safer cut.

VERY UNHAPPY- ANGRY even. This thing is completely illegitimate. An awful body shaver. I got a cut on the second stroke of shaving. It should be illegal for them to call this a body shaver. At the least, it is false advertising. Completely unsafe for shaving your body, but OK for a face shaver. I would never ever in 1 million years recommend this product or buy it again. If it weren’t so ridiculous I would want to sue them for marketing it as a body and pubic shaver.

Never recieved product. Message keeps saying " delayed in transit " its been weeks, nothing takes that long to travel in this day and age.

I was looking forward to getting the Philips Norelco OneBlade Intimate Groomer. It is small, inexpensive, and rechargeable. You can even use it in the shower. It feels good in your hand, and doesn’t try to slip out when it gets wet. Out of the box it comes with a charging cord, a body comb, and a SkinProtect blade (which has a removeable 3mm guard across the top to lessen the risk of cutting or nicking yourself. It comes with enough of a charge to start using right away. As I was using it, I was pleased with the ease of use. Of course, my biggest concern was using it around those certain areas that most other razors are notorious for “biting.” My fears were relieved as I was able to complete the job with no injuries. The Philips Norelco Groomer comes with a body comb which allows for a uniform shave that is not as close as just using the blade alone. Since I don’t like shaving too close, I was pleased with this feature…in theory. In practice, however, the comb kept getting clogged and had to be cleaned several times before I gave up using it. Now, this isn’t to say it’s a bad idea, or that it is an inferior design, but it appears to be designed for folks whose body hair is not thick, or perhaps for folks who have already been using a shaver and just want to maintain a comfortable height. The SkinProtect Blade, without the comb attachment works very well. Although it didn’t “clog,” it did require going over areas several times to cut all the hair. All in all, even with the body-comb issue, the Philips Norelco OneBlade Intimate Groomer is really a great addition to your grooming kit. It doesn’t give you that “Velcro” feel, it doesn’t cut or nick, it’s quiet, and best of all its quite affordable. There is one drawback that should be mentioned, and that is that the shaving head is designed to be disposable. The replacement blades come in a two-pack which costs $30. This is the same price as the shaver itself. Yes, you do get an extra blade when buying the replacements, but for me, that's a lot of money to spend on replacement blades.

This is a great concept & I was happy to try it out because I get so irritated from shaving in my armpits. This can be used wet or dry & it’s unclear if shaving cream can be used with it. I used it dry with the skin protect blade on & my skin got very irritated & red in one spot, like I cut myself, I thought this was suppose to prevent that. The closeness was ok but not as close as I can get with a real blade. I decided to do a little ladyscaping & used the body comb attachment, that did a pretty good job taking it down to 1/8”. I was just using a small trimmer with attachment & I feel this does about the same as that with maybe slightly less irritation. The blade goes in either direction when guard is not on & you can do edging. Men or women can use it with some precautions. It’s very lightweight & only a little thicker than disposable or refillable razors. It is rechargeable & comes with its own usb cord. It’s also waterproof & the blades are suppose to last 4 months, replacement blades are a bit pricey , 2 blades cost the same as the razor itself. I don’t have to shave often so next time I’m going to try it wet & see if it’s less irritating.

I’ve never used a dedicated trimmer for those intimate areas. Always had to use a razor or clippers for down south. Both of those options were never quite good enough and always took a pretty long time because you have to be pretty careful! Enter the OneBlade! This comes with an attachment to control the length of hair. I’ve used it on the back of my arms, intimate areas, and armpits and I haven’t had a single nick or cut yet! It’s waterproof so you can use it in the shower which was the deciding factor for me. Less clean up and less mess! It’s extremely small and portable and very lightweight. It says the charge lasts 30 minutes, and I believe it. I’ve only charged it once and I’ve used it 3 times and haven’t noticed anything slowing down at all. It comes with a charging cable, body comb attachment and blade cover. The blade works flawlessly while shaving and never got bogged or slowed down at all. You can throw it in your travel bag or keep it in a bathroom drawer and no one would ever know it’s designed to be used in those intimate areas. Highly recommend and I’ll be looking at the other OneBlades for my beard as well after using this!

The Philips Norelco OneBlade Intimate Groomer is a neat lightweight body shaver that is very effective and gets the job done. No issues using it under your armpits and anywhere else that needs to be trimmed up. The trimmer only needs to be plugged in for roughly thirty minutes and it is fully charged. Once charged, I had no issues. It's also waterproof as I used it in the shower. No issues with use as the grip handle is very sturdy and not slippery once it was wet. Because of its size, it also perfect to travel with if necessary. The blades didn't nick me in any location and the blades are durable. Each blade is suppose to last for four months mininum depending on how often you use it. If there is a nitpick, this trimmer will not achieve "baby smooth" if this is your desire, but it is every close to the goal. I use it without any type of guard and it still achieved zero hair in all my desired regions. If you are looking for a lightweight,waterproof, quick charging and near baby smooth body shaver, the Philips Norelco OneBlade Intimate Groomer will get the job done and for a great price.

The Philips Norelco One blade Intimate Pubic Groomer is a great trimmer that does just what it says that it does. This trimmer is very similar to the other One blade offerings from Philips Norelco. It has the same basic shape as the others, the same basic trimmer blades, charging cable, etc. This trimmer comes with a Skin Protect Blade that keeps you from getting nicks and cuts. It is fully waterproof and is able to use shaving foam or you can shave with it dry. Once removed from the box, you'll have the trimmer, the charging cord, which is a dedicated power cord, so if you misplace it, then you're in trouble. It would have been nice to have a standard USB A or C connection. Once fully charged, the trimmer does a great job, not razor blade close, but close nonetheless. It is comfortable to hold and get to the areas that you want to trim or shave. I am very satisfied with this and at this price point, it's hard to go wrong with it. This is a great buy and overall is worth buying one to have in the collection of razors.

Pros: Safely shaves without knicks or pulling. Blade changes should be very easy. Cons: Not the cleanest shave (leaves some stubble). Requires daily “touch-up” to keep things looking tidy. I was a little apprehensive about reviewing something termed an “intimate groomer.” Shaving sensitive areas is traditionally fraught with peril, and I was anxious that this razor wouldn’t live up to its hype. Fortunately, I can safely say that this razor DOES live up to its hype. The razor’s instructions aren’t the greatest. They could stand to have more illustrations describing what the various pieces are. By default, the blade comes with a sensitive skin guard pre-installed. It took me a little bit to realize this. This guard prevents the face of the razor from connecting with your skin, and only the sides of the razor actually do any cutting with this guard on. It doesn't offer the closest shave, but it does do an excellent job of maintaining a safe and pain-free shave. The razor also comes with another guard for grooming that leaves a little bit of hair if you want to avoid the “plucked chicken” look. I wasn’t terribly impressed with this guard as it didn’t seem to cut much hair in a single pass, and it required multiple passes to get things looking nice (note: I’m a fairly hirsute individual - your mileage may vary on this front). It should be noted that since the sensitive skin guard doesn’t quite cut flush to the skin. Stubble grew back very quickly. I found that I had to touch things up daily to maintain the clean look. Out of the box, I experienced a safe and pain-free shave that looks quite nice. I’m sure that a large part of this was the fact that the blade was brand new and extremely sharp. The blade head pops out easily, and it can easily be replaced with a fresh one as it wears out. Suffice it to say, I will be stocking up on extra blades. I like this razor and would strongly recommend it.

The Phillips Norelco OneBlade (OneBlade) can handle most of your private area shaving without much fuss. The handle is easy to hold and is lightweight so you can charge it up and then use it to complete a full body shaving without fatigue. The skin protecter works like nothing I’ve ever experienced. After using it for the first time, it felt like I didn’t actually use a blade to shave. The OneBlade is made for pubic hair grooming that allows you to trim and shave under your armpits, chest and other sensitive areas as you see fit. It can be used dry or wet and can be used in the shower. I tried using it with shaving creme first and then dry for my second shaving. It’s important to stretch the skin each time you shave as it makes it much easier and yields a more effective shave. I like that the OneBlade is rechargeable and it comes with the charging cable. I also like that it will run for 30 minutes which should be enough time for a complete shave. I was able to shave twice before I thought it needed to be charged. However, I don’t like that I had to charge it for 8 hours. That’s a long charge for only 30 minutes of use. I also don’t like that the charging light doesn’t offer much more than a white light. Yes, it indicates that it’s charing, but a solid white light that sometimes blink and doesn’t change color to indicate that the battery is running low doesn’t do a lot to help the user experience. Overall, the Phillips Norelco OneBlade is a neat little shaver that’s easy to use and can be convenient for quick shaves while you shower.
