The Philips Norelco OneBlade Intimate groomer does exactly what it says: it trims body hair, either directly or through a comb attachment, safely enough for sensitive areas. It's a very simple and easy to use product with virtually no setup. Out of the box, attach the blade unit and charge it using the included USB cable. (The USB cable's end is like other electric razor charger connectors, and you'll need to supply your own power brick.) Although there is some charge out of the box, the instructions recommend give it up to about 8 hours to fully charge. It's fully wet/dry safe (though obviously without the cable), though I didn't test it wet since I don't trust myself to use any sort of razor without my glasses on.
I give it very good marks for hair removal--it takes a little time to get it right and you need to follow the recommendations on the instruction sheet for best results. The standard attachment is good for basically removing all hair, although perfectly removing all of it, versus simply trimming, would take a while. (The battery life is more than sufficient for this). If simply wanting to shorten hair, the comb attachment serves as a standoff from the blades.
It's a very compact device, so it would travel easily, although with the proprietary USB connector, you'll have to keep its cord with it. Overall, it's a very nice electric trimmer for those not wanting to deal with regular razors for body hair trimming/removal, and the included comb attachment gives it some versatility.

I was a bit skeptical when I first saw this, wondering if it truly works and, if so, if it does so without leaving things like razor burn that regular shaving can cause. I was pleasantly surprised to see that it does in fact work, and work very well at that. The product comes with everything you need which is to say you actually don't need much - charger cable, protective cover and some kind of comb attachment that I don't really have a need for. The flimsy paper instructions are typical for this type of electronic product, explaining by pictures and text exactly what you need to do to get started. The shaver makes a bit of noise when operating but it's not overly loud. As for the shave it provides, it does it so fast and easily that you actually need to stay aware as to what you're doing if you don't want to shave everything off. If you want to leave some behind, you need to pay close attention and groom / style accordingly. Clean-up is just as easy as using it is - just run it under the faucet and the hair washes away from this 100% water proof product.

Well just sharing this review after some time to get a feel for it. It has a nice clean look with a very light feel, color is white and comes with the charging usb cord. Made well durable and you don’t have to be afraid of getting it wet.
Very smooth feel and performance and strong enough cutting performance.
Batter like is extremely long as well. There is so much you can say about shavers. If you buy one that is designed for males it will work but you run the risk of more razor burns and cuts. This one can be used unisex and is just a very good quality product.
You can use this for intimate areas but also can be used for legs arms, underarms. It is very easy to clean as well. All you do is use a small brush and rinse it with lookwarm water.
At the price point it is a great value ESPECIALLY with pool and beach season so close! You don’t want to get caught with little hair buddies sticking out of wrong places right? I know I don’t! So buy it use it and you won’t regret it. I recommend

The first thing I noticed about the OneBlade is that it really doesn't look like an electric shaver. with the thin flexible head and narrow handle, it looks a lot more like the venerable safety razor than anything else. The second thing I noticed was just how little heft there was to it. I've gotten used to most electric razors feeling solid in the hand, with contoured grips and large batteries. After that the OneBlade almost felt like a toy, a cheap stopgap to pick up at the local pharmacy after you forgot to pack your usual shaving kit. Then, after using it for a few days, I noticed a third thing: this is probably the best electric razor I've ever used.
Turns out that sometimes taking a much simpler approach is better. The thin cutting head and lightweight design makes this a lot easier to maneuver, particularly important when trimming some of the more fragile areas of the human body. The lack of complex safety combs or foils allows for a close, completely smooth shave and very easy cleaning. It works just as well pushing into hair as it does pulling over it. All in all it feels a lot more like shaving using a manual razor than an electric shaver/trimmer, just without the risk of bloodloss if you slip up.
It's not entirely perfect. Cutting yourself is certainly difficult with this thing (particularly with the white comb attached, which cuts down on friction and bunching a little without getting in the way of getting a close shave) but it's not impossible. And while the extremely tiny blades aren't likely to ever do serious damage getting something pinched in there can definitely sting. The blade is also only rated for four months of use - shorter than pretty much any electric razor I've used before. But given how poorly most groomers tend to perform (usually while costing significantly more) I'd say it's closer than anything else I've found. More annoying to me is the fact that there isn't any kind of carrying case included. The unit comes with a safety cover for the blade, two safety combs, and a charging cable and it took me less than a day to lose track of one of the combs and the charger (though fortunately it's using the same kind of plug as most of the Norelco line.) I'd be fine losing the plastic blade protector and getting a hard case, or even just a little drawstring bag, to help keep track of all the parts. But the way I see it if I can stick an electrified blade between my legs for several days and come away with my only complaint being "they didn't give me a bag" Philips is doing a lot of things right. It's an easy recommendation for anyone looking to cut down on some unwanted body hair with a minimum of fuss.

This isn't my first OneBlade device, and I personally think they keep getting better and safer.
This particular version of the OneBlade seems to be marketed at hair below the belt. And yes, I gave it a shot.
My first impressions were overall good. The shaver cut hair adequately and the skin guard did a great job at protecting the important stuff.
It was also supremely easy to handle. The handle is a great shape and weight for getting into the those hard to reach spots. And the blade is bi-directional, so you can shave to and fro.
I've had no issue with the OneBlade's battery, as it has always lasted the entire length of my shave. One update I'd love to see on OeBlade devices would be a switch to USB-C charging. The included charging cable is a USB-C to proprietary adapter, and that's crummy.
I also wish the OneBlade would do a better job of releasing cut hair from the razor after cutting. Trimming hair with a OneBlade takes a lot longer than trimming with a more traditional trimmer. Hair clogs the shaver and prevents new hairs from hitting the blade. So then you have to stop and shake out the shaver. It's not life or death, but just a quirk of all OneBlade devices.

Just ok but not as close as manual

The unboxing experience was straightforward, with just the razor and a USB cable included. Initially, I was intrigued by the concept, expecting it to provide a smoother shave than my manual razor. However, after giving it a few tries, I found that it didn't quite deliver. I ended up needing my manual razor for touch-ups.
In terms of performance, the razor provided a shave that was neither overly rough nor particularly fast. Unfortunately, it didn't manage to achieve the same level of closeness as my trusty manual razor. While it might appeal to those looking to avoid the open blades of traditional razors, its design made it somewhat tricky to use on certain areas like the knees.
One thing worth noting is that despite coming with user-friendly instructions and a USB cable for charging, the razor lacks a stand for storage. This means it has to be placed on a counter or in the shower, which isn't always convenient. Considering its subpar performance, the price tag might be a bit hard to justify.

I was pleasantly surprised with how easy this was to use. I've never used any of the "one blade" products before, so I was concerned about doing something incorrectly when it comes to holding a cutting implement in a sensitive area, but the guards are effective and even with the first use I only nicked myself slightly once.
TO USE: Just put on the guard you want to use, and hold the device at a 90-degree angle to the skin. Basically, as if the flat of the blade would be on the skin if the guard wasn't there. Rinse off when done.
Minor Criticisms: They include a travel cover, a skin-level guard, and a longer guard. Nice! (criticism 1) If you're traveling, presumably you use one of the guards, but the travel cover only fits over the blade itself, not the cover. So, you're traveling with this thing in a nice little package, and a very small, light-weight guard floating around in your luggage where it might easily be lost. (criticism 2) While you can get close to the skin, much closer than I imagined, it is not as smooth as an actual razor. I think this is likely acceptable based on the lack of blood-loss...

Decent Shaver for Downstairs...

I, most likely like many men struggle to find the right razor to shave down there. We don't want to use the razors that are designed to shave and trim our faces, not only because it's gross to be doing both with the same razor... but they just are designed for different hair! I was intrigued to see that Philips released a public groomer finally, they do have their original oneblade, which I did attempt to use downstairs, and it did NOT work that well. Luckily, they introduced this product to meet that need. And while it does do a good job at trimming to a manageable length with the body comb attachment, I find that the close shave feature with just the white skinguard, it definitely still can knick you and cut you, which it did to me. I followed the instructions, which to be honest, they are not very well written. Trying to read the instructions is a challenge in itself, I don't know who designed the pamphlet but it is not user friendly. They have weird diagrams and pictures of how to shave yourself, but no real instructions. Even with stretching out the skin and going with the grain first and against, still got just as many knicks as other razors have given me.
I recommend this for trimming, but if you want a closer shave, use at your own risk. Also, I absolutely hate how it is 2024 and Philips is still using proprietary charging cables for their razors... I have at least 6 of these cords and they are all different!! Why can't they just adapt a type-c or even if they must, a micro-usb charging capability?!

Poor Cut and blade heads weren't comfortable

The trimmer was easy to setup and get started. It has a regular head and a raised guard for different lengths.
The trimmer is difficult to get a close smooth cut, and is not as easy to use as my previous beard trimmer style device. I would recommend a trimmer with fixed guards.
The trimmer comes with a charging cord, no charging block, a smooth guard and a raised guard.
The main issues with the oneblade trimmer is it requires the blade to be placed flat against the skin to get a close cut. However, the close guard does not provide enough protection and it feels as though the blades may cut your private areas (due to folds and other areas). If you keep the blade head raised in any way it will give you an uneven cut and defeats the purpose.
I have not tried the raised green guard since I was looking for a trim closer than it would provide.
I believe this trimmer may work ok for smoother areas like the thighs or below your stomach, but did not feel comfortable using on my pubic area.
The charge seemed fine after initial charge and I had no issues with the battery running out.
I would not recommend this product.

Safe Manscaping Comes to OneBlade

When it comes to personal grooming, especially in sensitive areas, having the right tool makes all the difference. As someone looking for a smooth and safe trimming experience this groomer offered a carefull pruning without causing damage. The design of this groomer is particularly thoughtful. It features a blade cover that acts like a safety shield, ensuring that the blade only touches the hairs you want to trim. Interestingly, the blade is the same as a regular OneBlade, with the addition of a thin white cover. This simplicity suggests that the cover could easily be sold as an additional accessory for other OneBlade products. One difference though is it seems like this groomer uses lower RPM even fully charged. This might seem like a downside at first, but it's actually beneficial for delicate areas. As one who tends to groom away from home, the lower RPMs won’t prevent you from also using on your face, after a thorough rinse of course. At the end of the day I came away thoroughly impressed by the razor and highly recommend!
