This isn't my first OneBlade device, and I personally think they keep getting better and safer.
This particular version of the OneBlade seems to be marketed at hair below the belt. And yes, I gave it a shot.
My first impressions were overall good. The shaver cut hair adequately and the skin guard did a great job at protecting the important stuff.
It was also supremely easy to handle. The handle is a great shape and weight for getting into the those hard to reach spots. And the blade is bi-directional, so you can shave to and fro.
I've had no issue with the OneBlade's battery, as it has always lasted the entire length of my shave. One update I'd love to see on OeBlade devices would be a switch to USB-C charging. The included charging cable is a USB-C to proprietary adapter, and that's crummy.
I also wish the OneBlade would do a better job of releasing cut hair from the razor after cutting. Trimming hair with a OneBlade takes a lot longer than trimming with a more traditional trimmer. Hair clogs the shaver and prevents new hairs from hitting the blade. So then you have to stop and shake out the shaver. It's not life or death, but just a quirk of all OneBlade devices.

Just ok but not as close as manual

The unboxing experience was straightforward, with just the razor and a USB cable included. Initially, I was intrigued by the concept, expecting it to provide a smoother shave than my manual razor. However, after giving it a few tries, I found that it didn't quite deliver. I ended up needing my manual razor for touch-ups.
In terms of performance, the razor provided a shave that was neither overly rough nor particularly fast. Unfortunately, it didn't manage to achieve the same level of closeness as my trusty manual razor. While it might appeal to those looking to avoid the open blades of traditional razors, its design made it somewhat tricky to use on certain areas like the knees.
One thing worth noting is that despite coming with user-friendly instructions and a USB cable for charging, the razor lacks a stand for storage. This means it has to be placed on a counter or in the shower, which isn't always convenient. Considering its subpar performance, the price tag might be a bit hard to justify.

Works really well. Nice close shave. The only reason i gave 4 stars is because the battery does not last long.

Very easy to use, and no real cutting of yourself!

I was pleasantly surprised with how easy this was to use. I've never used any of the "one blade" products before, so I was concerned about doing something incorrectly when it comes to holding a cutting implement in a sensitive area, but the guards are effective and even with the first use I only nicked myself slightly once.
TO USE: Just put on the guard you want to use, and hold the device at a 90-degree angle to the skin. Basically, as if the flat of the blade would be on the skin if the guard wasn't there. Rinse off when done.
Minor Criticisms: They include a travel cover, a skin-level guard, and a longer guard. Nice! (criticism 1) If you're traveling, presumably you use one of the guards, but the travel cover only fits over the blade itself, not the cover. So, you're traveling with this thing in a nice little package, and a very small, light-weight guard floating around in your luggage where it might easily be lost. (criticism 2) While you can get close to the skin, much closer than I imagined, it is not as smooth as an actual razor. I think this is likely acceptable based on the lack of blood-loss...

Decent Shaver for Downstairs...

I, most likely like many men struggle to find the right razor to shave down there. We don't want to use the razors that are designed to shave and trim our faces, not only because it's gross to be doing both with the same razor... but they just are designed for different hair! I was intrigued to see that Philips released a public groomer finally, they do have their original oneblade, which I did attempt to use downstairs, and it did NOT work that well. Luckily, they introduced this product to meet that need. And while it does do a good job at trimming to a manageable length with the body comb attachment, I find that the close shave feature with just the white skinguard, it definitely still can knick you and cut you, which it did to me. I followed the instructions, which to be honest, they are not very well written. Trying to read the instructions is a challenge in itself, I don't know who designed the pamphlet but it is not user friendly. They have weird diagrams and pictures of how to shave yourself, but no real instructions. Even with stretching out the skin and going with the grain first and against, still got just as many knicks as other razors have given me.
I recommend this for trimming, but if you want a closer shave, use at your own risk. Also, I absolutely hate how it is 2024 and Philips is still using proprietary charging cables for their razors... I have at least 6 of these cords and they are all different!! Why can't they just adapt a type-c or even if they must, a micro-usb charging capability?!

Poor Cut and blade heads weren't comfortable

The trimmer was easy to setup and get started. It has a regular head and a raised guard for different lengths.
The trimmer is difficult to get a close smooth cut, and is not as easy to use as my previous beard trimmer style device. I would recommend a trimmer with fixed guards.
The trimmer comes with a charging cord, no charging block, a smooth guard and a raised guard.
The main issues with the oneblade trimmer is it requires the blade to be placed flat against the skin to get a close cut. However, the close guard does not provide enough protection and it feels as though the blades may cut your private areas (due to folds and other areas). If you keep the blade head raised in any way it will give you an uneven cut and defeats the purpose.
I have not tried the raised green guard since I was looking for a trim closer than it would provide.
I believe this trimmer may work ok for smoother areas like the thighs or below your stomach, but did not feel comfortable using on my pubic area.
The charge seemed fine after initial charge and I had no issues with the battery running out.
I would not recommend this product.

When it comes to personal grooming, especially in sensitive areas, having the right tool makes all the difference. As someone looking for a smooth and safe trimming experience this groomer offered a carefull pruning without causing damage. The design of this groomer is particularly thoughtful. It features a blade cover that acts like a safety shield, ensuring that the blade only touches the hairs you want to trim. Interestingly, the blade is the same as a regular OneBlade, with the addition of a thin white cover. This simplicity suggests that the cover could easily be sold as an additional accessory for other OneBlade products. One difference though is it seems like this groomer uses lower RPM even fully charged. This might seem like a downside at first, but it's actually beneficial for delicate areas. As one who tends to groom away from home, the lower RPMs won’t prevent you from also using on your face, after a thorough rinse of course. At the end of the day I came away thoroughly impressed by the razor and highly recommend!
