I’m 64 years old this is my third Norelco shaver in my lifetime. My last one was an 8894 XL and I really liked it. The only problem was the batteries got bad and wouldn’t charge and the display started going bad I was starting to burn my face probably needed new cutters but with all the other problems that it had it wasn’t worth repairing I opted for this one. The only problem I find is that it is expensive. Doesn’t come with a stand and doesn’t come with a head cover other than that it gives an exceptionally close shave with no razor burn. The new blades are nicer than the old lift and cut.

Easy to use and shave is close. Cleanup is a snap. Love the charging base. Only issue is trimmer requires an attachment. I liked the pop up feature on my old razor. A bit pricy

I never thought I would have strong feelings about a razor, one way or the other, but this thing is great. I have extremely sensitive skin and shaving with a blade razor left my face red, irritated, and painful for 3-4 DAYS after shaving. With the S9000, I use the same methods as before (water, shaving cream, post-shave balm), and have no irritation at all. None whatsoever. There is slightly more stubble left after shaving than with a blade razor, but it is negligible and more than a fair trade-off for me.

Philips Norelco have created an amazing electric shaver. It’s waterproof and can be used while taking a shower. The various settings help depending on closeness of shaves. The trimming piece is nice if my beard gets too long after growing it out. I can trim it and then switch back to the normal shaving head to finish the rest. The battery last a long time and the wireless charging pad is very cool and efficient. This electric shaver shaves very close, so be careful around your lips. You can’t go wrong with a top quality shaver like this.

Shaver shaves well dry and wet. Easy to recharge. Plus it includes a easy to use trimmer.

Does give a very close shave. If you are switching from razor blades to electric, it will take a few days getting used to this. The rotating cutters are quite sharp and different from the previous lift and cut type of cutters. For a dry shave use pre-electric shaving solution before shaving for smooth gliding of the cutters. Wireless charging is a big plus. This is the best of all the Norelco shavers I have used in the past 20+ years. A bit expensive but you are getting the best.

I've used Norelco shavers for more than 45 years and have always bought the top of the line model. The S9000 is the best one I've ever had. The multiple speeds are good for longer growth and the charging pad is terrific. The shave time is greater than the advertised 60 minutes for a full charge. The only thing I'm not aware of as yet is whether this model can be used with the cleaning system available for one of the other 9000 models. I would highly recommend this model.

Great shaver and quite easy to clean. The charge lasts for many shaves before it needs to be charged again.

This shaver is above all else! I was pretty skeptical as I have used Norelco and Braun shavers in the past but while deployed, shaving every day, my single blade was causing irritation and taking too long. The first day I used it, my face felt a little dry but after that, superb! I couldn't be happier. Yes, it isn't cheap, but what is it worth to have an excellent shave with no irritation? Cool design, and the charging is great!

I bought this to give my face a break from traditional razors twice a week and on weekends. Shave is almost as close as a manual shave and doesn’t cause razor bumps for me. Very quiet and the battery life is great; also, the magnetic charger is very convenient at home.

This is probably my fourth Norelco shaver but the best by far. I know it is expensive but I have never had such a close shave, even from a blade. And I also shave my whole head daily!! The battery is amazing as my first charge last almost three weeks even with using it on my head and the Qi charger is so convenient. I highly recommend this shaver!!

I got to replace my 9300 series electric shaver that quit working. This is my third Phillips shaver and is by far the best. It gives a nice clean shave, comes with wireless charging, is easy to clean and has great case to store the shaver.. I like it very much, it is a little expensive but well worth the money.

I was a bit concerned reading several Amazon reviews - I genuinely believe several of those reviewers had received counterfeit products from 3rd party sellers so I purchased from Best Buy as there’s more reliability. Pros: closest shave I’ve ever had with an electric. Zero razor burn (previously I had used a Braun and a Panasonic) ease of use, charging and cleaning. Design - the thing is beautiful. Cons: Price. It’s a spicy meatball however genuinely believe in this case you’re getting the value for the price. TBD: I run this every other day and after a months use blades are still sharp and still getting a clean, quick and painless shave. If the blades hold up for the advertised 6-12 months then this is a 10/10 purchase. If less maybe it loses a star but very happy with this purchase.

I had a previous Norelco triple head shaver that I had since easily, the early 2000's. When the heads went bad, I knew that Norelco had been through several refinement and improvement iterations of their shavers that I had resisted the replacement urge with the fact that my current shaver was still doing a good enough job. When the heads went and I evaluated the cost of replacement, which was nearly the cost of getting a whole new Norelco shaver in the middle of their line, I decided to read up and learn about their newest flagship shaver and take a swing for the fences, realizing that grooming equipment is an investment in yourself, and ultimately, I like to invest once and then enjoy the life of the investment. Needless to say, I am living my best shaving life with my upgrade. Totally satisfied and love the wireless charging... Just set it down on the charging pad. Being a Tech Professional... It totally fits my lifestyle!

This electric shaver is expensive. But its the only one that has work on my face. My beard is thicker and the only way i could get close shave was with a hand razor. I use it dry it seems to work best that way at max speed.

I was very skeptical to buy such an expensive shaver. Most shavers take forever to shave close. After several days without shaving I usually have to use the trimmer shaver first to get the length down before using the regular shaving head. Most pull on the hair causing an uncomfortable and painful experience. After seeing reviews of the shaver and the claim that you can go 7 days without shaving, I decided to try it out Best decision I have ever made!!! My first shave with it was with 5 or 6 days beard growth. Wow! Shaved quickly without going over the same areas over and over. No pulling what so ever. Easy to clean. If you are on the fence, my advice-just go buy it. I couldn't be happier with this shaver.
