Really fast shaver and I love the angles it can get to. It gets most of the hair under my jaw line and neck area, however the one drawback is that it doesn’t do as well on my mustache which is a pretty thick for me. Having the wireless charger is great to never think about plugging in anymore. The battery is crazy long and lasts about 100 minutes on max speed on one full charge. Medium and lower speeds are great to have when trying to prevent cuts when doing a quick short shave.

Have been using these Phillips Norelco razers for years and always get the best results. Very smooth shaves and very quiet and very easy to clean. Cost is little high, but you get what you pay for here. Dan

So last summer I started working from home a lot and thus I wasn't shaving as much as I used to. I used to shave daily(minus weekends and now I'm shaving only 2 or 3 times a week and thus my beard is longer when I go to shave every 2/3 days. I had the Panasonic Arc 5 and it did a very nice job on the short hair when I shaved daily. But lately, it has been chewing up my neck(even after new blades) and wasn't doing a good job at picking up the longer whiskers(from not shaving every day). I'd have to make many passes, especially on the neck, thus giving me some serious razor burn. After reading some reviews about how it glides easy and the claims by Philips that it can handle longer hairs, I reluctantly decided to give it a try(I have used foil razors for 20 years). I have to say, I am glad I did. With these new blades they have for this model(redesigned from the original 9000 series), I get as close a shave as I was with the Panasonic, in faster time and it is MUCH gentler on my neck and face overall, The other thing it is better for is, I have a goatee and surprisingly, when shaving, I can get closer to the edge of my goatee, without fear of it grabbing hairs from the goatee. With the foil, I'd have to do a lot of extra clean up work around my goatee, with a trimmer. I really thought I'd have more, not less issues, with a rotary. While I will miss a cleaning base, I won't miss it breaking after a year and the extra cost of the cleaning solutions. My complaints about this is there is is not stand or plastic blade cover AT ALL, only the charging pad. For the price, I'd have liked at least a simple stand to place it in, when it doesn't need charging, so it can dry. I'm not gonna drop it in the case when the head it wet from cleaning. I'm also surprised there's no blade cover either. All in all, this is a great razor and works for me and my not every day shaving habit, even coming from 20+ years using a foil. But their lack of usable accessories like a simple stand and blade cover, plus, what seems like a bit of a gimmick Qi charging, make the price a bit tough to justify.

The battery last long i only charged it 5x and i use it 4 times a week. have had it for 2 years

Excellent shaver. I use it to shave my head, and always gets a close comfortable shave dry or wet. The Qi wireless charger is a bit excessive, but definitely convenient and I never have to worry about running out of battery.

This is an amazing Razer. if you are looking for the best rotary razer this is it hands down! Charge with included wireless charging pad. To clean its simple. Rinse under water or turn on while head is in water. For Shaving I never get ANY razer bumps, or red marks and I have extremely sensitive skin so if that is you, go for this razer. Will also cut through weeks worth of beard no issue. If you have never tried Rotary give this a go and if you are a Rotary guy this is the best out. Give it a try you will be happy you did.

I have always been a Norelco user and over the years they have gotten better, but this is a quantum leap. My previous Norelco just died after many years, and although I always bought their top-of-the-line shaver, the price on this one gave me pause. I used a blade for awhile just to give it a fair chance, but I finally tired of the ritual - wet your face , apply foam, stroke , rinse, etc. I took the plunge and bought the one with the wireless charger. This thing shaves me better than the blade and way better than my old Norelco. It even gets the one spot on my neck that no blade or shaver ever could!! I don't review many things, but this shaver desrves a 5 star review. Simply, the best and closest shave I have ever had. Keep up the great work Phillips!

It feels solid, it's quiet and it shaves well. 12-14 days between charges. One of the best shavers I have ever had. And is made in Holland, the home of the original Phillips shavers. Recommended!!

For an electric razor, this shaves close. In addition to a close shave, it is durable. The blades themselves lasted longer than recommended.

I really like this shaver, it shaves quick and I really like the pivot and triple head. It doesn’t shave as close as my Braun Series 9, or as close as a razor, but it does a nice job.

This is a review from my brother for whom this was a gift: "This was a Christmas gift as I had asked for a new razor. Little did I know that this would be a top of the line razor from a brand I had used throughout my life. I'm not a tech person but the wireless charging pad is a nice touch compared to those little contact points for charging. The new razor heads do much better than the old ones and the display is easy to read, even when I'm not wearing my glasses. As for performance, this is the best razor with the closest shave I can get, which I need for medical school rotations to comply with guidelines."

I’ve used a number of shavers hoping to find the perfect one. My job requires a clean shave, so I needed something I could use every day without irritating my skin but would also provide a smooth, quality shave. This fits the bill. The wireless charging setup was not a selling feature for me, but I must admit, it is convenient and easy, and I’ve grown to like it. This shaver is ideal and it is worth the investment. It works just as well after not shaving all weekend with a 3-day beard. I highly recommend this.

The personell at Best Buy in Huntsville AL are great, thats why we go there when we need a computer, I give this store an A+ on knowledge. BUT....this stupid review they ask for looks like it was written by a 3rd grade child....stupidest thing I have ever seen. I been in managment for 15 yrs and have never seen such a wishy-washy so called questionaire in my life. It looks like todays school test, there is not wrong answer and they can make it into whatever they want, just like todays governmant laws and leadership!!! Has this country become that soft!!!!

Extremely quiet, quick and close shave. I absolutely love the quick charge pad. Nice feature for this shaver. Very satisfied with the product thus far!

I switched to Rotary for a smooth shave and less noise several years ago. I’ve been very satisfied with all previous rotary shavers but this one is so much better. It is actually quieter and gives a closer, smoother shave. Proof for me is how long after the shave I can feel my whiskers growing back. Previously it was only after a few hours. With this shaver, it was several more hours. Bottom line, a thorough, close, SMOOTH shave is the result of using this shaver. Of course remember, slow circular movements make for an excellent shave !

Amazing shaver highly recommend it I have for almost a year now and work like brand new

Gives the closest shave ever! This is what other folks are finding out! It has a premium price up front, but my previous premium shaver lasted 10 years! Still gave excellent rating on value: Read further for reasons. Batteries still works on old, but what made me buy new one is I can't get new blades-lol. Hope this model will have blades as long as possible or longer. If I get 10 year battery life or blades, well the price is next to nothing. Will wait and see.
