Upgraded from Norelco S9721. I've had the S9721 for years, and gone through several shaver heads, and jet clean cleaner units. The cleaner units only seem to last about a year before they either quit working or just don't pump the solution anymore. Philips Norelco must have steered away from the jetclean system as any new razor doesn't use it anymore. I like the ability to now wirelessly charge the razor rather than fumble with a wire, plus the wireless charging pad is usb-based so you won't have to take a special power supply when you travel.

I've had 2 other electric shavers before. Norelco (old model) that my grandfather gave me many years ago. A Remington Foil Shaver that a friend gave me (employee free give away from Remington) and now this Norelco s9000. I really disliked the Remington and glad I when back to the Norelco. This is my first "paid" for Electric Shaver and I'm glad I went top of the line. The battery so far has lasted over a month (per my shaving) I can expect the blades lasting longer than documented.

I have owned several shavers over my 4 decades of shaving but this is the best one. Easy to charge, holds a good long charge, smooth shave, and quiet.

Good close shave. Easy to use and clean. Changing between razor head and trimmer is easy as well.

This is the best electric razor I have ever owned. It shaves just as close as a blade and no razor burn. The charge lasts a very long time, more than a month shaving everyday.

This has redefined my shaving experience. I’m bald and also shave my head so finding the tool is key. I’ve always used Wahl trimmers and have never gotten a great shave. This is a major leap forward. The three rollers get all the whiskers that hide in tough places. It’s comfortable and efficient. It’s sold and easy to clean. An excellent piece of design and engineering, form meets function. Can’t believe I waited this long to realize that Im worth the investment.

Upgraded from a 3 year old model. Love the shave on this new razor. Glides over the face easily. The trimmer that comes with it is fairly basic which is fairly disappointing given the cost of this razor. Similarly based on the cost, feel that replacement blades should be cheaper.

Works almost as good as conventional/blade razor. Battery last forever and cleaning is easy.

Love this shaver! I have sensitive skin and it doesn't irritate. Smooth finish, speed adjustment, easy to clean & great wet or dry!

Works well with a smooth shave everytime. It holds a charge well too and comes with a nice case to store it and the wireless charger in also.

Good shave and battery life seems pretty good. It is a bit expensive and having to attach the trimmer is inconvenient. Nice case when you have to travel. The AC adapter is a little big for sink counter top charging.

I have used Philips Norelco razors for years. With each new model there seemed to be little if any real improvement. I still miss the built in sideburn cutter. However, the new S9000 Prestige razor is a big step up. Wireless charging and shave head that performs well along with good ergonomics (feels good in the hand) make for a great new razor. I do miss having a small travel case as I would never use the behemoth that it comes with. Don't know about battery life yet, but I think it will be comparable with previous models,

I was intrigued by the ability to shave using an electric shaver in the shower, and looked at some of their options but decided to wait for this new one to arrive and pre-ordered it. So far it has exceeded my expectations, and works amazing! I use it to shave my entire head as well as my face, and it gives me a shave almost as close as a razor, very quickly and without ever cutting myself. Highly recommended.

It gives a very close, very fast and comfortable shave. Excellent battery life. Cordless charger is also fast and convenient.

Wow!! This shaver reduced my shaving time in more than half time (depending on how long my beard is at the moment). This shaver is great for dry or wet shaving, top technology. A full battery charge has shaved me 3 times already and still has battery. I upgraded to this shaver from a 50-70 dlls Philips shaver the lasted me 5 years and I’m happy with this purchase so far.

S9000 Electric Shaver is very quiet ( vs previous shaver) and the results was a very smooth result-wireless charging is a bonus.

I have only owned Phillips Norelco electric shavers so I am not going to compare the S9000 Prestige Qi-charge to any other brands. The S9000 Prestige Qi-charge has performed well. I like the charging pad instead of my old cleaning / charging unit. It is easier to clean, very quiet and I like that the replacement head for the shaver is per year (my old Phillips Norelco was much shorter) The dark brushed chrome looks good too.
