    Lightweight and Shaves Clean

As someone who has been a longtime fan of the Philips Norelco line, I will say that this model lives up to my expectations. So far it is the most lightweight model I have tried. Included in the box are the shaver, a protective cap for the shaver, a travel pouch, a USB charger, and a manual. The shaver itself with a pop- trimmer on the back side of it. When it is popped up, both shaver and trimmer will run concurrently. I used it first to trim down my long hairs before going in with the shaver head to clean up. The result was a close clean shave. My wife tried the shaver on her legs, and she loved it so much that she might try to steal it from me. The shaver charges in 1 hour and has 50 minutes of run time, so it lasts well over a week for me. It is really easy to clean, just pop up the shaver and trimmer and put in under running water to get all of the hairs out. The manual does note that there is a three-week adaptation period for the skin and beard to get used to a new method of shaving. So, while my shave was great, they should improve even further in a few weeks. Overall, I am pleased with the results I get with this shaver, its quality, and the included items.

Stylish razor, hits all the basics

Summary: The Philips Norelco 2600 is a good electric razor that keeps a stylish look while performing well. I would say it is more basic in terms of the range of options, but it has all the things that are important. I really like the sea foam green color. Pros: -Stylish -Well built -Works great Cons: -USB-A charging -No Charger -Basic accessories Unboxing: Inside the box you will find the razor, a USB-A charging cable (the other end is a typical Norelco plug), travel pouch, razor cover, and documentation. The razor feels like high quality plastic and has a nice rubber grip under the head. The rear is a bit more slippery but has a diamond texture to help with grip. There is no power adapter included. Use: My unit came uncharged, so it took a few hours to charge with the low wattage USB-A cable. The power indicator flashes when charging and stays steady, then turns off when charged. The box advertises one shave after five minutes of charging or 50 minutes of use after a one-hour charge. The battery is NiMH for anyone curious. The first shave was just as good as any Norelco razor I have used before. The three heads swivel with their 4D flex head design. I was happy to see the rear has a pop-up trimmer built in. It can be used when wet or dry. Cleaning: Keeping the unit clean is easy, simply pop open the head and rinse. I would recommend you get a small brush to keep it clean down the road and get out small particles.

The Philips Norelco Shaver 2600 is an entry-level or budget wet-dry shaving system from Philips Norelco. Overall the Norelco Shaver 2600 is not much different than other shavers from Philips. One thing though is that functionality wise it does not fall far behind other models. First of all, the build quality is nothing to write home about. It is made from plastic but still has a rubber coating. Do note that other Norelco shavers are made from plastic but this specific model seems to be of lesser quality. That said, it is still a wet and dry shaver. It has a decent if not long battery life. Once fully charged, the shaver can operate for approximately 50 minutes which is actually quite long. Charging the shaver is done through a proprietary USB-A cable. However, I wish Philips have just used an ordinary USB cable whether Type B or Type C. Also, a power charging plug is not included. But then again this now applies to all Philips Norelco shavers. Powering on the shaver is pretty straightforward. Just push the button. But unlike other models, it has only on power setting. Also, there is no power meter but the unit flashes just in case power is low. It also has a pop up beard trimmer which is a nice touch. And lastly it comes with a travel pouch. And while it is not a hardshell type of case, the canvas like material is enough to protect the unit. And finally, while the Philips Norelco Shaver 2600 is ot premium model, it pretty is capable. As such, I am recommending this in spite of being a lower end model.

    My Travel Companion

The 2600 Series shaver is a perfect travel companion, and I knew this the second I unboxed it. It is visibly smaller than the other Philip Norelco model that I currently own, and much lighter too. With the included carrying case to keep hair clippings contained, it only made sense that it took a right hand seat on my carry on baggage. The performance of the 2600 is nothing new to me; Philips Norelco has given me very comfortable shaves daily. I shave both my face as well as my head (they say bald is beautiful and I do embrace it) and it is the closest I can get to a razor without the nicks and cuts! The 4D flex heads have no problems contouring to my face and scalp, and hair tugs are virtually non-existent (I mean, you can’t just shave your face like you’re swinging a baseball bat). It does have a pop-up trimmer for trimming your mustache and sideburns, but I never really found that part very good due to the timer not locking in place as you are only able to trim in one direction. It is also a wet/dry variant, but I only partake in the dry activities when it comes to shaving. Battery life is about 35-40 minutes, depending on how much percentage of your DNA is bear and the toughness of the fibers you produce. The 2600 doesn’t really have much as far as battery life indication as it will only begin to flash white when your battery is low. As for my grievances, I only have two. Number One: the charge cable is still a proprietary plug and I would have loved, loved, loved to see a standardized USB-C connection so I have one less cable to carry around. Number Two: There is a plastic cover that protects the heads during storage and travel; if you try to unlatch the cover from the bottom corner, it also unlatches the head itself and you’ll find all your hair falling all over. So I have to be mindful to “pull” away the cover as a whole.

    A Great Value Shaver

A wonderful lightweight shaver with a bonus. Philips Norelco makes some of the best shavers you can buy. This one will not break your wallet and will get the job done. It is very lightweight with a comfortable grip. It has three blade heads which can easily be cleaned and replaced. It also comes with a cover to protect the blades. The first shave was a smooth one. I didn't use any shaving cream. My hair was medium thick and curly. The shaver didn't grab or pull any of my longer hairs out. Nor did it leave my skin rough and break out afterward. Not bad for a shaver because some expensive versions have done that. It came dead on arrival and charged in an hour and 15 minutes or so. It even comes with a pouch to store it and travel with. The bonus is it comes with a second blade that is on the back. This is for edging up and lining up. I didn't expect that. It can easily be cleaned out by pressing the "open" button. Clean-up is a breeze by rinsing the blades off. It does charge with a USB cable. It also uses the same charging cable other Philips Norelco shavers use.

Triple header shaver , wet or dry

My first impression is the shaver is light, looks nice with a green blue plastic body. The triple head design's footprint seems slightly smaller than my older 5000 series shaver. I like the new USB charging cable. I can easily charge it on the go when required, no extra charging transformer cube to lug around. It quick charges in as little as 15 minutes for those days when the battery decides to come up depleted. I do know from experience that the first week of shaving may not feel as close or clean when switching from a blade to the electric shaver. I don't seem to have that problem with my 5000 series shaver. I tried it without any lubrication on the first day. Clean, but manly. Next day I opted for my standard "lectra shave" conditioning lotion. Better, but not quite there yet. I'll give it a week and see. I would expect the closeness to slowly resume as my face adjusts. What i really like is being able to take it with me and "clean up" before a date night or in the evening when going out. It's nice to have a smooth clean appearance. When my girls were small, I remember coming home from work, one of them feeling my face and looking strangely at me, as a days growth can be rough from what they remember when I left saying goodbye in the morning. The blades need replacement like any shaver in a year or so. Only $25.00 most places. Easy to do. The side burn trimmer works well too. Super easy to maintain, just open the head and rinse under the tap. set aside to dry. An overnight charge returns about 50 minutes of shave time. Good for two weeks of shaving.

I am a long time user of Philips Norelco electric shavers. This one keeps the same aesthetic they normally use, which means it is comfortable to hold and well-balanced. One of its advantages is that you can use it wet or dry, making it easy to clean with just water. That said, I believe it works best when fully dry. It comes with a pouch and plastic cover for the heads. They also got rid of the charging block and included just a USB cable. That's probably for the better, but it leaves you looking for a usb outlet or block. The shaver works as expected and does a good job, but not spectacular. The motor has a particular whiny, higher pitched noise, so perhaps the revolutions are higher on this model. This model has the usual trimmer which also works as expected, and if you are looking for a skin shave, I'd recommend using the trimmer first to make the shaver's job easier. If you are looking for a budget-friendly, dependable electric shaver/razor, look no further. Just keep realistic expectations.

I have always been one that uses electric razers all my life. I am always interested in trying multiple sytles and sizes as my facial hairs are thick and difficult to cut. I use to use Norelco a ton in the past however their products lately seem to have lost its flexibility on jaw frame styes. Right out of the box , it is very easy to setup, just plug it in to charge then it is good to go. I do recommend to register the product which Norelco makes it very easy to go through. The charge cord is USB without the brick so be sure to have something that you can plug the USB cord in to charge. There is a platic cap to cover the blades, just be sure to put it on the right way otherwise it will not snap on right. There is also a nice simplistic cover that this fits in to to travel. Usuage was where it fell short for me unfortuantely, the button is easily placed and pressed so turning it on / off is very easy. However The Norelco blade heads are not very flexible and doesnt work on the contour of my face. It will bend towards the center which is nice however, does not move in any other direction. This forces you to hold the shaver a certain way or become creative to try and shave areas of your face. I miss some of the older Noreclo models that had "360" movement on each of the swirling blade heads. This also will pull hairs on your face at times. I have had mine fully charged then tried it on short stuble and long hair days. It unfortuatnately would randomly pull hair at different spots on my face cauzing razor burns. I do not use electric shaving cream however feel you may need to if using this particular product. Noise level is a higher pitch than my older Norelco models however not loud so doesnt really bother me. Overall I feel this would be an entry level product for those who need a quick simple shaver that have light hair follicles. Otherwise for thick hair try to find the Norelco 360 blade head models.

The Philips Norelco Shaver 2600 works great in dry or wet skin. The three heads will adjust to your skin but will nick the skin if one applies too much pressure. The shaver will also work best with shaving cream as it provides lubrication and will refresh the skin after. There is not much that comes inside the box which is a good thing. Inside one gets the shaver itself, charging cord that works via USB, a carrying pouch and a plastic cover for the shaver heads. The one thing that could become a deal breaker is if you want skin smooth shaving or just want to shave down what is visible. I did notice that with this shaver my skin would feel prickly after which i do not mind depending what part of the face it is . I have noticed that i get more consistent results when it comes to that smooth skin with a foil shaver. Anyways it comes down to personal choice, personally i am happy with the results, since i do not have to be carrying razors anymore. I definitely recommend this if you are looking for something that gets the job done fast.

    Philips Norelco Shaver 2600

So I just received my Philips Norelco Shaver 2600 a few days ago and have been using it daily over the last week. Philips has become a household name from a range of products from TV to shavers/razors and the like. It's become a name that people have grown to love and trust. And so I was excited to get the opportunity to get my hands on this shaver (especially since my old one just recently died after several years). When you open the package, you're greeted with the (3) Head Philips Norelco 2600 Shaver with cap, charging cable (power adapter is NOT included), and travel pouch. As far as build quality, this shaver feels nice and solid to hold in your hand. This shaver is very easy to use, just press the power button and you're ready to go. You can use the shaver dry or wet. It took no time charging it up (maybe an hour). I have used it both dry and wet. Dry is when I am in a rush in the morning or when I don't need as close of a shave. Wet, is when I have a little more time in the morning. I lather my face with some shaving cream and start shaving. To clean, simply hold the heads under water. The 3-head attachment can be opened to clean any hairs inside the heads and the attachment assembly can be taken fully apart to clean the heads better. The attachment while on a hinge can be removed from the back of the shaver. On the back of the shaver is a razor/edger that can be popped out. This is one of those shavers that after awhile you may need to replace the heads, which are easy and simple. All in all, I like this shaver and will continue to use it daily.

I like how the Norelco Shaver 2600 looks. The green color is a nice touch. The weight of the shaver is light. It is easy to handle and use. You can use this in the shower. A fully charged battery can be used for about 45 minutes. I have used it 3x so far and each time I use it for about 8 minutes. The low batter indicator has not kicked on, which according to the manual is a flashing orange light. The trimmer is a nice addon feature. I can trim my sideburns using the same shaver. I do not have to use a different device. It comes with a travel case and the size makes it travel friendly. It also comes with a cover to protect the heads. It comes with a USB charging cable, but it does not have an AC adapter. My only complaint is the other side of this cable. It looks proprietary. If you lose this charging cable, you just cannot use a USB cable. I wish in the future they would use USBC so any USBC charging cable can be used. That is my only complaint. Otherwise, this is a good shaver especially for traveling.
