My original Philips/Norelco shaver was made in the Netherlands in 1971-72. The cutting heads were changed along the way and the machine was scrupulously maintained by the user. It lasted fifty years! The Indonesian-made razor is a worthy replacement. The bottom line? Don't muck about, buy this Series 3000 Philips Norelco razor.

I thought it would work better than it does. Most of the time it doesn’t really feel like it does anything when it’s on, and it’s very frustrating. It almost feels cheap. I don’t know what I expected or if my expectations were wrong from the beginning. Just wanted a nice electric razor.

I had a very close and smooth shave using a gel shaving cream from an aerosol can. Dry was more uneven and left my skin a little rough in places.

I had an older version of this shaver that lasted me several years. This new version is a good upgrade to my previous shaver. The shaving feels really smooth and it leaves no itching or burning sensation after shave. However I used it for shaving my head also. When shaving head some hairs were left after the shaving. But that could be due to shape of my head

I've tried electric razers in the past. I could never get a close enough shave. This razer changes everything. The wet shaving option is the way to go!!!! It also takes away cutting yourself. Very close and safe shave!

Nice shaver and I got it at a sale price. I like it better than my much more expensive Panasonic shaver. My only "complaint" is a strange one. Shaver is too quiet. I guess I was under the impression that a noisy shaver meant a powerful shaver. This one does a good job and you barely hear it. I am very satisfied.
