For the Black Friday deal price, this can't be beat. I hadn't used a Norelco since high school. I think mine was corded and naturally not waterproof. The advantage of being able to get this wet is cleaning it. I use my kitchen sink so I can use the spray function and clean out the heads well. From what I've read of the more expensive models that shave closer, they are bigger, clunkier, and more irritating and people get cut by them. Just use a blade if you want a shave that close. Foil shavers are pricey and require expensive cleaning and replacement. The heads for this are cheap and don't need to be replaced often. I find it works best if I use it every day, but I can get away with 2. Longer and it starts to pull. Your skin will get used to the rubbing if you use it more frequently, and you are less likely to miss the same spots two days in a row. I had trouble getting it to glide with my skin wet or with shaving cream, so it was more irritating than dry shaving. Just make sure your face is clean and dry. (Also your hands, so you can pull your skin taut.) Shaving my jaw line on the left side with my right hand is challenging, but I'm getting better at it. You'll also want the heads nice and cool to shave your neck. (They'll cool right down if you turn it off for a couple minutes.) I only need to charge it once a week. You get a full charge in an hour, but if you're in a hurry you can get a shave out of it in a few minutes of rapid charging.

I bought this for my son. He is just starting to shave. He loves it. I love the fact that it is easy to use for him. He can get a clean shave and keep the shaver clean by himself without me having to help him. I also loved the price. I bought two! One for my son and one for my husband.

The shaver seems to shave pretty well so far. The battery lasts a week under normal use. It doesn't seem to have a battery level, so just charging after a week. I was disappointed by the charger cable being USB instead of their normal plugin. Also, it doesn't come with a case, but the head cover fits well and won't come off easily.

I've always used Norelco electric razors. My old one died, so I bought this one. It didn't disappoint. Works great. Close shave. Good price.

This electric shaver always does the job and I like that you do not have to charge it that often. The quality of this product is excellent and I have always bought Phillips Norelco because it is a trusted brand.

Its an okay shaver it gets the job done. The shave is not that close i have to go over the same spot more than 3 times.

This razor works great for my son, he complained about his last one that it did not cut right and pulled the hairs as he ran it, not this one. Nice and smooth, comfortable to handle and not cheaply made. Good quality.
