first, if you like using an electric shaver then these are perfect and are in line with any more expensive models. The only issues I have are the same issues I have with all electric razers, they don't do a great job getting close especially on my neck area. I like having the edger feature, not all expensive models have this. I was impressed with how easy to clean this and how long the battieries last. I use these to supplement my regular shaving especially in tight areas like close under the nose. I like that this does not get damaged if you run water over it to clean it out. I think the only thing that would have been nice would have to included a charging stand of some sort.

    Nice Electric Shaver

This is a great shaver overall I love it. Its a nice wet/dry shaver that works, but the part that I love the most is the fact that is have a large catch for the shavings, so for me I'm not emptying it out twice a shave. Just once at the end. Also means more room to keep the hair getting stuck in the blades making maintenance easier. Holds a nice charge. Overall its a comfortable electric shaver that gives a good shave, but finally has plenty of space to store the shaved hair meaning you can finish shaving faster and I absolutely love it.

As most people looking into this shaver can relate to, I have really sensitive skin. Most electric shavers in my price range don't do too good of a job and still leaves my skin irritated. Using a razer gets me the close shave that I want leaves me bleeding and red for the day and I have even had in-grown hairs which is NOT ideal. I think this strikes the happy medium. Philips always sets the standard for me when it comes to shavers. This model is one of the more affordable lines that they have. The design is noticeably more flatter than their expensive models. I have found that the different shapes are better for the different contours of your face, so I honestly think it will come down to personal preference. I really like the design of this Norelco. It is light and the rubber helps make it feel good in the hand. I have found this shaver to be a fairly decent performer. You will not get as close of a shave with a more expensive shaver or a razer, but you also will not get as much burns. Other things that I noticed was that it did not do as well with longer, flatter hairs. I did have to touch up with a razer. If you are into a more fixed routine and shorter hairs, then this shaver will be great. Honestly, I'm not the biggest fan of wet shaves with shavers. However, this performed much better than my expectations. I just loved that cleaning the shaver was so easy because of the waterproof feature. The battery life was great. I estimate that I got about 90ish minutes of actual shave time. One thing to note about electric shavers is that you have to keep using them so your skin can adapt to it. So I would give it a few weeks before abandoning it altogether. All in all, a good and affordable shaver that I would recommend to anyone with sensitive skin.

This is great shaver, and the price is great too! I get a clean shave every time I use it and cleaning it is easy and it can be cleaned under the tap. Almost makes shaving fun!

Upon first tests, this shaver actually outperformed my more expensive shaver. It required far less revolutions around my face to catch all of the hairs plus no pinching or irritation even on my sunburned face and left me with a super smooth close shave. What else more do you need from a shaver? Also, Love that it has the pop up trimmer too which I consider a must have to tighten up my side burns. Great shaver from a reliable company!

I was surprised at how quiet it was and thought that it might not be as powerful as my previous Norelcos. However, it shaves just fine if not as good as a blade. It memory not green I think that my old Norelcos did a better job but I cannot verify that. It does an adequate job and is much more convenient than a blade. Only a couple months so time may change my mind but I think it a good purchase.

Good looking razor - give it time to work

Let me start by saying that I didn't like this razor at first. The first few times I used it, it felt like it was pulling at the hairs on my face as it cut them (and it hurt just a bit). On top of that, it didn't seem to be cutting very well. The instruction book says to give it three weeks for your face to adapt to the razer. After about a week, I noticed that shaving had become much more comfortable. I like the fact that this razer can be rinsed off after each use. It should make keeping this clean much easier. The razer does have a warning sticker on it advising you not to use it while it's plugged in (presumably to reduce the risk of shock if you're using it while bathing). The razer itself looks pretty sleek with a nice black and dark blue color scheme. Battery life appears to be pretty good so far. It took a bit of time, but I'm fairly happy with this razer.

I love this shaver. It is so quiet and works very well. I use it to shave my head and touch up around my facial hair. It works well in the shower but prefer using while dry. Clean up is so simple and quick. Look and feels comfortable in my hand. Great all around electric shaver.

If you are like me and occasionally get in-grown hairs from shaving, I suggest you try the Philips Norelco Shaver Series 3000 wet / dry shaver. For some reason, I used to regularly experience in-grown hairs in one particular area on my jawline, but after using this Norelco Series 3000 shaver for a while, I have noticed that my skin is much less irritated and I no longer have any problem areas. This is probably due to the 5D pivot heads which is a very intuitive design. I have always been more of a quick morning dry shaver but I must say that a nice wet shave every once in a while is really nice and you can do both with this particular shaver which is great! Overall, I am very impressed with the Philips Norelco Shaver Series 3000 wet / dry shaver and I highly recommend it!

I have alway disliked using electric razors as they usually hurt my face as I always had to run the razor over and over my face to get a close cut. I learned that norelco allows you to use shaving cream while using this shaver. I always shave in the shower so using this wet capabale shaver with shaving cream in the shower is a new and faster experience. I have charged the shaver once and I have been able to use it for a few days without need to recharge. This is a great affordable electric shaver. It not to expensive and appears to be a strong reliable shaver without the overload of bells and whistles (that you either don’t use or break). Perfect to purchase for yourself or maybe even a gift.

Shaver works well and gives me a comfortable shave using it for 'dry' shaving, never tried it wet. Its very quiet for an electric shaver, which I appreciate. Have not used the trimmer.

Good shaver! I’ve been using Norelco triple head shavers for 50 years. This is the quietest triple head shaver I have ever owned, and of course it gives a nice close shave.

    Best Bargain Shaver

Got this cordless shaver for less than half price on a great Black Friday sale. Quiet, small, light, and charges up in minutes. Will last through many shaves. Seems to run at a lower RPM, but it gets the job done for sure. Best results will come from daily use. If you go too many days in between shaves it will definitely struggle. Best value for the money, I'd say.

I've had a beard for over a decade now, but need to keep it relatively short and well-shaped. This usually means shaving the most sensitive area (neck) and trimming the rest. For times when I need a close shave in those areas, I go for the 5-blade razor, but almost always suffer some sort of irritation. With this shaver, I now am able to keep up with the maintenance daily without the razor. When I do need the razor, using this beforehand has limited the irritation.
