I bought the Philips Norelco 5000X and I am very pleased with the purchase. Here is my experience: Performance: The machine is powerful and shaves very close to the skin. Design: It feels very sturdy and has a great grip; it doesn't feel cheap at all. Battery: The battery life is impressive and lasts a long time. Recommendation: based on my usage, this shaver performs perfectly if you shave every 2 to 3 days.

It has taken a little time to get accustomed to the new shaver. So easy to use and a very clean shave. I have sensitive skin and this is making shaving a lot easier.

Great shaver. Super smooth and easy to use compared to a razor. I bought for my son who is just starting to get a mustache but it’s so easy and fast I use it myself too.

I get pretty bad bumps when I shave, so I figured I’d try this out. This razor gets a much closer, cleaner shave than any other electric razor I’ve used before, especially when used with shaving cream. I’ve used this razor every morning for several months now and have never gotten a nick. The battery life is also very good, I don’t charge it very often at all considering just how often I use it. I recently let my facial hair grow out, too and it had no problem shaving down a few weeks of growth. You really can’t go wrong with this razor.

No electric shaver I've ever used has ever given a shave as smooth as a blade but this one gets as close as I've experienced. I use it to keep both my face and scalp shaved and have gotten used to a quick and easy shave. In addition to giving a close shave battery life for this model is phenomenal. I have had my shaver for nearly a month and have just charged it for the second time since I bought it. The shaver has been used every day and still had a charge when I decided to charge it since I was anticipating being without power for a while because of a winter storm. I heartily recommend this shaver for anyone who wants an easy, hassle free experience.

I’m really impressed with this wet/dry male shaver. It delivers a close, smooth shave without irritation, whether I use it dry or in the shower. The blades glide comfortably over the skin and handle contours well, especially around the jawline and neck.

Good close shave. No nicks and quite. Battery seems to last a long time. 4/5 stars only because i havent used it for very long.

I have used the female shavers for facial hair removal but none of them seem to be of very good quality, no matter the cost. Therefore, i wanted to try a mans shaver since they seem to use the same razor type. The quality of this shaver is great and It DOES REMOVE FACIAL FUZZ. The price is so much better for the quality! The only thing that is hard is because it is so much bigger than the women's shaver, you have to be super careful around your eyebrows!!! Lol

Very quiet. So quiet I doubted it had power, but it proved me wrong. Does a great job. Shaved with razors before.

The shaver feels nice on hand and to clean it is so simple too. Just a press of a button and it opens up. I use a brush to sweep away all the hairs in no time at all probably like 5 seconds to do. And its pretty powerful too shaves a bit of the longer hairs which is something I wasn’t expecting since my other shaver doesn’t do that but overall happy with it leaves my skin feeling smooth. SIDE NOTE: if you buy this for the trimmer attachment DON’T because it’s utterly useless.

Overal, this is a good razor at a reasonable price. I don’t need a lot of bells and whistles, just a decent shave.

Great product my son have ever used. My son is 65, with very sensitive skin. For the first time, after using this shaver, his skin didn't turn red, didn't burn, didn't feel itchy. Love this shaver. Purchased during the Xmas sale. Gets close without the irritation. Would be nice if it came with the rinse cap.

I bought this as a gift. It was on sale, so the price was great! The recipient is very pleased with it and loves that it has separate heads for shaving vs trimming which makes it easier to use.
