I purchased the 5000x after first purchasing and returning the Series 3500 from Best Buy. Nothing wrong with the 3500. It’s the fact that the charging cable was no longer in the box. Anyway, the 5000x easily cut through my two-day old beard. The only downside so far is a little skin irritation under my chin.

I like the price when i picked up on sell. This razor does a great job for the money.

My husband has been using Phillips Norelco shavers for years, and the quality no longer seems to be there. This one slowly stopped holding a charge until it wouldn't charge at all. It was only two years old when it completely stopped working! We just bought the newer version - hopefully it will last

typical Norelco quality razor as always , I do miss the flip up beard trimer though

I ended up with two of these because I forgot I ordered one. They recharge pretty fast with the cable is unique the razor. You can still get the cables at AliExpress but you got to know what you're getting. Charges up pretty fast with USB on one side and the custom cable on the other. I sense that just after maybe 20 shaves the batteries are getting weaker. Doesn't sound so great does it? It was kind of an emergency purchase and it is still working. I don't think I've owned it even a year.

This new gen Philips rechargeable razor is the best they have marketed in years. It is simple to use charge and clean. The best part is I've used every morning for a month and still going on the same charge !!! I would totally recommend it...

I had a Philips shaver (not 5000x) before. This one doesn’t shave as close as my previous 2 I had. Blades seem to turn slower too so takes longer to shave. Battery does last a long time ( at least 10 days or more,)
