Makes bushing teeth fun for kids

Every morning my son asks if he can have my Philips sonicare toothbrush and I have to spend 5 minutes explaining why he can't use the toothbrush yet because it is very strong and could damage his teeth not to mention it being to big and bulky for him. Philips has solved that problem with the Philips One for kids battery toothbrush. The toothbrush is a nice size that allows children to grip it properly and it has a small soft mini brush had that will allow your child to gently brush their teeth. The brush delivers micro vibrations through the brush head that help get you child's teeth clean while they normally brush. It also has a 2 minute timer and a feature referred to as quad-pacer that simply means the brush willl gently vibrate every 30 seconds to remind your child to switch to a different quadrant of their mouth. My son really like this feature because he said he never knows how long to brush each section of his teeth for. For most kids 2 minutes may seem like an eternity with a manual toothbrush but when waiting for the brush to buzz the 2 minutes goes by without any complaints. The battery is a replaceable AAA battery that should last about 90 days before requiring replacement. You can also purchase replacement brush heads so that you can replace them every 3 months as recommended by Philips. I would definitely recommend this kids toothbrush as it helps kids develop good brushing habits from a young age

WOW, what a great design, and works really well too. Absolutely perfect for little ones. This is a must have for young ones to help them develop proper brushing habits. First, the design is awesome. It fits nicely in kids' hands. The brush head is small so it is great for really little ones and I believe the adult one heads will also fit this handle as kids get older and may need a slightly larger head. I love the built-in timer. It helps my child (6 years old) know when to move on and helps him work in 30 second sections of his teeth. Bonus there is a stand that allows him to place it in for storage when not in use. This is way better then laying it on the counter or in a drawer.
This unit is battery operated which is nice, it is easy to swap out the batter and you do not have to worry about chargers. If I had one suggestion, it would be to include a replacement head as part of the original purchase. Not a deal breaker by any means but it would be nice to have a spare to start out with. The battery is supposed to last 90 days before needing to be replaced. For one single AAA battery that sounds great. I have not had to replace it yet.
So far this is great and my child loves using it. He knows when to move on to a new section of teeth during his 2 minutes.

I got this for my 8 year old son as part a promotion. I have the adult version so I thought this would be good for him. He struggles with brushing his teeth unless we sit and watch him.
First off, the size of the brush head is perfect size for his little mouth. The brush is also sleek and light weight so it's easy for his little hands to hold. The smart timer really has helped him with knowing when he can move on to the next section of his teeth. He's been using it daily for over a month and he hasn't noticed a change in the battery life. The other brushes seem to slow down as they die. The Philips doesn't appear to be doing that. He has used the toothpaste branded spin brushes in the past and they do the job but he himself said that his teeth feel smoother and that it still feels strong.
The stand is a nice addition as well because it keeps him from laying the wet brush down on the counter.
Overall, it's a simple design with single button operation that is easy to press. He still doesn't like to brush his teeth but he does like the toothbrush. It also makes him feel a little more older per his words.

This kid-friendly toothbrush is designed to make brushing fun and effective while promoting healthy dental habits. What sets this toothbrush apart is its kid-friendly design. Works just as good as more expensive brushes. Maybe even better. I bought this after a recommendation from the kids dentist to get them electric toothbrushes. I found this. It is battery operated, so we don't have to worry about cords in the bathroom. No cord, no plugs to play with - in my mind the secret to the fantastic toothbrush! It wasn't going to break my bank to replace the batteries every 3 months, and my daughter loves it. No, it's not the 300 dollar toothbrush that I have, or the 90 dollar one my son has. I pair it with a timer using our bathroom Alexa and our toothbrushes routine had become streamlined. It looks and feels more like an adult toothbrush. This is great for teaching young kids good brushing habits. My daughter actually looks forward to brushing her teeth now, and with the help of flossers, she's flossing now too, and using a mild mouthwash that has a very mild watermelon taste for kids. And it all started with this inexpensive toothbrush for under 20 dollars. I will say though, that just because it's cheap, it doesn't have special characters or anything. It is well made, easy to use, kid friendly, and fits well in small hands and are easy to clean and sanitize. Nothing to lose here.

Great 1st Electric Toothbrush for your Little One

Electric toothbrushes in general are great for a number of reasons, they ensure that you brush your teeth for a long enough period of time and brush your entire mouth thoroughly as well. With little ones, both of these things are difficult without constant monitoring, so having an electric brush sized for their hand and mouth to help them develop these good brushing habits is great!
Setup is easy, runs off a AAA battery. The claim is that this will last 90 days - if true, that is a great battery life!
Like adult electric brushes, this has a 2 minute timer with a 30 second pause to signal your little one to switch quadrants.
The stand is fine, but I may just end up throwing the brush in a drawer instead of leaving it on the counter - one less thing to clean. The brush body is textured to help with grip as well.
The pricing is also quite affordable and the brush heads don't seem to be overly expensive to replace either. It is recommended to change the brush head every 3 months.
Overall a simple and great product to help kids develop good brushing habits and keep their 1st set of teeth nice and clean!

I'm very impressed with this little toothbrush. We've been teaching our 4 year old daughter to brush her teeth for a while now and have been having the typical progression of learning. She started really strong because it was cool, then lost interest and it's been difficult to get her to brush well.
Since we got this toothbrush she's been all about brushing and has been doing it well. The toothbrush does a good job 'brushing' even though it doesn't have a moveable head. The vibration is strong enough it seems to brush the teeth well. The beeping every 30 seconds is still something we're trying to teach her to use. But in the end she loves brushing until the toothbrush shuts off and does a good job getting all areas of her mouth.
I would definitely recommend this to parents with young kids. I feel that my daughter is getting a cleaner tooth brushing experience, learning to enjoy the event and is definitely excited like she wasn't with a plain brush. They did a good job with this brush and I think it is a good investment.

So I am an adult but I have several kids and my son helped with this review. He has been using this toothbrush regularly now and it has become just something he does. It is no longer a choir. It feels nice a more expensive electric toothbrush and the battery lasts long enough that you won't stress because it is not rechargeable. The stand is also convenient and helps keep the brush head clean and off the counter. It is small enough that it does not take up much space and could easily be used by others if you get a different color. It did not come with any extra accessories or extra brush heads.
It does not come with rechargeable batteries or a power cord. The stand is not super stiff or tight but just good enough for small hands. I think it would be a great starter electric toothbrush or even a great brush to use long term or maybe while on trips. I will look to get a pink one for my daughter as well. They hit the mark with this one. Both my son and I highly recommend this toothbrush.

So this toothbrush was ofcourse bought for my kid, and I'll let them provide their own feedback here. But I just want to say that this is not our first Philips One toothbrush, my wife already uses one and is very happy with hers. This one comes with a stand that hers did not have, making it a lot of fun and easier for kids to use. Well here's my kid's review -
"
The toothbrush is fine, but there are some things I don’t like about it. First, whenever I turn it on, it tickles a bit,but then I get used to it. Next, it feels like I’m brushing my teeth with a normal toothbrush. Sometimes when I turn it on and brush my teeth, the paste falls off. I do like the color combination of purple and blue, it looks nice. When I lift it, it is light, so I can lift it easily.
This toothbrush is good.Other people should buy it.
"
Even talking to her,I can tell that she's really happy about using it, and she uses the exact same time to brush so in my mind an electric toothbrush is just lending her a helping hand, not doing all of the job for her. I am giving it a thumbs up as well.

Today, I’m excited to share my experience with the Philips One for Kids Blue Battery Toothbrush.
As a parent, finding the right dental care products for my child is essential, and this toothbrush caught my attention with its promise of simplicity and effectiveness.
Unboxing the Philips One for Kids Blue Battery Toothbrush was a delight. The packaging is colorful and engaging, making it instantly appealing to children. My 8-year-old daughter was excited to try it out from the moment she saw it.
One of the standout features of this toothbrush is its simplicity. With just one button to operate, it’s incredibly easy for children to use. My daughter had no trouble figuring out how to turn it on and off, which made our morning and evening routines much smoother.
The built-in 2-minute timer is a game-changer for promoting good brushing habits. It helps children understand how long they should brush for, ensuring they get a thorough clean every time. My daughter actually enjoys using the timer and sees it as a fun challenge to brush for the full two minutes.
Durability is always a concern when it comes to children's products, but the Philips One for Kids Blue Battery Toothbrush has proven to be robust. Despite a few accidental drops, it continues to function perfectly without any signs of wear or damage.
In conclusion, I highly recommend the Philips One for Kids Blue Battery Toothbrush to any parent looking to make dental care more engaging for their child. Its simplicity, built-in timer, and durability make it a standout choice in the world of children's oral hygiene products.

I'm a huge fan of electric toothbrushes! Once I got my first one I never looked back. With that said, like anything else, it may not be wise to invest as much in to your kids tooth brushes as you would your own. The Philips One battery powered tooth brush is a great starting point to getting your kids using electric toothbrushes.
In regards to design, the Philips One is very inviting for Kids, while not looking to kiddie. I may not get this for a 16 year old, but for a six to seven year old, it definitely gives off the "I'm growing up" feeling. I really like the base that allows it to stand on it's on.
In regards to actually using the brush, while the brush lacks variety in features, it gets the job done, without being too rough. I've gotten no complaints from my kid, but I also feel like the overall feel of the toothbrush (as well as the design) has made brushing his teeth even more enjoyable, which is great for building great habits at a young age.
I've yet to see how long batteries last with this toothbrush, but that's probably a good thing. Had they died in the short amount of time I've had this brush, that'd be an issue. I'd strongly recommend this toothbrush as a great low investment toothbrush to get your kids into the electric toothbrush space.

I got the Phillips One for Kids Battery Powered Toothbrush for my 2 yr old nephew. He absolutely loves this toothbrush! First, he is a boy so everything he has is blue ad this fits right in. Secondly, and this is the best part, is that the Phillips One for Kids Toothbrush is that it is battery powered! No cords where it just has a usb cord with no block and I have to go scrounging around for a charging block. Just stick one good old fashioned AAA battery in and you are good to go! The battery supposedly lasts 90 says. Thirdly, the timer is very helpful to ensure that the boy brushes for at least 2 minutes. There is a notification every 30 seconds to tell the child to move to the next quadrant. The Philips One for Kids toothbrush comes with a suction stand thingy that looks like a splatter.
Overall we highly recommend the Philips One for Kids Battery Powered Toothbrush. It comes with one head and is very powerful. We are happy with the cleanliness of the child's teeth after using it. Did we say you get to use batteries!!

Phillips one for kids toothbrush is just what it sounds like, a quality toothbrush but without the cartoon characters on it. We all know Phillips makes a quality product, and their sonicare line is one of the best. I feel this is the starter kit for your kids to cross over to a new level before you shell out for a more high end toothbrush in their lineup.
Like the big brother line, it too has a two minute timer spaced into 30 second intervals. The idea is to brush each quadrant in 30 seconds to get the dentist recommended 2 minute brushing session. It does this with what they call micro-vibrations that assist in the cleaning while the child brushes.
The brush head is replaceable, and it comes with a stand to sit the brush in while it is not in use. It also runs on batteries, and I have zero clue how long those last. But I know it is more than three weeks and it is going strong.
So what does my daughter think? She loves it. She is hard on herself when she brushes, and with this brush she really just lets it do the work for her and she tends to be easier on her gums. So win win for me.
I definately recommend this toothbrush to any kid that is stepping away from the goofy cartoon brushes, into something that is more about function and cleaning vice fun. I am happy with it and so is my daughter. So much so, that I got another one for my other daughter.

Good Kids Electric Toothbrush

The Philips One for Kids is a battery powered electric toothbrush for kids. It includes one brush head, the brush handle with battery pre-installed, and a plastic stand. The brush features a 2 minute timer which is broken into four 30 second intervals to help children know how long to brush and when to move to different quadrants. My son had no problem understanding the timer and the toothbrush’s overall operation is simple enough that he immediately knew how to use it. I appreciate that a stand is included, however, there is no kind of grip or suction on the bottom, so it slides around quite easily on the counter. They really should have given it a suction bottom, or at least given it like rubber feet or something to give it some sense of traction. Other than that, it is a really great electric toothbrush for kids. It uses one, pre-installed AAA battery. I like that it includes the battery, but with toothbrushes, I really prefer rechargeable batteries. My son enjoys using the toothbrush, and it seems like it cleaned his teeth better than a manual brush or other cheap electric brushes he’s used. Overall, this is a really good first electric toothbrush for kids. There are a few things I would change, but I would still recommend this to anyone thinking about getting an electric toothbrush for their kids.

So as the title says I have a 15 year old with autism. Certain normal day to day things are very challenging. One of the most is brushing his teeth. Up to this point I have always used hand brushes. As someone who’s used sonic toothbrushes for the past 8 years or so I wouldn’t have ever thought to try one because of the sheer power and vibration. The regular brushes never actually got his teeth clean as he doesn’t have the coordination to do it himself so I always have to do it. Brushing someone else’s teeth I could never get the right angle or behind the teeth. Then I see they make a children’s sonic and figure what’s the worst that can happen it’s worth a shot. First it doesn’t have to be charged like mine or my wife’s I notice upon opening takes a small battery which tells me it can’t give out that much power. First morning came and let him see what it was gonna do and we turned it on to prepare him for the vibration before it went in his mouth. Not to strong but enough to make a big difference from a traditional brush. And away we went! He let me do it the full two mins which I couldnt get more than 30 seconds usually. This thing is a game changer and his teeth are finally clean! I can’t recommend this enough!

Cute electric brush for kids. I was skeptical about this product as I have a 3 year old and was wondering whether she will like brushing with vibrations in her mouth and teeth. To my surpirse, first of all the color is the brush is so cute and she fell in love with the brush instantly. Kudos to Philips to have manufactured a kid friendly looking product. From that moment on; it was quite simple for me to make my daughter brush her teeth. She started liking the feel of vibration in the mouth, which is not too strong, but at the same time makes her giggle and laugh. The brush made our lives easy with her brushing. After a couple days, she started brushing her teeth on her own and is now completely independent. She makes sure to keep it on charge immediately after the brushing. One minor thing that can be possibly improved is The support stand for the brush. I have a bit of uneven countertop in the bathroom and both this brush and our adult brush charging stands have too small a base to steadiness.
Overall, loving this brush. I have not explored brush replacements yet, but I’m sure it is going to cost less, if not same as the adult ones.
Thank you Philips to have made our lives easy with kids brushing.

Yes that’s a disturbing title, but unfortunately true. The pre-teen would maybe find time in her busy schedule a few times to brush a week. I don’t know the underlying reason why switching to this toothbrush has her doing it twice a day but she has been doing it since.
When we first opened the box the toothbrush wouldn’t turn on. We just reseated the included battery and we were off to the races.
The toothbrush seems to clean up well, again not something the pre-teen is well known for in our house. The stand is very nice to have, and certainly helps to ensure the extended life time of the toothbrush.
The mechanism to teach better toothbrushing seems to be paying off as well. She has been brushing longer than normal.
I can’t speak to battery life yet, and there is not a battery indicator of any kind. That is not a complaint pre we, more a statement of fact. The extensive manual says the toothbrush head should be replaced every 3 months. The unit does not come with a replacement, and I don’t know what that will run me when the time comes. Head replacement looks straightforward.

I have a VERY independent 6 year old who is convinced that he knows what he is doing and how to best do it... I also have a VERY strong-willed partner who thinks the same thing plus that our son does not know what he should do...
We've had some really good success in showing our 6 year old how to brush, but the timing has been a real issue because he's bored of brushing his teeth after about 17 seconds and we then get the "joy" of arguing that he is not, in fact, done brushing his teeth. The fact that this has a timer is awesome! Now, it's no longer Dad and I imposing our understanding of "time" but our son gets to feel some empowerment by brushing his teeth, until the toothbrush stops. Having this "extra" brushing time, has helped us to show him that he can brush his gums and tongue and really make sure that his "mouth is clean" before bedtime and that lets us ALL rest a bit easier!
I, personally, love using an electric toothbrush and I know how beneficial they have been for my oral health and having that peace of mind for my son is awesome!

We have been looking for a better toothbrush for our little for a long time. That being said, the regular Sonicare toothbrushes are way too big and strong doe kids’ teeth and gums.
The Philips One has the same structure, just downsized. The handle is slimmer, and the base is a fun shape to hold the toothbrush. The head of the toothbrush is removable to allow for cleaning, drying, and sanitation, which helps prevent the mold forming underneath.
Automatic two minute timer makes it really easy for our son to know how long he needs to brush for. Unlike some of the higher end Sonicare toothbrushes that monitor via an app to make sure you hit every part of your teeth and apply the right technique, you don’t get that kind of feedback with the Philips One. And that’s okay. We aren’t looking for something that fancy, and for the target age, I doubt any kids would actually care nor follow an app to optimize their brushing.
We got the light blue color, and our boy is happy with the color.
One button activation to turn on/off. Simple.

The Philips One Battery Toothbrush is a great choice for parents looking for more than a disposable option for kid's mouth care.
Design:
The toothbrush is a basic AA-powered toothbrush with small design details that make it more kid-friendly, including color choices, and a "splat" shaped stand that makes it a more fun design. The brush head is also specific to kids, with matching colors and a soft-bristle head that makes gum damage less of an issue for kids. It's also less cartoonish in overall appearance, so older kids will appreciate this!
Use Experience:
The brush worked well in our initial tests, powered consistently by batteries, it never needs charged, and there are less seams on the brush for toothpaste and germs to get trapped - It rinses off easily, brushes with effective vibration, and doesn't overpower. It's also smaller-barreled than other similar brushes making it better for older kids. The battery lasts quite a while, in our several weeks of use we haven't noticed any sign of the brush slowing down or requiring a replacement - I believe the battery is rated to last a few months in a brush like this with daily use.
Overall:
A basic, albeit appropriate, power toothbrush for tween and pre-teen users. Would recommend.
