Bristles too firm for me

The item was supposed to be plaque control, & I thought that meant that the bristles would be soft, but are too firm for me. I have sensitive teeth & I need soft bristles. I will look for bristles next time that are specifically for sensitive teeth. It cost $29.99 plus tax for 3 brush heads, & feel like I wasted my money, because I will not be able to use them :-(!
