About 8 months into using this toothbrush it became insanely loud when operating. The strength of vibrations has deteriorated as well. Philips customer service were not able to resolve the issue. $399 is a steep price to pay for a product that doesn't even last 1 year.

Previous brush lasted 4 years. The brush failed at the same faulty design location, the base where you insert the brush heads. Stay away from this.
