I had bought this almost 2 years ago. Just last month it had stopped working. I called Philips customer service, it was replaced with no questions asked. Awesome customer service.

I love this toothbrush. It is all my old Sonicare was and more. Brush life, check. App that works with brush, check. But, wait... I have lost my Bluetooth repeadedly while brushing, had to stop, or, worse yet, keep brushing without the support the app provides. So much for an otherwise 'gee whiz' feature. But the brush is good, not necessarily the price.

Great customer service! Great prouct I have p=bought more than three of these in the last twenty five years, and each time my expectations were exceeded. Will buy again, if I need one agai.

You get the all day clean feel while using this. it is definitely a great toothbrush. I can't go back to a regular toothbrush.

This is probably the 5th or 6th sonicare that we have purchased. We've found that the higher priced model really are worth the extra cost. This one is no exception.

I've been using a Sonicare of one type or another for two decades. The Flexcare Platinum is quite a bit more sophisticated than others I've owned, which could be good or bad depending on your preference. The good: It's a great size, thin and easy to hold, even for my large hands. There are multiple settings for how intense a brushing you want that day. It does its primary job very well, leaving teeth feeling smooth and clean. The charger is a perfect size, either in the bathroom or for travel. It does not collect detritus around the head or charger like the standard models do, so it's much easier to keep clean. It has clear warnings if you're pushing too hard, and guides you with or without the interactive app. The app can tell you if you tend to do this in certain areas. The travel case is solid, a welcome change from their less expensive products, and you'll definitely want some protection for a toothbrush that's this expensive. Bluetooth connectivity is the easiest I've seen with any device. Privacy policy for data collected is clear and reasonable. The not so good: Understand, these are just quibbles with a fine product. That feedback for pressing too hard? I had to read the manual to figure out what it was trying to tell me - at first it just seemed like a new brushing pattern. That solid case is also large, an issue if you travel a lot and pack everything right up to the edges. The "it depends": Do you need a toothbrush with Bluetooth connectivity? Do you need a device that reminds you to floss when you're done? Do you need a device that reminds you that you can polish your front teeth if you turn it back on? Overall, an excellent product, with just a few very small question marks.

I can say a great deal about this toothbrush. As a CTO for my company and a general technology enthusiast, I'm excited to see the Philips folks take a "connected" approach to something that you wouldn't think would be valuable to talk to your smartphone. If you feel that way, this product might just change your mind. First the basics. The product comes in excellent packaging, though the outer boxing is flimsy and may be easily damaged in the retail space. I can see a number of these becoming damaged box specials since Philips seems to use these flimsy cardboard packages. On to the product! This thing comes with EVERYTHING you'd need to start cleaning that dirty mouth (except for the toothpaste - pick your own brand!) There's a standard and a firmer detail head, both have very nice covers for storage. There's a charging stand that doubles as a storage stand for up to 2 brush heads. I appreciate that this is a rechargeable set and offers a nice, small stand that doesn't take up acres of real estate on my bathroom counter. As someone who travels often, I also appreciated the travel case that was included with the unit, which is constructed of hard plastic with a clear lid and not only fully contains the unit for travel but protects it structurally during the bumps and scrapes of air/road/all travel. On to the connected functions! I'm an iPhone and Android user, but I've only had a chance to pair this guy to my iPhone and use it. The app is great and actually advises you if there are better ways to reach spots or if it detects that you're over/underbrushing certain spots and recommends changes in your brushing habits to deliver the best possible clean, It also keeps running track of the brushing you're putting in so that you're motivated to take maximum care of your mouth. There are also 3 modes the brush will run in. This helps with avoiding hard brushing near sensitive gums (the appropriate brush heads help too). These modes are also designed to balance the cleaning and whitening patterns of the various brush heads. You'll have to try one to figure out which is best for you.

I upgraded to this thing from a more basic model and I was stunned at how much cleaner my teeth feel. The Included Adaptive Clean brush heads are far and away totally different than the knock off replacements I had been using for my cheaper sonicare. Since these are available separately for use on most other sonicare toothbrushes I won't say much more on them here other than they're awesome. Having a lithium ion battery makes a huge difference as well. My drawer used to be littered with 4 cheaper electronic toothbrushes and it was a roulette game to see which one had a charge. Having this new Sonicare Platinum Connected has elevated the toothbrush for a me a little. I keep it stashed on it's stand, and thanks to the app I know far more about the usage on the brush heads than before. The app - I was skeptical at first "really? does my toothbrush need an app too?" But I find myself referring to the metrics there more often than I thought. I don't always actively monitor my brushing sessions - aka have the app up while I'm brushing, but I do have bluetooth on and I let it connect . It divides your mouth up into 6 segments and tracks pressure and coverage over those segments. This has prompted me to become a more conscious tooth brusher again, like in elementary school when the dentist would visit and give you a new brush and you went home eager to be diligent again for a while? it's exactly like that!. The ability to track when new heads are put on is also very helpful. The adaptive clean brush heads themselves tell you when time is up, but so does the app. This is helpful for all brush heads, since others aren't that advanced. If you were to actively monitor your brushing sessions it would tell you how much time you've spent in each segment of your mouth. Overall I love it. I thought the app was overkill but it turns out to be a useful feature that causes me to think more about how I brush. I'll be using one of these for quite some time.

Gives deep massage to gums and roots. Took time to get used to it but was worth it. Phillips is a great product.

If you are a tech nerd like I am, you will gladly welcome this toothbrush into your home. It essentially teaches you how to brush properly! You will impress your hygienist with how clean your mouth is. I have nothing bad to say about this brush aside from the price is a bit steep. The brush is awesome and you get what you pay for though. It is solidly built. It fits comfortably in my hand. My wife likes it since it is a little wider thank the older sonic brush models in Phillips' line-up. The case is more solidly built and I don't think it will break like the older white plastic cases did at the hinging areas. The app you can download for iOS and Android (only at this time) is basically a coach. You select different concerns you have and it will provide tips and feedback on how you brush. It reminds you to floss and mouthwash. It tells you that you have too much pressure when brushing. There is a graphic that shows you where you should be brushing and where you need to clean better. It gives feedback on areas you need to work on. I absolutely love this app. Battery life is rated at 19 days on a single charge, but that remains to be seen. I believe it will vary depending on how many times a day you brush. If you want to spend less time at the dentist, I recommend this.

Toothbrush works well on teeth and gums. Very powerful toothbrsh. I would recommend this brush.

I've had others from the same manufacture. This one is the best I've had. Love it!

With several different cleaning modes my teeth have never felt so clean!!!
