I've been using Philips Sonicare toothbrushes for about a decade, and I can't recommend them enough. I've never been able to achieve such a clean feeling with manual toothbrushes, and the pulsating action is much gentler on my sensitive gums than the old back-and-forth (although it does take some getting used to.) I've always bought the entry level 1100 model when the batteries start to go (which is to say, after 4 or 5 years of regular use,) but opted for a small upgrade this time in the 4100. I think the additions of pressure sensors and battery lights are worth the extra cost. I didn't realize until now, but I've been using far too little pressure when brushing (yet still achieving a very good clean.) The battery light is nice; it has multiple states that indicate the charge level, all the way down to when you can only brush a few more times before needing to recharge. Takes the guesswork out of blindly charging. There's not a whole lot else to say -- it's a toothbrush! It requires you to learn a different approach to brushing (think more of how a dentist deep cleans each individual tooth, rather than brushing back and forth.) That's about it. I feel this is really the sweet spot in the Sonicare line. The cheaper units do away with useful conveniences such as the battery indicator and the pressure sensor, but still provide an excellent clean, if you want to save a few bucks. The brush heads are best bought on sale and in bulk. There's no way around the huge increase in cost percentage versus using a traditional toothbrush, but I find it a small price to pay for how much better it cleans. Realistically, you're looking at around +$30 a year for a dentist-clean mouthfeel, every day. I'll never go back! It's that good!

This is my first electric toothbrush. I was always skeptical and said I brushed well enough with my regular toothbrush. Saw this was on sale and could not pass it up for the price. Very pleased with how it worked. The sensors and timers are very simple and the brushing experience easy. After using it for about a month, my teeth feel cleaner. I wish I would have purchased this sooner.

This toothbrush is comfortable and easy to charge. It keeps a charge for a long time and lets you know when to change the brush head. My dental check ups/cleanings have gone a lot faster since I started using this brush.

Since I bought this toothbrush, I can already see a difference. It has reduced the stains on my teeth so much. It's powerful and lasts a very long time,so I dont need charge it regularly. Love it. Definitely recommend.

This is my second toothbrush of this kind and I love it. (My last one lasted around 5 years.) The timer is great and my teeth always feel extremely clean after every brushing.

I have the diamond clean toothbrush… almost $200! This works everybody as well; you just don’t get all the speed voices and modes. Highly recommend it and it doesn’t break the bank, especially if you can buy it on sale!

Great toothbrush! First electric toothbrush and im impressed…very powerful, great battery life, and the pressure sensor is cool. Brush head is a bit small but replacements seem to be avaliable everywhere. Recommend!

I had a standard 4100 and wanted to add another one for the upstairs bathroom. I was originally disappointed with this when I opened the package, because I thought that this had 3 modes instead of the standard 1 of the 4100 (it does not). BUT, I was pleasantly surprised that this is a larger version of the standard 4100; bigger barrel, longer, and MORE POWERFUL. While I was completely satisfied with the original 4100, this seems to be even better. Definitely worth the extra ten bucks.

Doesnt have a bunch of different settings but it works as intended. Comes with a few extra head replacements. Only one setting but can't complain for price.

Not amazing but good enough for the price. Gets my teeth plenty clean. The head is just a bit big and awkward. Because of the way it vibrates it's a bit uncomfortably in certain spots.

It fits well in your hand a d very powerful. Like the 4 timers that vibrant to tell you to move to the next section. Very pleased with it's performance.

Love this tooth brush . I like sonic. My last tooth brush sonic brand was 20 years old, I hope this one lasts as long . The travel cover is great , but has to be taken apart to fit inside. I just leave it together and use the new tooth brush covers on them . It seems to keep charged for a good long time . Month maybe?

First time I purchased electric toothbrush and love it. It has a timer so you know when to move to another teeth area. It cleans so much better than manual or battery operated. Brush is smaller so it gets in area's that other's can't. Brush is great cleaning tartar/plaque off gum area around teeth and doesn't damage gums. Great price and excellent quality. Best Buy had them on sale.
