Works the best out of all the ones I've had. I checked this out at several different sites, and this seemed to be the best for the money.

I had the prior model and unfortunately lost it during a trip. I tried going the old manual toothbrush route, but after a couple weeks went right back to shopping for an electronic toothbrush. I ultimately went with the Philips Sonicare 5100, best bang for the buck, as you get the luxury of multiple settings without paying the highest tier price. Would definitely purchase again if I end up losing this one too

I just recently ended my partnership with a 5-6 year old 9700 model (or the equivalent model for 5 years ago). I knew this time around I didn't want to spend $200 on a toothbrush. So far, I think the 5100 is basically the same thing for less than half the price. It might have 1-2 less "modes", but you'll most likely only use the normal mode anyways. Personally, I actually like the charger on this model better as well. It's more of a regular stand-style and is compact on the bathroom counter. Please, don't bother with the glass "cup" charger. For one, the glass get's extremely grimy (you aren't going to use it as a cup), it's bulky, and all the elegance of the glass gets removed when you factor in the ugly cord sticking out of the base.

I have never owned an electric toothbrush before and I found this to be so easy to use. It cleans very throughly. It's better than a manual toothbrush. This comes with three modes of brushing.

Great toothbrush with long battery life (around 2 weeks for me) and several modes! Cleans well and whitening mode makes a noticeable difference. Replacement brush heads are a bit expensive, but don’t have to be changed too often.

I've been a fan of sonic care toothbrushes for over 10 years. My previous 2 lasted over 5 years each and since switching to this model, I've been impressed by the new interval mode and the adjustable levels. It's also a lower profile, reducing the counter space used. Definitely a quality toothbrush and one I would recommend to friends and family.

The Philips Sonicare 5100 rechargeable toothbrush is probably the best toothbrush I have ever purchased. I have been using rechargeable toothbrushes for about 15 years and so far the Sonicare 5100 toothbrush cleans the best and battery charge lasts a long time

We bought this for my son because our dentist stated he was brushing too hard and causing his gums to recede from using a manual toothbrush. This electric toothbrush is a great replacement. He enjoys using it, and it does a good job cleaning his teeth and gums without the worry of causing damage to his teeth and gums. It recharges quickly and have not had any issues or problems with it.

I finally traded up from an older model. Should have done it earlier! The 5100 is superior to what I had before. You can feel the cleaning and the clean!

Great quality and glad I spent the money. This does a muxh better job than my 4 year old Oral B electric toothbrush. The available features are very professional but i havent used it outside of normal mode with the mormal brush head. It recharges quickly and holds a long lasting charge.

I previously had an oral b but switched to Sonicare because there was only one option available for Oral b which was higher than my price range. I selected this one because it had a travel case and I liked that option which I didn’t have with my previous brush. I’ve had it now for a few months and I really enjoy it. Equally as great as my Oral-B so highly suggest it if you’re considering it.

Perfect toothbrush for simple cleaning that gets the job done

This is my first electric toothbrush. I have been using it for a month. It has three settings. So far I have only used the first setting. I like the that it gives off a little vibrate, as a reminder to move to the next section of my mouth. The charge seems to last a few weeks, with a use of two to three times a day. So far I really like using my electric toothbrush.

Bought this electric toothbrush after a friend's recommendation. I used it twice a day and the battery can last more than two weeks. It also came with a simple travel case when I purchased it, which comes in handy when I need to pack it for travelling.

Excellent battery life. Gotta get use to the vibration but I feel my teeth getting more clean than a normal toothbrush

A repeat purchase for the Phillips toothbrush that served me well for many years. Great quality and easy to use.

So far so good. The travel case comes in handy for putting in the luggage. My 4100 had the loose shaft issue so hopefully this one doesn't do the same thing.
