It's great to use when driving in my car and an idea comes up. I don't have to stop and put things in my phone. this works so well with its voice activation

Owned for more than 2 years when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The downside to this device is the instruction manual has to be downloaded from your computer--and is a lengthy download and complicated directions. I am not a device expert but I am average or better. Best Buy had a good sale on the recorder and it does everything I need it to do. So I kept it. Just beware there are so many YouTube presentations you can not be sure they are talking about this model number.

Works well & its simple

I am able to dictate information into the recorder and then downloaded to my computer. The recording voice is quite adequate and it's easy to charge. I highly recommend the Philips Voice Tracer digital recorder.

It was easy to set up, and showing her how to operate it was easy. Perfect for what she would be recording and price was very reasonable.

Play back is clear. Only problem is the instructions are not easily understood - only give pictures. Very easy to use once you figure them out.
