It"s a good product considering people have cellphones now that can do the same thing. But it's good

Excellent sensitivity perfect for recording any situation….

Good voice recording. No issues with the audio quality. My complaint is the software that you'd think comes with it is not free. It's also difficult to know the time recordings are being made if it's set to auto record when the mic is activated.

It eats batteries and would not recommend. I was recording a video project and used this as a backup and it died half way through the project. What made matters worst was I tried returning to Best Buy and one day past the return date and they wouldn’t take it back. Never again will I buy from Best Buy.

I used it weekly and it really works well. I just have not learned all of its features. My only issue is if I let it sit for a day or until it shuts off, you have to plug it in to get it to start up. I don't know why that is, but that is something that the developers need to work on in future iterations.

my daughter uses this to record classes in college. it works great, clear voices and picks up even when teacher is walking around the room and turns back to her. pretty easy to transfer to her other devices so she can re-listen to classes on the go.

This little jewel helped me catch my cheating wife. The microphones are top of the line and the software helps to clear up any background noise. Perfect for dropping into the backseat of the car to catch every sound!!

The voice tracker was a very easy device to use. It did not meet my expectations even though I was told that it was the best digital voice recorder. The microphone was not sensitive enough for the application that I was looking for. It did record fine if the microphone was close to your mouth while recording.

Works ok but much too expensive to justify the routine stuff it actually does. Not compact enough. Pain in the buttocks process to simply record. I only purchased it because it was all they had on the shell and I was desperate.

This product has very good, clear recording, but the volume of the play back is almost inaudible

wanted to be able to connect it to the phone and record calls which directions showed just using earpiece. Works great but not what I expected. Could be user issues also.

This recorder was purchased for use in Maintenance Homeowner Association board meetings for the purpose of recording the meeting to assist in developing the netting minutes. I installed the recorder on a tripod using the threaded tripod attachment on the back of the recorder. I adjusted the height of the recorder to about six feet. It captured all conversation in the room of about 50 people. And it’s easy to share recordings with others. I recommend this recorder.

I bought this because I am on the phone a lot & need a recorder that can record the phone conversations. I TAKE NOTES ON EVERY PHONE CALL, BUT I can't write in shorthand. So, if I miss something or have a significant issue that will take some time, I used the Phillips Voice Tracer DVT1300 & it was great! Good sound recording, Good Playback, Good Volume & easy to use! I'd buy it again if I could, but it was discontinued. So, I bought this. This one, however, was bad because you could not hear any recordings when done. I tried 4 separate times, and each time, it was like a whisper & the volume was turned up all the way, to the highest volume. The screen showed it was recording, but the volume coming out was a low, faint sound output. Phillips Voice Tracer is a useful product & I've used them for years! With NO PROBLEMS! But this time, I got a lemon. So, I took it back to Best Buy a week later, and they credited the credit card back. The service was fast & everything was taken care of in less than 5 minutes! Excellent service at the OP Store on 95th. SO, TO AVOID ISSUES, LIKE I HAD, try it out first.

Excellent recording quality, sleek design that fits easily in your pockets and the staff was extremely helpful, knowledgeable and friendly to work with!! It did take a bit to get it set up, but it is easy to use one you try it and the staff was excellent and knew everything I needed to know to use it that same day!! You could make an appointment with the Geek Squad to set it up totally for you if need be. An A+ for Best Buy Customer Service!!
