Unlike some of the cheap brands on amazon which offer the same thing, the only difference is that you cant just put a sticker over the big bright red light since it comes from the inside of the pen. On the cheap Amazon brands which worked but the sound quality was garbage, you could place a small sticket over the hole so thay no one suspects you. It’s a nice pen, writes nicely, but being that the cap is magnectic, they should atleast include some replacements for the price tag. Overall, it useful and good quality but BE CAREFUL ESPECIALLY in low light since the red light is basically a projector.

When I plug it into my phone, the usb device is found immediately, and you can listen to your recordings. You can delete files as well...no need for the sembly app or any other Phillips mobile apps. Sound is clear and writes beautiful. Nice heavy pen. I wish you could see battery life

Suprsingly enough it does write great and comfofortable feel too !!! Really is worth the money. Recording and all is great. Overal directions are kind of confusing but not to hard to figure out.

Very descret recording and easy to start + stop - just slider up or down. Love it! I have also tested the Sembly software which works great via the audio upload function - I have just tested 2 languages - but up to 40 languages are available. Great value!

GREAT FOR NOTE TAKING

Using it to take audio notes during sessions of dungeons and dragons. Voices are clear and sound doesn't get muddy when multiple people are talking.
