Purchased speakers for our living room tv/stereo system. TV programs and movies become realistic. Great speakers, great price.

Pound for pound and dollar for dollar it would be difficult to get more quality sound reproduction from a bookshelf speaker. Bass is sufficient to eliminate the need for a subwoofer for most music reproduction. Frankly, for $130 per pair, this is a great buy for a music lover on a budget. Leave something left over for the rent or Mercedes payment.

I got these BS22s for under $100 and they are worth every penny. Well-made, heavy, and sound great. You can't go wrong in adding these to your system.

After reading about these speakers and hearing all the glowling reviews, when it came time to sent up an office system I had to try them. The reviews were right, and they filled my need for an office system that sounds good. And the value is better than almost any other sound equipment I have purchased..

Being involved with audio equipment as my hobby for more than 40 years, I have always felt that the music is first and foremost. No one should have to spend incredible amounts of money to enjoy quality music in their home. These speakers are among the finest reproducers of MUSIC for their size I have ever heard or owned. Read the hi-end magazines, and the superlatives they apply to bookshelf speakers of this dimension usually cost anywhere from $350 to $1000 dollars. These Pioneers deserve those superlatives for a fraction of the cost. Can you BLAST them at rock concert levels? No. No small speaker can do that. But they will fill a good size room as long as they have a quality amplifier driving them. Just OUTSTANDING.

I read the reviews before checking these little bad boys out. Best Buy Dropped Price on the spot when checking online for price matching. These speakers have superb sound and really impressed me. I added the Pioneer 8" SUB Woofer which sealed the deal. Pioneer products have never let me down.

These bookshelf speakers were researched and recommended by our "techie" son: great price, easy set up and so far we love the sound we are getting now watching movies, etc. at home!

Very surprised by the quality sound from these speakers! Bought the corresponding subwoofer after having heard these in my apartment.

I put the speaker on my suround system for the rear speaker. I mainly bought them for the great bass tones. The size are perfect for bookshelves speakers. I had 80s style large speakers that used to be were the new bookshelf speakers are and the sound quality is much better.

Good value. The sound quality is good. The exterior appearance is pleasant and it was easy to connect.

I gave away a pair of large Altec Lansing 10" 2-way speakers I bought in 1970 and purchased these Pioneer speakers after listening to them at my son's home. Along with a Martin Logan Motion 8 center channel, the Pioneer SP-BS22 LR's fit nicely on a 60" entertainment credenza surrounding my 55" HDTV and project excellent sound clarity regardless of the audio source.

The sound quality is great. Easy to install. They are big in size compare to the Bose speakers.

SP-B22-LR is a bass-reflex speaker with a 1" soft-dome tweeter and a 4" woofer, neither magnetically shielded—but both drivers are new. It's impressive when a talented speaker designer such as Andrew Jones comes up with a quality speaker costing less than $200/pair. The sound is balanced, neutral, and involving, with no significant shortcomings. An excellent choice for the fiscally challenged music lover.

Great sound, very pleased, easy to hook up, reasonably priced

This is my second pair of these outstanding small speakers and they live up to expectations. Came highly recommended from a long-time audiophile friend who does not give high praise to small speakers easily. He raved about these and they didn't disappoint.

I researched and read many highly praised reviews about these Pioneer Bookshelf speakers and they did not disappointment. Great sound. I replace some Bose speakers with these and surpassed them easily. Great value, great sound. I'll buy another set for the living next.

Larger than usual rear surround speakers, but they matched the set I already owned. Great sound for what they cost.
