Pioneer has very good speakers for this TV very impressed and picture quality is very good. Also Homerun for $160!

Good first Smart TV for the elderly.

The reality is is that even the elderly need smart TVs nowadays. The xumo Smart TV is something that she's used to. It's a little different than the standalone devices but it is still relatively easy to set up. And she does fairly well with using it. I did a little bit of a custom setup where I installed a cheap soundbar to go with it. That was to enhance the experience. Luckily the TV will control the Soundbar automatically and turn it on and off for her. The built-in speakers are not great. But they are completely turned off on purpose. My mother reports that the TV is slightly slower than her standalone xumo. But otherwise she likes it just fine. From what I remember the picture quality is not as good as a samsung. But you're not looking for super high quality picture if you're purchasing this tv. It is cheap. And it is designed for those who are not going to be concerned about perfect picture quality. Consider those factors when purchasing this tv.

HDR and Dolby Vision for gaming actually works!!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.With my last couple 4k tv's HDR was ok but Dolby Vision was terrible almost believing that HDR was better well with those tv's it was but this tv has Dolby vision working perfectly on my Series X my games look amazing and HDR works as well. Crisp 4K image this tv should cost way more what A steal.

Picture customization options are limited, and navigating the OS feels a bit slow/laggy at times, so I wouldn’t recommend this tv for a premium viewing experience, but it makes for a great bedroom/office tv.

I walked you though every step. I really enjoy on my antenna setting that is does have a schedule. I also like the home screen how easy it is to navigate. The picture and sound quality is very good. Unfortunately my daughter's dog ate the remote control and Best Buy does not see replacements... I also was disappointed to find the TV in its colorful carton on my doorstep when I returned home. I am surprised you would leave such valuable electronics out in the open. I'm thankful no one stole it...

Decent Budget TV

Even though this TV is slow at moving around the interface, its EARC support and light-weight Xumo OS make it feel more like a traditional TV. That's a plus, especially as most TVs want you to interact with their sluggish smart platforms, you can configure it to get out of the way and just go back to what was being watched before being turned off. The composite input is incredibly useful if you have vintage equipment, and the headphone port is greatly appreciated.

Good budget TV

Cons: Xumo TV ask to register and make an account to use some of the smart features right away which for me is a turn off BUT if you have a Roku or Google TV or other brand device already it works perfectly for your needs. I haven't tested Xumo TV when register yet so I cannot go deeper with this review
