Perhaps I can find a setting that will allow the default input to change from Xumo to either OTA antenna or HDMI connection when using as an additional monitor would be about the only suggestion I can make.

Best? Maybe a Good Buy for a 43" lower priced TV

The Xumo smart interface is laid out very well and fairly "ergonomic". So without reading much you can use the smart functions very easily. The picture is good, colors are great and sound is ok, probably a touch better than some but still you may want, like most TVs, a sound bar or better system for decent sound, which is more than half the entertainment value in any show. All told, if you pick this up on a deal it one of the best in this level. Most everything as far as physical, it is typical for this level of tvs. Recommended for your short list as there is some stiff competition out there.

Picture and sound are fine enough for the price, no issues so far. I'm not a huge fan of the xumo interface but it is ok once you get used to it. I plan to hook up my laptop and use it for a work monitor. I will post an update if it's particularly good or not for that purpose.

From time to time, the TV won't turn on via remote or button on TV. Have to unplug/plug back in to outlet to get to turn on. The Iminterface can be laggy

Excellent 4K Value TV - Just get it!

Clarity, volume, apps, etc. I even LOVE the remote so I can use my spectrum app and actually enter the channel numbers as opposed to having to scroll with arrows on my other Roku and Samsung Smart TVs. Came well packaged, Straightforward instructions. For <$150 I don't think I could find a better TV and I am trying to decide on getting another at this price.

First, the set-up was more difficult than other similar tvs we purchased. Secondly, the sound is not up to the level of other LED tvs we have in our home. Thirdly, it is extremely inconvenient as to how you have to use the remote to move from tv station (or cable program) to another. Switching back and forth using the Xfinity app or other apps is NOT a smooth seamless process. And finally, the overall picture is fine but not as good as other LED products we have in our home.

PIONEER TV 43’

What Pioneer has done is made a Great Priced TV with all the features of a fire tv accompanied along with the above average audio, compared to most TV you need a soundbar. I guess that’s only to be expected by Pioneer.

I don't use the XUMO service, so I can't speak to that, but as for the picture sound and other functionality, it has been perfect. Great tv for the money IMO.

The TV's volume required to achieve optimal sound levels was higher than expected, which affected the overall viewing experience. Additionally, the default display settings were not ideal for movies, presenting a noticeable orange hue. Modifying the settings improved the viewing experience, but it highlighted the need for more accurate default settings.
