Nice TV with some caveats, buyer beware!

Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.First of all let me say this is a very nice looking TV and the picture is excellent very vivid, brilliant colors although skin tones and very bright oranges, greens and reds don't look quite right you kind of get used to it it doesn't matter how much each week the settings or which preset you use. The sound was good enough about what you'd expect for a budget TV so I hooked up a modest Samsung soundbar and it was very happy with everything so far. Here's where the trouble begins . I connected my Blu-ray player to the HDMI 1 Port since the sound bar is using the HDMI eArc port and I was unable to get any sound out of my soundbar or out of my television speakers even after adjusting the sound settings on both the TV and the Blu-ray player! I tried plugging the soundbar into a different port and every combination of ports trying to get some sound but was unable to. The only way I could get sound at all was to disconnect my soundbar which is not satisfactory at all when watching a Blu-ray movie. I spent a good amount of time with a very nice person from Samsung customer support and we were unable to solve the problem. Very very disappointing and at this point I was wanting to return the TV but I've had it for nearly a month though and the Best buy support told me it was too late to do anything. So I thought well maybe at least I could watch a 4K film with good sound with a movie I had stored on a USB flash drive. I plugged it into the port and the screen recognized the flash drive and I also saw the name of the movie which was John wick 4 on the screen but there was no way to access it much less play it. It doesn't seem to have a built in media player as far as I can tell. I should tell you this TV which is 43 in is for my bedroom, my main TV is a much larger Samsung out in the living room and I tested the equipment on that TV and had no problems whatsoever even though it's an older model so there appears to be some compatibility issues and a complete lack of the ability to read a flash drive at least as far as movies go, perhaps that's only for service, to download updates. In any event, I'm going to have to try to resell this TV so I can purchase one- most likely a Samsung . I haven't purchased a pioneer product in a very long time and frankly I did not know they were still making TVs! I'm a very unhappy customer with this purchase and I cannot recommend it
