Great tv for the price (got on sale for $169.00) so far. Picture is better than I anticipated and sound from the built in speakers is very good for filling up our master bedroom, even the bass is good. Only reason for 4 stars is the refresh rate is pretty slow so there is picture ghosting for sports but it's advertised as a slow refresh rate so that is expected. Blacks are pretty good and colors are vivid. Xumo menu has most of the standard apps so that is nice. Very happy with the purchase.

I really love this TV. This TV is the best TV I have ever had pioneer really did a great job with this TV. It’s almost as good as the LG and I had a great experience buying this TV from Best Buy and the customer service. There was unbelievable.

Overall with the TV has been okay. For the price of $139 is a steal for a 4K tv. This is my first time using the XUMO OS and sadly it sucks. I do not know if it is the tv or the OS but man does it lag. I think my TCL Roku TV from 2018 doesnt lag that much. I would recommend getting a Roku stick or a Google TV box because the lag is unbearable at time. Especially from a tv from 2024. Again I cannot complain too much because of the price. The picture quality is surprisingly good and has good speakers. I gave it a 4/5 but I would say a 3.5 is more accurate but with a roku stick/google tv would be 4.5 or a 5.

Great quality. Navigation is straightforward. One minor issue I find is when searching on youtube, it may keep re-searching even after hitting search. Its not such a big deal. Overall the TV is good quality!

Bought this TV as a zoom display. It works great with the HDMI output from my laptop and is small enough to transport to remote locations in a minivan. Sounds pretty good also. At black Friday pricing it's great.

Great "budget" 4K TV. Perfect for bedroom or small living room. Good selection of inputs. Works great with my Xbox Series S for gaming. Sound quality is great for a smaller TV. Only real complaint is the remote, with a very small and hard to see power button.

it replaced a 15 year old flat screen. it's much sharper. Good sound qulity. I can't talk about the software as I love my separate Roku player which I use with it.

I used to be very against a TV in the bedroom, but I gave in when I got a free hand me down some years back. It served its purpose but now I was ready for an upgrade. This Pioneer TV is just right -- not too large, great picture and sound with needing additional speakers. The setup was easy and it looks fantastic. At this price point it is not something you can pass up. Strong recommend.

Really have no complaints when it comes to doing a review of this particular item. If you're looking for a reliable 4K outside of the other well known brands at a "relaxed" price, this is a good start. I mostly use it to play my gaming console (Series X). As stated earlier, I have no complaints; I'am thankful :)

This tv is awesome. I had Pioneer back in the mid 80s. They were great then. This tv for the money did not disappoint

Very good value for the money. Sound is good and smart options are clear and easy to use.

The picture is pretty good as far as 4K goes, but it appears to be restricted to certain pre-set profiles and I haven't been able to figure out how to make adjustments. The backlight is constantly adjusting based on the brightness of the on-screen contents and it makes the persistent objects look brighter or darker than they otherwise would be. My biggest issue with "Smart" TVs and other devices is that they require an internet connection to get the updates they need just to function and even with all the updates there are quirks or issues that pop up from the rigid operation setup. On the downside, the quirks in the operation can make it a pain to use of you want to use it for streaming, but on the upside, you can ignore what you don't want to use if you have devices for gaming/streaming etc.

The 4K picture quality and sound are great for an entry level 43 inch TV. The built in tuner works great as long as you have a good antenna positioned in the optimal placement in your home. Mine is on the roof and I live in a metro area with multiple TV stations and towers in the area. Picture color, brightness and saturation is good, but if you're expecting OLED quality then move on and be prepared to spend at least 4 times more. The speakers give room filling sound and are not "tinny" without having to raise the volume to a very high level. All the apps are built in, so no app store needed. They are all pretty much mostly streaming apps. When you set up a Xumo account with a payment method, you can subscribe directly through Xumo for any of the streaming services available that require payment or if you already subscribe to a service, just enter your log in from the individual app interface. There are also some free tv streaming apps available that do not require any payment. I did notice the Apple TV+ app did not have a "my library" tab in it on this version of the app. I found that for me the smart menu system is not overly simple nor is it overly complex as is my experience with the other two major smart tv device add-ons available on the market. Alot less side scrolling to get to what you are looking for. I hate side scrolling. Overall I am very satisfied with this Pioneer 4k TV. It surpassed my expectations for an entry level 4K TV and it fit my needs perfectly.

Have had this Smart TV for over 2 years. For the market pricing, with has sharp, high-definition display and audio, I feel it's well worth the cost. I added a Samsung soundbar to extend its audio. To take advantage of its Smart TV capabilities, you must keep it up-to-date with current Xumo programming. Simply use a computer to download via https://www.xumo.com/usb-update the Pioneer firmware bin file on to a USB jump drive, then plug it in the Smart TV and initiate the update. You'll be satisfied with its capabilities!

Overall this is a nice and relatively inexpensive entry into 4K. Is it the highest quality? No, and not to be expected at this price point. I'm using it as a PC monitor, and so far I'm very pleased.

To be honest, I haven't opened the package yet. But, I will say that after reading the specifications and details of this pioneer xumo tv 43" 4k smart tv is that it is a great tv for a cheaper price than most other 43" 4k smart tvs!! it is not pricey at all!! Pioneer is one of my favorite brands when it comes to electronics and has a great reputation of making high quality products. if you want an excellent product and are not picky about the apps, then I would recommend this tv. people have to realize that xumo is a new series of TV's just like android, google tv, Roku, etc. so the experience may be a little bit different, but you should still have fun with lots of apps and free live television channels and if you prefer a fire TV, you could always plug in a fire stick into your HDMI slot. I can't really make a true judgement because I haven't tried to download or add apps to the TV, so I don't know if it's an issue or problem.

Five stars when I factor in amazing on-special price at Best Buy! Picture pops with warmth and saturation easier on the eyes -- better to watch than same-size and pricier LG that got accidentally got broken a year ago. Bought an identical Pioneer a month ago because we liked the first one so much. Use it my writing studio for reviewing, note-taking on streaming shows and film. Not bleeding-edge tech, but not an issue. No prob with minor but noticeable lag booting up after powering on and switching apps, but really a non-issue that doesn't affect viewing pleasure for the $!!!
