    Good TV for the year that it lasts

    This TV was actually pretty nice for the time that it worked. The biggest gripe is that it suddenly stopped working right after 1 year, exactly the time that the warranty lasts for, just after moderate use.

    Won’t be much of review. I had to return the item it did not turn on as soon as it arrived. We opened it plugged in tried the power and did not turn on. Had to return it The power indicator just blinked when I pushed the power button.

    I don't like this tv and about 3 weeks of having it the sound keeps randomly going out. The picture is terrible overall this wasn't a great purchase. If I didn't miss my return window I differently would have sent it back.

    Pioneer reappears out of nowhere!

    This company used to be a solid choice for big screen TV's over a decade ago.........well over a decade ago. Now they just reappear out of nowhere and here they are again. Ok, looking at the back of this TV and the overall design, this clearly is made by whoever Best Buy licensed Toshiba TV's to be made by for them. Look at the back of a display of any Toshiba TV you want next time you're in their store. First off, good luck finding Toshiba TV's anywhere else currently. Next, they have a Best Buy sticker on the back. Not something that's telling you it's a display or making it traceable if it gets stolen from their store, I've had them before and fresh out of the box they have these same stickers on them too. The point? Clearly Best Buy has some licensing deal with Toshiba. Seeing an incredibly similar design and the same sticker on the back of these new Pioneer model TV's says all too clearly that that's what's going on here as well. Ok, now that that's established let me pause and say that's not a bad thing, at all. What Best Buy puts out and licenses has shown over the years to be of solid quality. Usually not top notch, but definitely well worth the money. Also their typically loaded with features and specs that most people are interested in and are going to use. And the price is generally more than fair making them all the better. Setting aside how Best Buy clearly has license deals with various companies I say that doesn't matter, because the quality is still extremely good for a very good price. Get it and odds are you'll have no complaints.

    Terrible Tv. Hooked it up and went through setup that's forced upon you. Then after watching the TV resets and I have to setup so over again! It did this three times and I took it back 3 days later. Picture was okay. Sound was not that great. Would never buy this old brand that used to be trusted.

      ​Sorry for the inconvenience caused. It cause TV will background update the latest software, most of update doesn't require reset, however this time it need reset to get final settings. BBY-ExBrand_Best_Buy_Pioneer

    I recently purchased this in early-mid July. Quit playing and will not power up right after the return period ended. While it played, it was good. It would have been great if it lasted more than a month.

    when i received the tv the internet and the sound were not working. i had to wait after i received the item to discover it when i had time. At that point the 15 days were up and i could not take it back.

    Literally had this TV for 1 year and the screen has completely went out. Had geek squad come out and check it out and they confirmed it was defected. I guess it’s true you get what you pay for. I will never buy anything else pioneer

    Received broken, never got to use. Also had a hard time getting it took care of. First they told me they were sending another one then I get an email saying it was cancelled with no explanation why.

    Quit working after a couple of uses. Would not power in. I smelled a biting smell when I tried unplugging and plugging back in after time to reset.

    Product arrived with a broken tv screen. Very upsetting situation. Ontrac was the service best buy shipped with ane the box was damaged and screen pushed in.

    Have had multiple issues with the start up of the system. Even though the cable box and remote is in sync with the TV, I must still use the tv remote to turn TV on to have the voice match the video on all stations and apps.

      Hi,
      TV turn on default at home menu, if you would like keep last input source(i.e. HDMI), try the Power On feature, when enabled, the TV turns on displaying the last used input. To activate it, go Home > Settings > Display & Sounds > Power On and select Last Input. BBY-ExBrand_Best_Buy_Pioneer

    It stop working after about 9 months. It was working fine the night before then all of a sudden it’s stuck at the logo screen. I did everything to troubleshoot it but to no avail.
