    I would give it a perfect 5 if not for some initial confusion, though admittedly some portion was user error. Initially I found it confusing that tv would change itself from 'standard' viewing mode to 'game' mode (switching to my Xbox.) This world then cause the tv to randomly switch it's input which is a huge deal when you're in a game with your friends and you're the reason the game is lost. I like to manually configure my picture settings and after some determination figured out how to do that with this tv. I don't know if that did the trick, I suspect so, but the random input switching stopped thereafter. Now it works like a dream. There's no way I could've afforded a tv this big if it didn't have that issue so I'm grateful. It was my first true high definition tv as well. If I knew how to fix that issue step by step I would include it here but at the time I had no way of knowing I was fixing anything so my apologies. I recommend messing with the picture settings if you have the issue I did. In case it helps I did not download the app for the tv but I did all the updates. I've had it since September 2024. So far so good.

    I bought ths to replace and old TV that had gone bad in my moms bedroom. To me a 50" TV is a perfect size for most bedrooms. It has very good picture and sound quality and at the time i just couldn't have bought a better unit for the price.

    Very happy with the choice. I bought it because it was at a discount and I was surprised especially the picture and sound quality compared to other brands that offer similar prices for the same size. The control speed is not the best but the wifi works well and has a variety of apps. Undoubtedly its strong point is the image and sound. The order arrived on time and in perfect condition. I recommend.

    Ive had this 50’ TV since Dec 2023 and i now can highly recommend it. 6 months of use with no problems or issues. Picture quality is excellent. I installed this TV on my covered patio. I use the xfinity remote box to connect to my wifi with no problems. The price of this TV is much lower than LG and Sansung, but the quality is equal to or better.

    Got two of these for my 12 and 13 year old for Christmas it was a great Buy I only spent $199 per TV the picture and sound quality is fantastic one uses it for their PS5 the other uses it for their Xbox x they absolutely love their TVs and for a mom on a budget couldn't have asked for a better deal

    I got this on sale for $149.99 plus I had a five dollar reward. I have to tell you, for $144.99 this 50” TV is a steal. Picture quality out of the box is impressive at this price point. I have it wall mounted in my lanai outside in the pool area and glare is not a significant issue. I have read some reviews stating there is some lag in the OS, but for this price it is something that can be dealt with. I actually find it bearable. I also read about limited app availability on the Xumo platform. At least all the apps I use are available so I’m not complaining on that side. You can also download an app that controls the TV with your phone. I found that it’s pretty responsive. I cannot speak of the durability, but if this TV were to last a good five or six years, I would say it’s money very well spent.

    this is a great 50" TV..It replaced my Toshiba i had in my bedroom and so far i am completely happy with it. The only thing that bothers me about this TV is when cutting it on , there is a 10-15 second delay before it actually starts booting up and that is a bot bothersome to me. the apps are all different. Oh the other thing is when I want to use my Fire TV stick I have to go into settings and use the Pioneer remote to access Fire TV and then I have to use my amazon remote to work the TV and after cutting it off I have to use the amazon remote to cut it back on because the Pioneer remote doesn't work with Amazon fire stick. overall, i would give it a 5 rating. Photos are ones i downloaded when my TV is in idle mode. Not sure why this review wont allow me where it asks Would you recommend this item?* i want to say YES but it wont allow me to click on the "yes" option..

    Purchase in 2023 beautiful picture still no problems only have to replace the remote from.being dropped continuously but I recommend a remote cover for protection

    As just a TV and in terms of picture quality and volume, it was Great and the price was ridiculously awesome! For cable or an input TV, on a huge budget, it's perfect! HOWEVER in terms of an actual Smart TV, probably the WORST I've ever had to deal with... Wifi was constantly dropped and the apps were constantly freezing. If you go through the settings and look up power setttings (or something like that), it gives you a reset option and that helped, twice, (after already having to do the factory reset before which DIDN'T help). But then, this last time, it won't open any of the apps anymore, as in actually go into whatever show or movie you're trying to watch on Amazon, Netflix or Disney. Sad because I was really liking it and the voice feature was cool too but how often am I supposed to keep resetting it and hoping it works..? Bought it for my 78 yr old mother and she couldn't watch it unless I was there to trouble shoot it for her, EVERY SINGLE TIME we turned it on. At this point, too many hours lost and not trying to keep doing this. Sorry, Pioneer... I tried. Gonna go trade it in for another LG.
