Not like any other flat screened TV, I've purchased lately. The sound is crisp and clear and NOT TINNY!!!! Love the size; just enough for the space I have in my living area. Priced very well within my budget. Just what I needed for my viewing needs.

Way Better Than Expected

However, we had an old Vizio that just died and so I didn't want to spend too much to replace it. Walking in, this was right next to the Samsung Crystal which I came to buy, for $100 cheaper was the pioneer which I recognized as a reputable brand. After looking at the specs, seeing that it was backlight instead of edge lit like the samsung, I went out on a limb and got this one. I do tend to like the samsung Tizen better, but the tv gave me everything I was looking for, I would suggest to anyone looking for a good cheap 4k tv
