The picture quality has been great. Ditto for the streaming apps. I can't comment on the speakers in the TV because it's all being handled by my Bose home theater. Hence the three star rating for Sound Quality. It didn't make much sense to leap to OLED (at this time) for way more money especially when TV was replacing a seven year old Samsung HD LCD TV. This TV will satisfy me for the time being to allow the prices of OLED to come down to earth.

Great deal, for a budget tv

This is replacing an Insignia the same size, which died after about three years. I purchased the maximum protection plan which was a pretty good deal for 5 years (lesson learned). The only downside is the refresh rate is a little low so you don't get that "people on tv look like they're actually in the room" effect. But still a great picture. I think I like the Xumo operating system better than Fire Tv. Fire Tv seems to lag and crash a lot, this does not. The sound on this is amazing.

Not the Pioneer tv experience of the past!

It has never ever been able to connect to internet. It is directly connected through my Roku via HDMI to tv, which acts as my steaming tuner. Directly connecting to this tv with Ethernet does not wok. Forget the Wi-Fi connection, since it is an endless loop of failure to connection pop ups. The technician assistance is an endless loop of human failures. Spend hours talking to well intentioned helpers, but nothing recommended worked. However, the picture and sound is very good through the Roku receiver. We use the tv as a monitor only. Since we are disabled and unable to physically return this tv, we have put up with the sense we got shortchanged. We have an extended service plan which we will execute as soon as the time frame allows and ask for a fix or replacement. Also, the response to this rating will be the typical manufacturer regrets and please contact us for more of your time to waste.
