The contrast is really good and the depth of the black is equivalent to my much pricier Samsung in the next room. Excellent purchase at the suggested retail, but a real bargain at the sale price.

The menu sequences are going to take just a bit of getting used to (but this is true for many electronic devices).

Despite updates, it consistently loses our wifi and refuses to reconnect, and some of the basic apps (like Disney +) are unwatchable because of lag, despite a fast mesh wifi system. Likely to return because tired of fighting with it.

MISLEADING , 300 APP IF YOU BUY THEM, NO YOU TUBE

You buy a TV to watch, but this one advertises 300 apps without mentioning that you have to pay $10 a month to use them. No additional apps can be installed; only the ones that are preloaded on the set. I subscribed to YouTube TV, but I cannot load the app to make it work. It does have the free YouTube, but it's not the same. I'm not going to list all the apps I watch, but they are based on Roku. Best Buy should have stated this before I took it home and paid someone to hang it on the wall. Now it won't work. Pioneer told me just to install a Firestick. I should have been told that there was something else for me to buy. This is wrong and should have been disclosed at the time I bought it.

I bought this for my mom for Christmas to replace her older plasma TV. Nice options out of the box. Remote is easy to use even for my mom. This TV is a great value for all the options included. I would definitely recommend this TV.
