At some point, it will become evident that the TV's response to remote control commands navigating between apps, TV stations, or TV features is excessively slow. Although there is a close app feature in the settings to reduce lag, the action still takes time. Once you've overcome the lag, the TV is enjoyable to watch.

I got this on black friday for a little bit of an upgrade and a present to myself. When I finalIy got around to mounting and setting everything up it was probably February-ish. The image wasn't too shabby for the size and cost, audio wasnt bad either. Communication between sound system and multiple inputs was a bit wonky, at best, but got it figured out and gave it a go. I noticed once or twice that the screen would get a flickering or lines running up and down, horizontally on the screen, then after a few moments whole screen flickered, then blank(audio still worked). So I went through a whole litany of tests. Started off with interference for the power source, had it plugged directly to the wall outlet adjoining the kitchen, so removed it and ran it out of both the surge protection blocks I have, didn't eliminate the issue. Tried running through entertainment system head unit which then also runs off the power center, nope. So started on the video cable, first ran directly into the head unit, changed the cable first, then ran through different input, then directly from video source, then different cable on those. Lastly, bypassed the whole head unit to see if that was the problem, negative and thank God. So with nothing changing so far, I decided to download the Pioneer Xoom app system for the tv to see if streaming the apps would eliminate the issue. Made it worse it seems. So I went and bought a brand known for something besides great audio. Honestly the operating system and interface was clunky, graphics weren't half bad, but lesson learned.

Just fine cheap tv

As an added bonus, the built in Xump is compatible with Spectrum TV (but I’d go with a Roku). Remote is simple and functional.
