I don’t like the Xumo. I’ve only had it a short time and the home page has changed twice. Plus, I can’t login to my Peacock or Paramount accounts on it, I have to use a fire stick. The picture on it is good.

Poor performance compared to Roku

We had been using Roku for many years, but had seen many great reviews for Xumo, so we decided to give it a try. Overall, the TV feels glitchy, where the overall system seems to be running very slowly. The remote isn’t responsive, the apps are cluttered and difficult to find, and streaming will often slow down, freeze, or be unable to load. I have checked my internet speeds and they are maintaining just fine, these are issues that I didn’t have with my Roku. Despite the operating system, the picture and sound is good, which is why I gave it 2 stars. I am excited to move back to a Roku when I have the chance.

Highly not recommended
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.When I'm using my TV (PN55-751-24) suddenly the screen turns snowy or turns blue and starts making a very loud noise. I started doing it two weeks after I bought it but now it's doing it more often, I have to unplug it and turn it on again. I took it to best buy as the pioneer warranty says but they did not respect it, they told me that they have no relationship with pioneer and that they cannot help me. I am very disappointed with them. Can someone tell me where I can take it to get the warranty honor?

Brought it home and everything was good, setup was easy and quick and no fuss... That was that last of that, about 10 minutes into realizing what I purchased the entire layout and setup of "Xumo" is horrible, good luck trying to connect your phone to do simple functions that a cheap Roku does better. After regretting but willing to justify because of the price and the fact its just a TV i stuck through.. Come a month of ownership this Pioneer Xumo won't turn on.. I've tried different batteries, the button on the TV, and everyway to unplug and replug it in, THEN it decides to work,,, (BIG maybe) I decided maybe it was a software bug that was causing this so I went onto the official Pioneer supported website that has this exact model TV listed for software and downloaded the latest software that was available at the time. Downloaded it, and still did not fix the problem... This TV is just not worth the price even on sale.. Save yourself the headache of an unfinished product that shouldn't be sold. Buy anything else.
