Remote issues

The tv is unusable without one. I’ve purchased 4 remotes that are supposed to work and i got one to work long enough to connect a roku but the remote stoppped working and now i can’t change the output for the sound, so i have no sound.

Screen went out less than 30 days, 14 day in-store

Had about a 6 inch spot from top to bottom that went out playing black and white only. Took back to store, found out they only cover it for 14 days. Had to buy a $50 plan to be able to return and get a different tv, they refused to swap even talking to a manager amd stating it went out in less than 30 days!

Its not the easiest system to navigate. It does not have access to all strewming apps. However it has a great picture and nice pictures. If you are looking for a secondary tv this may be for you

Stopped working after 5 weeks.

Screen went green and froze. Then wouldn’t turn on after I turned it off. I wouldn’t recommend this product because I'm not impressed when a product stops working after 5 weeks with limited use. Then I had the worst experience trying to exchange this tv even though the app said I still had 5 days left since it was a “Christmas purchase window”. They wanted to send geek squad to my house to check it out even though I was there at the store with the tv, and my app told me to bring it to the store and issued a return barcode. The only pleasant part of this situation was the guy who worked in the tv dept. He worked hard to find me another tv because this one was a Black Friday deal and they had none left for exchange or in the same price range. I’m not sure which I’m more disappointed in, a defective tv or the Best Buy staff and return/ exchange process.

TV stopped working after almost 1 year later

I initially thought it was the remote control, but TV won’t even turn in when you try to turn it on manually with the button located on the TV. Since it has been exactly a year already, I am outside the manufacturer warranty and customer service has not been able to help me, unless I want to pay 120 sum dollars to get a technician to ‘diagnose’ the problem and that is before paying for any potential parts or services needed. The tv was at a bargain price but not worth it if it’s just going to kick the bucket after a year. Before this issue, the tv was great.
