    Decent sound , installed in Jeep sound bar and they do pretty decent. The install was an absolute nightmare, first of all there were no instructions included, the custom adapter rings are horrible, the trim rings mounting holes did not line up with the adapter ring holes and the screens got bent trying to get them back in. Pioneer really let me down with the quality of the parts that were included to install. Would not recommend them to anyone

    I've had them in my truck for about 3 months now. I wasn't looking for anything crazy, I just wanted a nice full sound. These speakers sound almost as bad as the stock ones. The only thing they have going for them is how loud they are. They produce okay vocals, but everything else is completely out the window. There's little to no bass whatsoever, even after changing bass setting and messing with the equilizer. I'd also highly recommend you just going to an audio shop if you're not going to install them yourself. Best buy absolutely butchered the install. 2 door speakers weren't even fully secured in the bracket, so they continuously raddle.

      I am sorry to hear you are not happy with the TS-A653FH. In general, you want to match the nominal power of the speaker to the continuous output of the amplifier(headunit). The factory headunit will not output much power, usually around 20 watts. The nominal power of the TS-A653FH is 75 watts.
      You might consider using an amplifier to help drive the speaker and produce the full range you are looking for.
      Please contact Best Buy at 888-237-8289. They will try to assist you with the installation problems. PUSATechAnswers

    Had them put into our 1995 Jeep Wrangler and they have performed great with the top off of the Jeep.

    Solid sounding speakers for the money. I purchased open box and mine had a defect that produced a weird chirping or distorted sound at random. BestBuy returned the item with no fuss.
