    Best bang for the buck period! I was not a Pioneer fan until this line of speakers came out and my audio buddy told me to try them. I am glad I did. I was a JBL fanboy until now. I have these and the Big Brother components as well. BASS for days.

    The first pair of these that I bought had the wiring and screws missing. Now whether that was due to the manufacturer not packaging it properly or I was sold an open box item I don't know. Returned and exchanged. Works fine now.

    I needed speakers, and this was the only one in stock. It's average in performance. It's not great with anything with a heavy bass.

      I'm sorry to hear you are not satisfied with the performance of the speakers.
      In general, you want to match the continuous output of the amplifier to the nominal power of the speaker.
      The nominal power of the TS-A653FH is 75 watts. If you are only using a headunit to power the speaker, no amplifier, this could account for your sound quality.

  • Poor Fit; Highs and Mids Absent

    First off, these DO NOT FIT a Honda Element without cutting out the existing moisture guard and replacing it with a foam baffle. Secondly, with or without a new baffle the highs and mids are totally lost in these speakers. What was supposed to be a speaker upgrade has turned into a downgrade, these are a major disappointment that I will end up replacing.

      Some vehicles do require a bit of modification to install aftermarket speakers.
      In general, you want to match the continuous output of the amplifier (headunit) to the nominal power of the speakers.
      The nominal power of the speakers is 75 watts. Your factory system may not be providing enough power to properly drive the speakers. PUSATechAnswers

    For the money these car speakers are great. Upgraded the base speakers in my 2014 Honda Civic and the audio is very clean and crisp. Couldnt be happier :D
