Bought this one on sale to replace a Clarion NX603 unit that died after only three years. Excellent radio so far. Love the Apple Car Play feature. Backup camera works great. I can even see the backup camera while driving which the Clarion could not do. Touch screen response is fast. Tons of inputs and outputs. Sounds great. Love it! Next thing is to get better speakers to match it.

This car stereo is the least expensive of the Pioneer NEX line, which features  Car Play. Touch screen is nice, great features such as DVD, Pandora, etc. Bluetooth works well with my iPhone. This model will not work with Android Phone but features HD radio, unlike the 1300. Will need 2330 to work with Android phone and have HD radio. Models 1300/2300 do not have HD radio.

This is an excellent entry level touch screen Apple car play. Sound levels can be adjusted using the preset equalizer or can be customized to your liking. Once the phone is paired, it will automatically connect as soon as you get in the car. My only gripe is during the day, direct sunlight can have glare on the screen and can hardly see the display. when connected to iphone, car play automatically launches and you can use the standard apps like maps, messages, music.

I got this stereo to replace my original radio in my car after it was damaged by some mechanics while doing routine maintenance (lesson learned: don't trust your car with random body shops). While I was dreading picking out a new stereo for my car because I really liked my previous one, I really enjoyed my experience at best buy. The price was great! It was a holiday sell and the lowest price I could find anywhere. The quality is great and I was able to find one to fit my car perfectly and that had all of the bells and whistles I wanted with easy. Staff in store was very helpful. I have not had any problems yet almost a year later. I would recommend purchasing your next stereo here, or any car accessories for that matter.

My car is in great condition and I didn't really want to get a new one, but I wanted a back up camera and apple car play. With this purchase I got both of them and more! My backup camera is better than what is in new cars today and I can't say enough about the radio which has apple car play. I plan to keep my car at least 5 more years. With this purchase I feel like I have a new car! I LOVE it! I raved about it so much, my friend went to Best Buy and bought the same radio! She loves hers too!

I am simply amazed at the sound difference changing the stock head unit with this in-dash Pioneer NEX multimedia receiver. Its Apple CarPlay compatible, lets you access iPhone functions and iOS apps through its 6.2-inch touchscreen display or by voice with Siri Eyes Free. This Pioneer NEX multimedia receiver's HD Radio tuner delivers outstanding reception with local FM stations, the Apple CarPlay navigation works like a charm and gets you to your destination spot on. The very best feature is being able to access and listen to Spotify whenever and wherever i happen to be on the road. the sound quality is fantastic and much better than i imagined it would be, this stereo unit sounds great and thats the bottom line. This stereo absolutely ROCKS and i am still using the stock speakers

I purchased this CD/DVD receiver to replace the radio in my Toyota Tacoma and I absolutely love it! The main thing I love is that it has Apple CarPlay. Keep in mind to use Apple CarPlay, your phone will need to be plugged into the provided USB cable which connects to the back of the receiver and routed from the back of your dashboard. The display is perfect and the touchscreen works great. You can also use Bluetooth to play music and make phone calls from your phone without connecting it to the USB cord. Overall, this a great receiver! It does have the option of connecting a back-up camera (sold separately) and playing DVD's, but I did not use either of these options. If you like to watch movies, you can use the DVD option, but keep in mind that instructions state it can only be used when the car is parked.

Definitely recommend buying this product. I'm in love with it and absolutely love the Apple CarPlay feature! I would also recommend that you pay the $99 and have Geek Squad install it in your car because there is lifetime warranty on any issues that you may have with it in the future.

The stereo is a good upgrade from the factory installed stereo. Installation was relatively easy just make sure you have the correct wire harness. I get good reception of nearby radio stations. The volume buttons are a little small, which makes it a little difficult to raise and lower the volume while driving, but you can use the remote that comes with the unit. The DVD has a good picture considering the size. I installed a bypass on mine so that I don’t have to press and release the emergency brake when I want to see a movie or video. Bluetooth connection work excellet. There is a lot of functionality and the instructions don’t tell you what all the different options are for and what they do. I would recommend this stereo for someone that is looking to replace their factory installed unit.

The unit’s performance exceeded my expectations and the Geeks were terrific to work with and did a great job on the installation. The Pioneer with Apple Car Play features looks great, sounds great and couldn’t be easier to operate.

I needed to upgrade my factory stereo with something that has more modern features in it along with providing better sound. This answers the call. Bluetooth, backup camera, SiriusXM, IPhone integrates along with Apple CarPlay, all for $349!

This unit is amazing. You get the quality expected by Pioneer. Apple carplay works flawlessly. Sound quality is 10/10 Love the HD radio feature. Everything i was looking for in a Unit like this.

I got the Apple car play unit as a friend recommended to me, and I’m really happy with this choice. I also paid for installation and I’m really happy with that decision too. Alex at my local Best Buy was really fast and polite - even explaining features and just being a good guy service wise. The radio sounds AMAZING and essentially I have access to all of my phone needs through the car stereo. It’s exactly what I was hoping for

I love this radio. I was coming from a Pioneer radio that was ten years old, and the upgrade to HD radio, CarPlay, and DVD is amazing. The radio is responsive, it's easy to both set your stations and navigate between them, and the screen is generally visible. There are some times on super bright days where there might be glare- but what do you expect for the price? If you want perfection, spend a thousand bucks. If you want a good deal, you're not going to get any better than this.

The car play feature is awesome. Anyone can figure out how to use it without even using the manual. A lot of bang for the buck

I got this on sale during the one day sale for $249. It fits my car like it was meant to be factory thanks to Best Buy geek squad installation. My favorite feature is apple carplay. Phone calls are clear. navigation is perfect and talk to text with Siri works great. The sound quality from the head alone is outstanding and I don't have a speaker amp installed. I'm extremely pleased.

Great sound with apple CarPlay at this price.... easy to use and can be easily connected with two Bluetooth devices...

I got this radio for my husband as a gift and it does everything he wants it to do and sounds great. He uses it for a hands free phone and he is easy to understand and hear. We put a back up cameral on the back of his truck and he now is able to get in an out of tight places and can even look at the camera when he is going to road to make sure non of the tie downs have come loose. It is a great radio he can play off his phone, Pandora, sirus .
