Sounds OK, Amp Error within 2 months
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Sorry quality. Had a Clarion in my truck for 7 years. Not an issue. Put this in, 2 months later have to take it out and ship it in for repair. Garbage. Never buying Pioneer ever again.

Has no GPS

Overpriced

Great upgrade
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Replaced the factory radio in my ram with this one and couldn’t be happier. Has a lot of good features that are easy to use and the apple CarPlay is very nice. Loving the hands free talk and texting. Opted for the backup camera at the same time and it looks great on the 6.2 inch screen. The installer did a fantastic job on the deck and also hid the camera very well in the tailgate.

CarPlay makes it worth it
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.After trying two JVC radios I went for this unit. I am very pleased with it. The settings are nice however I can't do an firmware update because the parking brake must be on and I didn't have BB hook that up because I need new parking break lines. I think it's silly to have it like that. I mean it's just firmware, not a video. The sound on this baby is all that I need and much better than the JVC I returned. The carplay is a great thing to have and I simply love it. Now for the bad The volume button will not turn up. I have to use the remote in order to do this. It will turn down but the up button doesn't respond on the head unit. It was like this day one but I had already dealt with returning two JVCs , Best Buy is over 20 miles from my home. So I've decided to just live with it this way. I am almost convinced that Best Buy sells seconds. Or defective radios that have been returned to the manufacturer. This is the 3rd radio in a row with problems but the trouble with this radio I can work around thanks to the remote. Bottom line I would recommend this radio but I suggest buying it somewhere else.

Good Unit, HORRIBLE Customer Service

First, Pioneer doesn't actually read what you write when you send in a service request, they just assume they know what the problem is and then tell you to do something that is completely unrelated to your issue. When, for the third time they actually get a clue and read what the problem actually is, some slightly helpful information is given. When it's determined that their product is defective, the ONLY option is to send it back to Pioneer for repair. Even though the unit is only two weeks old, they DO NOT replace anything, they only repair and repairs take six weeks. That's right, you have to remove your stereo and wait 6 weeks for them to get around to fixing it. This is all after only owning it for only two weeks. Thankfully I got it at Best Buy and Best Buy seems to really want to support customers but SERIOUSLY consider other options if customer service is important to you. Sony looks good....
