Great radio at an affordable price, very easy to install and awesome sound.

As always with Pioneer products, this receiver does not disappoint! Touch screen is sensitive and settings are easy. Allows auxilliary aftermarket components like cameras and amplifiers to easily interface. This was exactly what I needed.

The brand speaks for itself and this doesn't let you down. It has your Bluetooth and so much more. It has the app to take anything from your phone screen and Bluetooth to the stereo. I'm still finding neat settings on it. Great product at a great price.

This unit was on sale for $180 I think. Has a great Bluetooth stack that reconnects your phone when in range with consistency. The Import Contact feature doesn't seem to stick but it could be user error. Best feature is the Crossover function. This provides a nice visual for setting the EQ dropoff frequencies for Front, Back and Subs, allowing the user to essentially remove bass frequencies that would normally distort the smaller front and rear speakers, and send those nice deep signals to the sub, where it belongs. Cons: I will is had a volume knob, not buttons. The Bluetooth connection has a delay so when you want to switch a song, there is a short delay. Also, if you trying to watch something on your phone using the stereo song, the sound and video will be out of sync. Not a big problem since its deisgned for listening to music while driving NOT watching videos.

Great in-dash unit from Pioneer. Sound quality is great with easy to use features. The installation was very simple and straight forward. Would definitely buy Pioneer radios going forward in the future if needed.

Great so far! Plenty of features, and easy to use. A number of color and background settings, so it will look good any vehicle. Bluetooth phone calls are clear, and the volume is adjustable (independent of music volume). A couple of notes about installation, though: 1. The Bluetooth microphone is small but will be visible, so discuss with your installer if you want it in a certain place. 2. There’s a usb cable that I wasn’t expecting. It’s not something I’ll use, and I don’t like the look of it, so I’m having it removed.

Perfect replacement double din head unit. Plays my old iPod Classic with no issues, bluetooth connection with my phone and supports a backup camera. Eq settings are very nice to adjust to the vehicles interior acoustics.

Bought this (and speakers) for my Ram 1500, to upgrade stock stereo/speakers. Great product, easy to use and install. Order the parking brake bypass ($20 & easy install) online to be able to play videos while car is in motion.

I upgraded the factory radio in my 2012 Colorado truck with this unit. Installed in myself only because I have installed other units before. Sound quality is excellent and really like the touchscreen controls.

I have always been a fan of Pioneer products. This is a good radio, clear calls, and bluetooth doesnt always connect automatically, but I think its my phone rather than the radio. Backup cam works well, but wont show anything on camera view because the camera only has power in reverse. I would wire it differently next time. Instructions says to connect camera to reverse circuit, but then camera view is disabled while driving. Remember to pull ebrake to program, or no functions will operate! Download the instruction manual. It is 130 pages long!

I’m very pleased with the car stereo I purchased. The sound is great and I love the touch screen. Not only was I pleased with my purchase, but the Best Buy guy who installed it did a great job too!

When I purchased this product I was looking at something basic, reasonable price but kind of mid level for a 2005 vehicle. This product is one that you can add to, such as a backup camera. It seem to do as intended.

Bought it as i gift for my daughters 04 Lexus IS and she LOVED it well me too you can tell difference with the stock radio this pioneer gives crystal clear sound plus a Bluetooth..

Has a lot of features I’m used to seeing in more expensive double din. Bad part is you need the instructions handy to learn how to navigate through most.

I got this for my husband and its great, he loves it easy to use, easy to connect his phone. the touchscreen makes it so much easier to navigate too.

I purchased this radio based on other reviews and the features were pretty good with one big exception. If your car has steering wheel controls and you purchase the correct steering wheel controls module your likely going to have issue making calls if your an android user. IOS apple users should not have issues. I had Best buy installed this radio and I was NOT able to make calls using the steering wheel controls. Answeing cslls or hang up were fine. Other controls such as volume mode all worked as they were supposed too I first contacted Pioneer tech support and they said it may be a defective radio so best buy swaped out. Same problem. They tried the next model up AVH601EX with no chsnge. the technician contacted there own help desk and found out there is a known issue with this series pioneer radios and android phones using steering wheel control Further confirmation came from Pioneer tech support. Pioneer said the AVH****NEX series should be fine with Android Auto. The management at the Patchogue store gave me a great deal in upgrading to the AVH2550NEX. This model worked like a charm. All steering wheel controls work like they were supposed too. My complements go to the store management and two technicians Anthony and Jill for the extraordinary job they did. They went over and above on doing this install for me. Thank you all!

My stock radio finally died and this is the one I chose as a replacement. It looks nice, works well but I would prefer my old one back because I don't have a stupid warning message every time I start my car! This is super annoying when you start the car and the last time you drove you left the radio at a blaring volume. You cannot access volume etc until the message is cleared.
