    Steering wheel control doesn’t work. Had to connect mic and backup camera myself after leaving. Mic still cuts in and out.

      For the steering wheel controls, you would need an adapter to convert the factory controls to the aftermarket stereo.

    This review is solely about Best Buy Norridge. In store I placed an order for a car stereo and backup camera installation. The sales guy didn’t look like he knew what he was doing but I went along with it bc how hard could it be, I was wrong. I waited 3 weeks for installation. I arrived at my appointment, dropped my car off and 30 mins later Best Buy called and said they needed me to come back to swap some items and order some they needed. I went back and the install guy said the Best Buy sales guy entered the wrong model of my car which then ordered the wrong parts for installation!!! Needless to say, I was upset and returned all 10 parts that were ordered! Incompetent! I don’t understand why the installation people aren’t the people who are required in placing orders since they know best.

    Device died within two weeks

    First of all the staff at BestBuy was amazing. They did a great job with the installation and were super friendly and knowledgeable. The radio worked great for 2 weeks, then it just died while I was driving (turned off). Restarting the car didnt help. I looked online and realize that the NEX series from Pioneer is infamously bad with high failure rates. Went back to best buy and they kindly exchanged it for another unit from a different brand with free installation. Bad product, but great staff.

    We wanted to get my daughter a touch screen more updated media for her car. The first one we had chosen wasn't what we needed the installation technician helped us find one to more suit our daughters needs. She was very helpful!

    Electronic KILLER!

    I bought this for my 2011 bmw 128i convertible and instalation was pretty easy however, after wiring, radio was defective and fried my window switch and top will not close or open, Very Very disappointed with this purchase, have to spend thousands of dollars in damages this product caused! AVOID AT ALL COSTS!
