At first, I thought it was great until I did some research after I got my sub I went to go look under the dash and the installer which no longer works at the Warner Robins location, where I purchased it at through the box away my camera backup cable everything like that he didn’t install. My GPS signal locator where I warned them to the wiring is hanging down and the radio keeps glitching out. I would like to get I’m gonna pull it out myself and it says that y’all do not fix that brand I would rather just get it pull it out and get a different head unit and I will install it myself this time.

I purchased this radio and had it installed in my truck so that I could listen to music using my SiriusXM subscription. The radio is labeled as SiriusXM ready. I called Best Buy for help in locating the radio I.D. number needed to activate Sirius; only to be told that the radio IS NOT SiriusXM ready and that I would need to purchase and have installed a separate SiriusXM tuner installed. I am not a happy customer!

You are correct, the DMH-W3000NEX does not have SiriusXM built-in. They require a separate tuner and our radios are "ready" to accept their tuner. You could also use the SiriusXM application. This app is now supported in Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, it will appear as a source.

1 month after purchasing this head unit the bottom half of the screen stopped accepting any touch input and that makes it almost completely inoperable. Not what I would expect from a $400 head unit. Don't buy !

This rating will change if my issues are ever addressed. I am unable to play stereo audio through the aux input. I have tried multiple cables like the one described in the manual. Pioneer technical support is no help. After three calls they are now telling me that the aux input doesn't accept stereo audio input without video. What?! You have advertised it and labled it as an aux input but you cant input audio only? I have been buying Pioneer products for 35 years, if this can't be resolved it will be my last.

The AUX input can accept a basic stereo audio input signal. I tested with the headphones output of a phone to the AUX input and got sound. Make sure the AUX connector is securely plugged into the back of the stereo. The white connector needs to make a secure snap when proper. Make sure you fully raise the audio output on your XM device. If not, it may not through clearly. If you continue to have problems, contact our Product Support at 1-800-421-1404, select option 1. They will provide further troubleshooting assistance.

This stereo is a huge upgrade from stock. The screen is clear, the sound gets plenty loud when paired with good speakers, and CarPlay works well with my iPhone. Setup was simple and the interface is easy to use. The only drawback is a slight lag when switching apps or menus, but it’s nothing that makes it unusable. For the price, the value and performance are excellent. Definitely recommend if you’re looking to modernize your car’s system.

Decent stereo but I only bought this to replace a malfunctioning unit, the same unit, that I had installed 8 months prior. This unit will likely be returned because even with the best Total Tech package Best Buy offers they try to send the malfunctioning unit out for repair, costing at least two appointments at the stereo installation bay and one open box return, that's IF they managed to fix the original purchase made 8 months prior. If not there will be another installation appointment taking up even more of my work hours and I'm contemplating presenting them with an invoice for the hours of work I'll have missed by the time this transaction is completed. I am not recommending this item due to short life span of 8 months and horrible replacement process through Best Buy Total Tech.

Works flawlessly. Installed in my 1999 Chevy Suburban and have had 0 issues with it since Install. The Wireless Android auto connects instantly to my Z fold 5 and have not had any problems with the connection to it. Many people complain about sun glare and while the screen does have a glossy finish I have never had an issue with the sunlight making it hard to see. I have been in other vehicles with really bad infotainment designs that cause it to be a bigger issue so its something to be aware of.

Bought this for my granddaughter and she absolutely loves it. The young man who helped us I think his name was Brett was the kindest and most helpful person. He helped us with everything including installing this. He also was extremely honest and gave us a prompt refund on something that wasn’t needed during installation. My son has since gone back to the same store and purchased one for himself.
