I bought this to replace the original factory head unit radio in my 2006 MDX. It's feature-rich (USB, bluetooth, Android auto). The only downside is the row of buttons on the left hand side are tiny. You cannot read them - must memorize them, and otherwise you will have a hard time to operate it while driving. Now most of time, I can use steering wheel control without using these tiny buttons.

Had the first version of this stereo and I have zero complaints absolutely loved it! Only reason i am upgrading is because now it comes with CarPlay & AndroidAuto which is really cool!! Would definitely recommend for the upgrade! And plus I still have my CD player!!

Nice unit. Does what it is supposed to. Installed in a 2002 Honda Accord as needed the bluetooth and Apple Carplay features. BB San Rafael did a great job on the installation. Note: Doesn't show album covers on MP3 files burned onto a CD/DVD but works on MP3 Files on a flash drive.

Sound is fantastic. Easy install in my kia. Look like it has always been there. Easy setup and the android auto feature is fantastic.

If you want to have always on bluetooth and air play with a cable this stereo does it all. If anything it's too sticky... when you get in the car your last spotify song is starting up no matter what... so you have to switch to audible or something else if you want something different. Other than that this thing is perfect... great screen, easy to use and setup, and the EQ and sound choices are far superior to previous models.

Greatest investment for my truck. First time I've played with Android Auto & I love it because I can see Google Maps on the screen, I can Bluetooth my iPod & my phone's audio, & I can talk on the phone. If you want Sirius XM, you'll need to probably purchase a receiver or something; however, you can Bluetooth it though this radio & you're solid. As a bonus, there's a DVD/CD player too!!! Worth the money & I recommend Geek Squad installation.

I have a 2008 GMC Yukon XL. I was able to add car play and still utilize viewing of rear screen entertainment system. You need to install the Bluetooth microphone for voice controls and hands free talking. fits perfectly and maintained the steering wheel controls with the RP5-GM31 interface.

I only just had this installed, swapped a JVC unit for this when it went on sale for the same price. The main reason was because this had physical buttons for volume control, but in getting this set up I'm very impressed with the overall difference in UI and features as well. If you want CarPlay, I think that any system with that feature will probably provide the same experience. Personally I don't find it that compelling as I have a phone mount closer to eye level in my car that I find much better for navigation. Having some custom controls on audio playback for some apps is nice though. Bluetooth: Pairing is simple, and it works just as you would expect. One nice thing about this unit is that it makes it simple to switch between two connected devices. USB Thumbdrive: Discovered that this unit won't read ExFAT, but no problem, I switched to FAT32 and it was just fine. Folder navigation was simple and intuitive, if you want to navigate by tags you need to let the unit index them and create a database. It tells you to do it, and you just have to find the icon and tap it, not intuitive, but not terrible either. There is a play bar for navigating within files, which is huge if you listen to audio books or other long files. CD: Physical eject button, what more can I say? The unit requires you to have the parking break on to use certain functions. I can understand why it does that for video playback, or customizing the interface, but it will also not scroll the title of a track unless the brake is on. I actually find it more distracting to see a clipped title than to see scrolling text, but this is a minor annoyance.

I just got this installed last week, so I can't really say much about its' longevity, but performance-wise, it has been great. I got this primarily because my 2018 Subaru didn't come with Apple CarPlay, and that was a feature I wanted. This unit had that and more. So far, everything has worked flawlessly. There was a small issue during installation, but the Best Buy crew took care of it very quickly and efficiently. Thus far, I am very pleased.

Nice sounding unit! The install job by John at the Rogers Arkansas Best Buy was phenomenal! The only complaint I have about the unit is the lack of a volume knob! My truck doesn't have steering wheel controls so a big knob would be welcome. The included remote control works better than trying to find the tiny rocker control on the unit. Of all the stereos that would fit in my truck, I think that this one worked out well.

This Pioneer does everything you can ask and need. Quick hookup to phone lends itself to a seamless transition to provide additional options. I drive a convertible and needed to make a few minor "tweaks" and adjustments, but very intuitive and easy to accomplish same. Can't go wrong with this upgrade from the 2500NEX and if you are still playing CD's (like me) nice to have on board as well. Value for dollar and was recommended by the technician - can't go wrong!
