I recently purchased this receiver to replace my OEM stereo in my 2011 Kia Optima. It has been great since the installation! I got this installed by Geek Squad and they did an amazing job, the guy at Arrowhead Best Buy in Arizona was amazing and knew exactly what to do, set up everything and was ready to go when I got there after about 2 hours. The wireless CarPlay works great and connects right away to my phone, it has helped me to keep my eyes on the road and give a better look to the interior in my car. It also made my car a little bit more louder and it can be customized for your personal use. I got the Maestro Datalink with this as well and it works perfect with it. Gives me an update on my tire pressure, plenty of gauges and battery checks that I didn’t have with my old stereo. I’ve been happy with my purchase and will give an update on it after a few months.

I purchased this audio deck about a month ago. Upgraded from the 4200 model, and I'm loving the experience. Initially there was some lag on the screek. However, there was an available update after installation that I could upload via Wi-Fi. The upload seemed to improve the stabilisation of the screen lag. Overall, I love the sound and quality of music and fermentation utilize with this deck. I will definitely encourage others to purchase it.

Great unit, I have had it in my car for 6 months now. The only draw back is the its advertised as being able to screen share wirelessly and I have not had any luck being able to do so. Other the than the screen is clear and touch functions are nice. and the wireless android auto connects with ease.

Fits great on the dash of my Toyota , Panasonic deck also has a buoy in amplifier for my front speakers and back speakers that we installed , produces great sound and I’m Very satisfied

I am absolutely satisfied because it is user friendly and the sound improvement is better than I expected.

I have had some problems upon install like jumping in the songs which is frustrating. The sound is good but not this problem. Will be taking back in to get fixed and hopefully solve problem. Spent quite a bit for whole system and expected better for price paid. Not quite as happy as could of been if everything worked properly.

Excellent Radio, east to install and easy to use. works great with wireless apple carplay and Android auto, Spotified, etc

Occasionally fast forwards on my songs but overall really great.

The wireless car play is legit. If ever it was worth it to pay the price of a small motorized vehicle,l for some tunes… this is it! Easy to use, was a breeze to install (swapping out my prior aftermarket clarion deck); and easy to wire up.

The Pioneer 6.8 Double Din Radio works great. It’s easy to use and like all Pioneer Radios it sounds great. I like Pioneers Quality and if you used Pioneer Radios in the past you will love this radio. It has plenty of power and inputs.

I bought this radio mainly because of the Pioneer name, and that it has wireless Apple car play. I'm not planning to return it, though there are some definite improvements that are needed. The app is the biggest issue as it is extremely glitchy and very frustrating to use. It took me almost two hours to update the software and change the wallpapers. (I reviewed countless forums where just about everyone else had similar issues.) The screen quality is also not as HD as you would expect in 2021. The setup is also not as user friendly as other radios I have had in the past. It's also a little buggy here and there, but nothing too major. With that being said, the wireless car play works well and is very convenient. The radio itself also has great sound quality. I think much of the issues can be fixed with software updates, so I'm holding out hope that this was a good overall purchase. The potential is certainly there.

Wireless Android Auto is not as seamless as I hoped for. Sound quality and voice call are great. This head unit has some cool features but I wish it also included screen mirroring from my phone.

It's an excellent product which delivers on what it promises. I love the wireless Android Auto, and HD radio capabilities. It is a little pricey, but it is good quality.

The radio is great, until you want to switch to another source. For example switching from android auto maps to Sirius, requires 3 separate key presses, Home>sources>scroll down to Sirius. Switching back is an addition step. It's cumbersome and feels like Pioneer had different teams for each part of the radio and they all just decided last minute how the sources would switch. Also, Alexa works amazingly well, even for things such as volume up or change stations, but... it does not work through android auto, so it's one or the other. hotspot for Alexa, no android auto. Android Auto, no data for Alexa. Dumb! This I blame google for, Android auto, it should share the data connection with the radio, which would allow Alexa to work properly. The wireless connects reliably and in fact have never been wired with the radio.

Awesome radio. I'm using the hard wired connection from my phone and it is flawless. Never any connectivity issues with suriusXM or iHeart. Haven't gone beyond that so far. I love it.

Wireless Apple play!!! It’s a grey unit and looks good in the dash. Easy to use and love the layouts. Sounds great with unlimited adjustability

This item is everything I had desired: an active GPS map, just like I have on my phone; it plays my favorite music app from the internet and it plays directly to my vehicle’s speaker system. I no longer have to listen to it on my tinny phone speaker. I can also talk on my tele through my vehicle’s speakers. Best of all I can see what’s behind me, whether kids or pedestrians in a shopping mall parking lot, or an on coming car as I’m backing out. All and all, it a great product.
