This item is everything I had desired: an active GPS map, just like I have on my phone; it plays my favorite music app from the internet and it plays directly to my vehicle’s speaker system. I no longer have to listen to it on my tinny phone speaker. I can also talk on my tele through my vehicle’s speakers. Best of all I can see what’s behind me, whether kids or pedestrians in a shopping mall parking lot, or an on coming car as I’m backing out. All and all, it a great product.

Best Buy miscommunication told all the parts for their went to my appointment. The port was not there what is important I have the buy $170 worth of parts and set up another appointment. Best Buy cannot fix antenna cables. The service technician was efficient and very friendly.

Little tricky when using a apple device and a android at the same time. Other than thay it is a great radio

So far, I absolutely love this upgrade. I had this installed in my 2010 Honda Fit, and it’s such a huge upgrade. I almost went for a cheaper unit, but my wife really wanted wireless CarPlay, so we opted for this guy. And holy moly, she had the right instinct. Once it’s set up, the wireless CarPlay experience is super fast, totally bypassing the Nex UI, and it’s so convenient not having to find and plug in your phone every time you get in the car. Obviously I’ll plug in for longer trips, but for the average local commute, it’s just super convenient.

Awesome system to be use in a Jeep. Wireless CarPlay is a game changer. Fits perfectly and easy to use. With it without the remote.

Just had it installed but not at Best buy. So far so good. Went in easy, setting it up was a breeze, lots of great features. I love the wireless car play.

It sometimes like to skip through songs lit someone’s hitting a 5 second fast forward every once in a while but other than that it’s a good radio

This deck is amazing and the price is not too bad. This deck is really top notch with WiFi integration for IOS phones as well as Android phones for CarPlay and Androidauto, no wire connections necessary, you also get the added benefits of installing B.U. Camera, Idatalink compatibility, and the list goes on. This deck should fit most vehicles, but with additional parts or accessories. Talk to an experienced live autotech. do not speak with anyone else even if they work for Best Buy, they don’t work on vehicles autotechs do.

I absolutely love my Apple CarPlay. It makes driving so much easier. Everything is at my fingertips. Excellent quality, definitely worth the money. Technicians at Best Buy did a great job during the install. I am extremely happy with my purchase would recommend to anyone looking to upgrade their radio

As a previous owner of Pioneer car stereos, I would say this has a similar feel, however updated and upgraded. The sound quality is impressive and the customizations are more than you could ask for without being overwhelming. As others have stated, the lack of physical volume buttons can take some getting used to (not sure if I like it yet), but it does provide a very clean and modern look!

I really want to like this but I cant . First the good is that it doesnt start to clip until volume is at 38 and 40 is max. Sound quality is great and the active crossovers are nice to have. Equilizer is also good. The issue i have is the touch controls on screen are unresposive the majority of the time especially the volume and home control. I am forced to use remote which is not that great as well not to mention how stupid it looks when im pointing a remote at something that is right in front of me. Sent it to pioneer under warranty and it seemed better but gradually the issue returned and are worse. I dodnt have the issue with home button untill it came back from "repair". Contacted pioneer and have gotten no response. They responded quickly while warranty was still active . It expired right after i got it back from repair. So I am stuck with a $700 piece of junk unless I want to dish out more cash to have repaired. That i wont do since they didnt repair it the first time . I've owned nothing but pioneer car stereos my very first car but after this I will not use another one.

Replacement for my 4400NEX that died after 2 years. Overall the CarPlay and android auto integration is good. Sounds good too. Has interface delays when using some of the buttons though. When I click the home button it takes a second or two to actually go to the Home Screen. Hopefully a firmware update will correct this as I am currently on the latest firmware build and have experienced this before and after updating the firmware.

This is a great product, the interactive is very responsive and doesn't lag. Needless to say the wireless carplay is a game changer. Install was a breeze and the kits i got for it from metra worked seamlessly.
