I bought this as a replacement and upgrade for my 002 GMC Yukon. I had it installed by best Buy and was pleased with it for a few months then the buttons on the LH side of the unit stopped working. The features still worked with the remote, but having to use the remote work all of the functions was unrealistic. Unfortunately, I had to return it and I exchanged it for a Kenwood unit that I am extremely pleased with.

The reception was not good and would not hold channels. It sounded great and it offered several features I really liked.

I have the Product ,but the free best buy install was cancelled for now due to the covid19 .a later date for install will be planned when the install team contacts me .

Great product but even after following directions to a T, backup camer doesn’t work.

For the retail price and not having applecarplay is too much. It should say in the box. That it doesnt have carplay not just that works with iphone or ipods. It needs to specify. The car was already install when i found out and to have made an appintment to remove and install a new one with apple car play.

Seems to be a good unit except the radio doesn’t receive a good signal at all. I’m wondering if the kit didn’t hook up the correct antenna.

Very nice unit to add to my work truck.Best buy made it easy to shop online and received my products at a very fast pace.

Way overpriced for a very basic looking car stereo that has few features.

Price is ok but controles are very hard to use, especialy while driving

Product is great! Best Buy ordered wrong parts, had to set up an appointment 2 weeks in advance. Scheduled time 1:15pm, car didn’t go in the garage until 2:15pm and didn’t get completed until almost 4pm. I showed up at 12:50pm to be on time. You wonder why people shop online, you have zero service so what’s the point at the brick and mortar?! That is Your product- Service!

REALLY WANT TO SEE HOW THIS OPERATES BUT BEST BUY HASN'T GOTTEN INSTALLATION BACK UP AND RUNNING YET. HOPE TO SEE HOW IT DOES SOON.

No plugs were in the box. Had to purchase plugs from another vendor. No microphone plug either so bluetooth is useless.

Have not installed, having difficulty reaching store. As i write this have been on hild for 20 minutes.

I could not install due to the angle of my dash I suggest doing your homework prepurchase. Had to return.

This unit had a faulty screen. Thought the screen needed to be recalibrated tried it 5 times and during the process of trying to calibrate it the screen was still not responding in certain areas

Not compatible for use with Android smartphones. We returned it and had to pay $250 more for basically the same unit with Android capability. We would have changed to Kenwood or something else but the wiring was already installed and it was more cost effective to stay with Pioneer.

Radio will only pair with my phone part of the time. Sometimes you have to turn the blue tooth on and off multiple times just for the radio to see my phone. Also will randomly drop my phone when playing spotify.

Ok for the price if you have 800 to spend dont get this

This review is regarding Best Buy rather than the pioneer head unit, as we have yet to have it installed. A buyer should think twice before purchasing any BestBuy “open-box” item, regardless of the condition rating. My purchase of this pioneer head unit was categorized as “excellent” condition, and although it arrived in the original box with the accessories and manual, ALL of the protective packaging had been removed. The radio, remote, etc. was loose inside the box. This resulted in the radio shipping without anything keeping it safe or secure inside the box. It was clear upon arrival, from the condition of the inside of the box, that the radio had been repeatedly slammed around during shipping. We can only hope that once installed, it functions as it should.

if i could give no stars i would. asked them to please hook this stereo the way i wanted it to where i could use my phone bluetoothed like the stock radio was and they placed their own microphone for me to speak into when i specifically told them i dont want it. and now the radio goes out on random occasions. took it back in and asked them to fix it and due to my husband looking inside the dashboard they said we broke their warranty and they refuse to fix what they had messed up. i refuse to bring any of our vehicles to this place not after they messed up our truck. i will be going to power plant from now on and i strongly suggest others do the same. they said they can fix the mess up with no problem and have it set up the way i want it to be.
