Not worth hassel

Owned for 10 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.So i switched to pioneer from Sony only because i wanted something that fit properly into adapter. thought i would go budget and best reviewed. after 3 month i got a random warning about over heating on amp and then would have to turn off car and then turn back on. now into month 10, it happens all the time so I'm shopping for a new head unit again. also not as loud as other head units. going back to sony and not going to try and save a dollar

Nice unit but lacks dvd capability

There was no communication from them whatsoever. They didn't ask or call me where I wanted the microphone from the car play to be mounted. They just put it where it's most obvious and not discreet at all. Also, they scratched the interior of the panel of my car! The color of the interior is black so it is very obvious. There are now a few scratches in my car and I have been trying to get a hold of this location and no one is picking up and I left voicemails and no one is getting back to me. Instead, they want me to show up in person and show them the damages. I live 45 mins from this location so it's a hassle for me to drive back there. I do NOT recommend getting any kind of work done at this Geek Squad location, they are not communicative and they have horrible customer service. This was my first time working with Geek Squad and I will NOT go back. The CarPlay itself is great, but please do not waste your time getting it installed at this location.
