This device constantly shut off from day 1 and GPS constantly failed. I was extra upset because this model was selected by the Best Buy Personal Shopper. Returned to Best Buy to service this item 3 times before they eventually told me to contact Panasonic. Of course that was only three weeks before my warranty expired. After a painstaking process, it was finally sent back to panasonic under Priority mail, so I could track if they received it. A week later they still hadn't log it into the system because support stated that it was not received. After I asked them to further review it because USPS confirmed it was signed for, they located it under a different Ticket number. It was finally repaired, returned , reinstalled and now works worst than before... didn't think that was possible but here we are. So I'm definitely not choosing Panasonic again and since I didn't get the (Apparently needed) Extended warranty, I'm definitely taking the loss on this one. Guess you live and learn.... Not to buy Panasonic! Hopefully this helps someone else avoid this nightmare.

Poor condition
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Don't order open box, I thought I could save some money when I received the stereo the wiring harness already had sodder on the wires, some were cut and there were burn marks all over the wires, I had to take it back to the store and ended up paying $70 more than I wanted to for a new one. Just a very bad experience not going to lie I thought I could save some money just ended up wasting time. Everything else in the box was in perfect condition.

Exchanged for another one same model and just to find out it still keeps disconnecting.Even tried new 16 I phone and Mobile T still has problems

This unit fails in everyway you can think of. Steering wheel controls only work when they want to. The wireless apple carplay crashes every time and resets. Sometimes the screen goes black after using the back up camera setting. This unit rarely keeps a bluetooth phone connection. Very disappointed with this purchase and the only reason I'm keeping it is because of the backup camera to hook onto trailers.

Poor Customer Practices

The delivery and price were good. The item looked fine upon initial opening. When it was installed (by an independent company since there were no Best Buy locations near me able to do the install), we noticed 2 significant scratches on the screen. I called Customer Service and spoke with Marzy. She was kind and understood my concerns but told me that there was nothing she could do, per store policy, to help me. I explained that the "excellent" label was false and asked if they could send me a replacement, and she informed me that this was not possible. I am very frustrated as Best Buy is incorrectly labeling Open Box items and then not offering replacements when damaged goods are received.

Terrible quality

The screen brightness is all the way up, it’s a complete glare and not visible when there’s any sunlight shining on it. They didn’t tell me until after my installation appointment that I’d need another part for my steering wheel buttons to work, so I can’t even do anything while driving. Customer service kept sending me back to the store for exchange options, even after VMs with the installation line nobody called me back, so now I’m stuck with a terrible several hundred dollar purchase.

Very weak power. Add an amplifier.

Screen is hard to see on a sunny day

I also wish it had a volume knob on the stereo.

If you wear polarized sunglasses, they greatly reduce viability on an LCD screen.
Also, many new cars have daytime headlights. This can send a false signal to the radio, making it think it is night and dims the display. Go into the Display settings and see if you have Day or Night Illumination lit up. Raise the value for the one lit up.

The responsiveness of the screen is sometimes delays, the music sometimes randomly cuts off, and the brightness/visibility is very bad.
