    I purchased an open box 2770-DEX and best buy not only have me a non functioning unit but they gave me an older 1700 model. Extremely dissatisfied and disappointed they would ever do something like this.

    Hot garbage!!

    Installed this on my car, worked ok for a couple of months then it started fritzing out. CarPlay connection is hit and miss wireless or plugged in, crashes constantly. Firmware is latest on head unit and phone. Tried several phones with same result. The on screen keyboard never worked due to what I assume was I don’t have a vehicle speed signal wire to tap into from the ECM. Tried multiple times to contact manufacturer… might as well been writing Santa. I’d highly recommend buying something else.

    I don't like how it automatically starts the last song I was listening to on whatever streaming service was last used, along with gps. Also, the remote isn't working correctly.

    Pioneer quality has gone down hill.

    I purchased this unit to replace a similar Pioneer stereo that died after three years. Voice to text is dismal compared to my previous unit. I am not sure what has changed, but I am not happy with it.

    Don't trust BB site or their installers

    Scheduled installation for my 2012 V6 Mustang. No nav, no steering controls, basic as basic could be. According to BB's site, this model fits my vehicle. I buy the kit for installation, and low and behold the installer tells me it won't work, and that I need to upgrade my radio. And that I need another part for it that costs almost $200 more for steering controls, etc. Ummm, THERE AREN'T ANY CONTROLS. Long story short, I returned $1000 worth of equipment for 2 vehicle installs and taking business elsewhere to competent people.

    Trash product. Damaged my car during installation. None of the features work as advised. The quality of the sound is horrible like a u-Haul truck. Very disappointed in the advisory of the Geek Squad giving misleading information to make a sale. I will never get a radio installed at Best Buy ever again. Lesson learned.

    I purchased this radio unit over a year ago with hopes of enjoying music on long rides. However, if you are using Carplay the unit will not change the radio or Sirius XM station. You have to get out of Carplay and go back to audio source to change thr station, then switch bavk to Carplay. If knew this I would not have purchased the unit.

      I am sorry, Apple CarPlay does not control the actual stereo functions. Apple CarPlay will change the tracks within the compatible application you are using. PUSATechAnswers

    Stripped Down Radio

    I upgradded from the 2660 because I wanted wireless carplay and the fan failed. Wow, what a pile of garbage! The amplifier is nonexistent! This stereo despite being rated the same, has no amplifier power or bass! Peaking through the top, there is no amplifier! No capacitors or anything resembling an amplifier! The software is stripped down and loses alot of features. Dont bother buying an open box because half the parts will be missing. Twice!!

    Would not recommend.

    I liked the radio at first but after a while car play stopped working correctly. We reset it but still didn’t work, kept cutting out when driving. Replaced with same radio and Siri didn’t work correctly. Replaced with Sony after and have no issues.

    Drops Android Auto

    I have had this for 10 months and every months it gets worse and worse! It drops from android radio every hour!!!! Man this sucks!!!!

    Poor quality, audio does not work

    The radio audio did not work and Best Buy replaced the unit. The second unit had the same issue. I have been into the store 6 times and our car audio only works about half the time. The screen works and Apple CarPlay displays. Best Buy has not been able to solve the issue and our car audio still does not work.

    Its annoying after a while it disconnects while im driving while using maps and listening to music i have tried connecting it with the apple car play wire directly it still disconnects and all the wires are connected good

    Losing connectivity more than 3 times in a month

    The choose this one as it the cheapest radio with wireless apple carplay , but it appears that im loosing the connection a number of times , and appears a msg please attach the atena in order to work wirelessly even thou the antenna is attached.

    No idea how good this product is because the installer couldn’t complete the installation. Not happy at all with Best Buy after this. My car radio still isn’t playing right after putting the original back in. That’s what I get for trying to update my factory radio with an Apply Car play model.

    I would love to rate this product but BestBuy Tech is unable to install my system for 21/2 months. Of course they’re tech warranty program starts when I purchased the product. What a racket!

    Im disappointed. Excepted more from pioneer. Started giving error messages after 2 months. Saying amp over load. On the 4th month. It totally stopped turning on. Nothing comes on

    microphone stopped working after a couple weeks of use. the radio itself works but i bought it brand new and its already faulty... had best buy install it too

      It should not lose the GPS just by hitting a bump.
      I would suggest having the installer check the connection of the GPS antenna, maybe it is not seated well.
