In some cases, you have to modify your dash before the radio will fit.

Best bang for your buck

For starters, I get this unit doesn’t have all the bells and whistles as a more expensive one, but at this price point, it does everything I was wanting. The wireless CarPlay is a game changer for me, and it links up seamlessly. Turn the car on, and your tunes are playing within 10 seconds. And, now having Apple Maps integrated on the screen, means I can now ditch the unsightly phone mount from my dash. I also had Best Buy do the installation. My tech, Justin, was a complete pro. He did an excellent job, as well as refunded me for an accessory that wasn’t needed. He also reminded me of their lifetime warranty for the install as long as I have this car. All in all, so glad I went with this unit. Sure, there are plenty of wireless car play stereos out there, but at a premium cost. For this single dad with not a lot of extra money laying around, this is the perfect unit, at a great price, with all the functions I want.

Don't trust BestBuy compatibility

It said that this would fit a 2000 Excursion. It does not. I've had to cut the opening bigger and remove a couple of screws from my dash. I wish that I would have measuered the

I am sorry to hear it was not a direct fit. There are some vehicles that require modifications to install an aftermarket stereo.

I had got my radio stolen so I went to BestBuy to buy one and have them put it in. I first get delayed because I didn’t have a certain part for the radio. Had to wait about a month. The appointment came I get a call saying simply that they couldn’t do it. So now I’m told I have to go call around to other shops and see if I can get it installed. I hope they don’t expect for me to pay for a installation fee. Really disappointed in BestBuy and how the installation took so long. Beyond frustrated.
